Ookami flies up into a tall tree, with dence green leaves and thick branches, overlooking the forest. The forest's potential went unnoticed to most. She was concealed in her crevice in the tree, sighing with content. Ookami gave out a distinctive Harpy call, piercing through the forest.

Avalon had her wings slightly raised at the schreeching. "I don't know."

Skye found the seal too heavy and landed, folding in her wings.

Rocky glided down to the rocks on the beach and hid behind one,he watched the steller curiously

Ookami called again, and flapped her huge wings, then shaking her head, began grooming her feet the size of a man's hand, and talons the size of bear claws.

Avalon nodded, spreading her wings. "After you?"

Skye sighed at the calls of the Harpy, wishing she could chase her out of her territory. She turned to the seal, savoring the delicous meat.

Ookami had has this territory for two years, since she broke out of the zoo. She had very, very little space, and defended it. Screeching once more, she tuned in sound with her crest of feathers.

Skye angrily screeched back in a Steller's call, getting angrier and angrier each call the Harpy made.

Ookami's feathers ruffled with rage at the fish bird's call. This tiny space was hers, and she would have to voluntarily leave herself. Ookami called back to the Stellar with a threatening screech.

Furious now, Skye let out another screech, hackles raising as her rage built. She'd had her territory for years! Sure, she was nomadic and was gone when the Harpy took it, but it was still hers!
