Red yowled in pain and stumbled backwards, her back was bleeding even more more, a pool of blood forming at her feet. She was beginning to get dizzy.
No! She thought, gritting her teeth, in determination, and at the pain that ricocheted through her body.
I won't give up! She looked up just in time to see the Golden Eagle coming at her with talons outstretched, and swiftly jumped to the side, avoiding the clutches of death. As the eagle flew past her, beating her wings, angry the fox had side-stepped, Red quickly took the chance and leaped up, her jaws open. She felt the feathers brush the inside of her mouth, and snapped down with bone-crushing strength, her fangs shredding the feathers of the bird's wing where she had bitten. The bird screeched, and Red was jerked forward from the bird's motion, but somehow, even in her wounded state, managed to keep a good hold, her jaws latched on the bird's wing. She suddenly pulled the bird back and flung her off, then looked around for the Kestrel. She wouldn't go down easy.
((Lol this is cool, I can Rp my fox AND my eagle at the same time in one post since their battling.))
Eva chirped and fluttered around.
Sierra Vista was about to land on the cliff when she heard the screeches and yowls,
Must be a battle going on. She thought. Glancing around, she flung the sea trout behind a rock and flew towards the sound. She was an active flier, beating her wings constantly. She didn't do much gliding, as she flapped her powerful wings and descended over the forest, pin-pointing the sound. She silently latched onto a branch and looked down form her perch, seeing a Kestrel and a Golden Eagle battling a wounded Red Fox. She felt sorry for the animal... couldn't the brutes (birds) just prey on smaller things? Why not try fish? She shrugged, and thought about helping the fox.
But birds of prey aren't supposed to defend their prey... She argued with herself,
But then again, yes I'm a bird of prey, but foxes aren't my prey. Fish are. So technically, oh what the heck just help the poor fox! She thought. She had admired the fox's stubbornness and determinedness anyway.
