Honestly, I didn't even notice the background at first. I was amazed by the detail on the eye and the fur. Holy cheese doodles, I cant believe that you did that one hair at a time. Really, the soft focus on the background makes the foreground's extreme focus stand out much more. Amazing job!!

WOW! thats amazing! though i find it looks more like a horse eye than a dog (please dont take that offensively!) its truly amazing!
