Once your in love, you really do see an imperfect person perfectly.
My boyfriends name is Travis. He has blonde hair and blue eyes.
Travises dad was in the army when Travis was 10 years old. Travises mom was dating an abusive man while his dad was away. He also had to support 3 younger siblings at age 10 while his dad was away.
His dad never wrote to him while he was away. When he came back, all his stuff was repo'd because the mom never paid for it. All of his dads stuff was gone. And the mom cheated on him with the abusive man. His dad took Travis and his mentally handicapped little sister with him and they began traveling all across the southern portion of the country living out of a suit case.
Travis lived in Louisiana, Kansas, Texas, and Nebraska. Jumping back and fourth for years. They literally stayed in one town for approximately 2 weeks at a time. Travis got to the point he didn't want to get close to people because he was scared to end relationships and friendships. For years he went with not many friends because he moved around so much.
Finally it happened. Travises dad settled in the town just next to me here in Missouri. We go to school together and actually had a class together last year where I got the guts to get his number, which turned into us going to a concert and finally going out. <3 On the first date he kissed me and constantly called me pretty and beautiful. He even lifted me up and carried me several times. He was just so so so kind and courteous. <3 We were constantly holding hands and we were so comfortable around each other so fast. He even kept forcing me to wear his jacket, even though I wasn't all that cold.

His dad is mean to him. Travis can't even get his drivers license or a job because he has to stay home and take care of his mentally handicapped sister. I drive us everywhere we go. He lives in the middle of nowhere in the woods 20 minutes from where I live here in town.
When were together we constantly make every second together count. He has told me I was the best thing to happen to him in years. That made my heart melt. ^-^
Next year, in May, when he turns 18 he will move in with me and get away from that dreaded house and that unfit father. He will no longer have to deal with him and he will never have to see his mother again. I will finish my last year in high school while he works, then I will go to College. In the first or second year in College we will get an apartment together. We have already told each other we want to marry one another and have kids.
So there you have it! That is our long love story. The moral? High school love IS real love. Even having the worst life and not having anything to your name, someone will still be madly in love with you. I wouldn't care if he was broke and incredibly poor, I am so in love with him it doesn't matter.
OMIGOSH that's so sweet... but I still don't want to grow up and get mushy like that...

I really don't know how to respond. We haven't talked in about.... 2 months?
Advice on what to say to him please?
