Visions

A man was on his knees over a corpse of a woman, he was breathing heavily and shakilly. His arms where covered with the blood of the woman and where spread out at his sides. He suddenly turned and looked over his shoulder, it was too dark to see his face but all that Lily could make out was his glowing white yellow eyes and blood dripping out of his mouth. Lily sat straight up in her bed with panic spread across her face. She sighed and though 'That dream again, why do I keep having dreams of that creepy guy? Why would an average 16 year old like me have those weird dreams?' Lily rubbed her eyes and looked at the clock '1:17...Mom should be home any minute.'
"Lily! I'm home, and I want you to meet someone." Lily smirked, 'There she is now.' She climbed out of her bed and started heading downstairs. She stopped halfway down the stairs and looked across the room at her mom who was standing at the doorway with some man. Her mom, Alice, smiled and said," Honey, this is Ryan. He's the guy I've been telling you about." Lily nodded towards Ryan," Nice to meet you Ryan. Mom, I'm going to go back to bed. Night." "Night honey!"
Lily turned and walked back into her room and laid down in her bed, she curled up in a ball and fell back asleep quickly.
***
Over the next couple of days Lily kept having the dream about the guy with the white yellow eyes, but each time the victim was a different woman. She also got to get to know Ryan better, her mom seemed to be head over heels in love with him, but Lily didn't like him for some reason. He let out a bad vibe to her...Like he was evil or something, but he seemed like a really nice guy.
Ryan made them breakfast every morning, helped Lily with her homework, and most importantly made Alice happier. Lily decided to annoy the weird vibe though off of him because of those reasons. She had fallen asleep and she started to have that really weird dream again. She woke up in a panic and then heard a noise Plip. Plop. Plip. Plop.. She turned and looked towards the noise and saw three of the girls from her dreams standing there in her room, bleeding from multiple areas. One of the girls stepped forewards leaving a small trail of blood behind her and she wispered," Please...Run...Before anything happens to you or your family...He'll kill you...Run..."
Lily started crying in fear and she took a good look at the girls. The one closest to her had multiple holes the width of an index finder through her body and was missing both of her ears and nose, the one to her left was missing a hand and chuncks of her hair was gone, the one to her right though was scariest...Her eyes where missing and so was the skin on her arms, and there was thing though that all three of them had in common...All of them had huges holes in their chest from where there hearts should be.
Lily couldn't take it anymore, she screamed loudly and at that moment Alice and Ryan burst into her room and the three girls disapeared. " Honey, what's wrong?" Lily was balling her eyes out and said shakily," M-m-mom. There w-where three girls, a-around your age, s-s-s-standing by my bed. They where practically ripped in pieces a-a-and they where bleeding all over the place. Th-th-they're trying to warn me about what happened to them mom." Alice hugged her and Ryan had a shocked look on his face and they both comforted her until she fell back asleep.
***
For the next six days Lily would have her night mare and wake up with those three girls every night. After two days she'd gotten used to it, but it stil scared her. One night Ryan and Alice where out on a date and Lily had fallen asleep while watching a movie and started having a really weird dream.
There was a woman walking through the park with a man, instantly from seeing the back of his head Lily knew it was the man with white yelow eyes. They turned and looked at each other and the woman said, " I had a great night tonight." he man stroked some hair behind her ear and said, " I did too." Lily couldn't see what they looked like so she stepped closer and gasped seeing who it was......It was Ryan and Alice. Ryan looked down at the ground and said," Alice..." "Yes?" "I'm sorry." Before Alice could respond he looked up and his eyes where now white yellow. Alice opened her moth to scream but Ryan quickly covered it with one hand and held her up in the air. He quickly broke her jaw and then threw her on the ground, he pounced ontop of her but he did't look that much like Ryan anymore...He was now super pale, had long sharp nails, pointed teeth, his white yellow eyes, he truely looked like a monster. He start scratching her up with his nails causing her to bleed badly and he made a huge gash i her neck. He then leaned down and wispered," Do you stil love me Alice?" Fear grew in her eyes and he smirked," Oh well, if you don't love me anymore then you don't need this." He then ripped a hole into her chest where her heart was and tore it out. Alice then laid there dead, with a blank expression on her face as Ryan ate her heart, he then stayed kneeling over her and her dream ended like all her other nightmares.
Lily woke up paniced and got up off the couch, instead of the three girls being there, it was just the one that talked to her. The woman spoke up and wispered," Save her...He's a monster...He'll eat her heart...You don't have much time..." Lily nodded and ran into her mom's room and dug through her drowers and grabbed her gun. She loaded it and then left the house to the park.
***
Lily got to the park right when Ryan told Alice he was sorry, Lily pointed her gun at him and growled," Don't. You. Dare." Ryan chuckled evily and turned too Lily. "So you finally figured it out?" " Yeah I did now leave and don't come back, or I'll shoot." Ryan laughed and hunched over. When he came back up he was in his monsterous form and Alice gasped. He cocked his head at Lily and said," You really wouldn't shoot me." "Yes I would." He then took one step foreward and Lily fired 3 times at him.
Ryan collapsed to the ground bleeding and Lily and Alice ran off back to their house.
***
The next to days went along fine, Lily told her mom about everything and Alice was very thankfull. Lily also stopped having her bad dreams and the girls didn't come anymore either. Lily one night was sleeping, and she woke up to a noise Plip. Plop. Plip. Plop.Lily sat up and saw the three girls standing there. The one had a single tear streaming down her face and she said," We tried to warn you...But you didn't listen to part of what we were saying." Lily's eyes grew in fear," What?"
Then she Felt an arm snake forcefully over her mouth while the other held her arms together.
" Did you miss me Lily?"

((Made the text a lot smaller, due to the size. xD))

Out of all the stories I've read here, this has to be my favourite.. o -o

I totally thought of a Heartless when you mentioned the yellow eyes and in the vision where he ate Alice's heart.. ¬.¬
So.... If Alice had said she still loved him.. He wouldn't have eaten her heart? o 3o

Lady Fortune - it doesn't matter if it's predictable, it was still great. ;3

Molly was a blond curly haired 3 year old girl with big blue eyes. One day, in her daycare, the teachers revealed that they were having a play, and Molly was to be the princess. Molly was very happy, and immediately told her father. She knew her mother wouldn't have time. "Okay, sugarplum, I'll come." Molly's father promised. Molly beamed and went to practice her lines.

A few days later, it was the hour before Molly's play. Molly was nervous. This was the time that parents were supposed to come. Had her father forgotten that her play was today?

A few miles away, Molly's father realized what time it was. "OH shoot," he said,"It's 5:30 already. I've got to get over there. Now."

But Molly was crying, she had been waiting so long, and suddenly, the teachers came out from behind the stage, as zombies, of some sort. Molly screamed, and she tried to run. Molly was soon caught though, and she saw what had caused the teachers to become zombies. The water they had been drinking. Infected. The food. Infected. The children. Infected. But as the zombies slowly turned her into a zombie, she didn't blame the teachers for drinknig that water, for eating that food, for touching those children. Molly thought of the most negative things, and thought of her father. It was him. He had not come early enough to save her.

Molly's father burst into the play room, and saw Molly and the teachers slowly crawl towards him, and he heard the door lock behind him. "Father...Why...Didn't...You...Come..." hissed Molly, dressed beautifully in her red glitter dress. Molly crawled towards him, and Molly's father heard himself scream...

This is called horror call

Annie went to the heartford's house to babysit there baby boy camdyn. She was 15 and camdyn was 2. It was late and camdyn was upstairs sleeping while Annie watched the news. Suddenly the phone rang. Annie answered, "Hello?"
the voice on the other end was raspy, "where's the baby Annie? You shouldn't leave him alone when there's a killer on the loose! I'm coming for you!" the voice cackled. Annie screamed and ran up to baby camdyn.

He was alright. Annie sighed and brought the baby down stairs with her. She called the police and they instructed her to lock all the doors and turn on all the lights until they got there. Annie had just finished locking everything up when the phone rang again. She thought it was camdyn's parents but she answered to "I'm getting closer!"

Annie hung up and called the cops. They told her to stay calm and hide somewhere with no windows. Annie took baby camdyn into a closest. The phone rang. She didn't answer. The answering machine came on, it was the police, "Annie! get out now! the calls have been coming from inside the house! get out get out!"

When the cops arrived they found baby camdyn and annie dead in the closest, a phone bleeped next to them, "I gotcha ya!"

Here is one I wrote myself. It's kind of long. Warning, it has lots of blood in the ending.

Erin regretted wearing her roller skates in the house. She was having so much fun until she slipped on the wood floor. She had banged her head against the wall, cracking her skull. Now she was in the hospital, missing school for about a week. The make up work would be dreadful; she hated school enough as it was.
On the bright side there was Sarah, another girl about her age. She was the sweetest person Erin ever met. All she would say when Erin would ask what she was there for is that she had an accident similar to Erin's. She wouldn't say any more than that.
"Why do you hate school so much?" Sarah asked.
"I hate learning in general, I'm only good in Athletics, and our choir teacher sounds like a squirrel." Erin replied.
"I only like art class. Everyone thinks I'm a weirdo so I don't like it much either. This one group is especially nasty. They're the reason I'm here, though they lie so well they get away with it."
"That sucks, dude."
"I know. I want revenge so bad. I brought my sketchbook to distract myself, but it won't work."
"Could I see it?"
"Sure, just a second."
Sarah reached down and pulled up a worn out book with a leather cover. The pages were frayed. It was obviously loved.
Erin looked through it with the utmost care, being careful not to damage the worn pages. Her drawings were good!
"Man, I could never do something like this!" Erin exclaimed. Sarah grinned.
Erin got to the middle of the book, where the last drawing was. It was kind of creepy. It was a silhouette of another girl crouched down, staring at her. A small light caught the edge of her maid-like dress, making it shine purple on the edge of the skirt. Her face is what surprised Erin. It was all black with glowing red eyes visible, but there were little red streaks blending in with the black.
"Uh, Sarah?" Erin asked.
"Oh, that drawing. I don't know why I made it. Does it freak you out?"
"Eh, kind of. Is that blood on her face? And why is it black?"
"Yes, it is. t's black because she well... got hurt."
"Ah, I see."
"I probably shouldn't have drawn it, but I felt like it for whatever reason."
"It's pretty cool, actually! I love all that creepy stuff."
"Those nasty people I told you about saw that drawing and called me a freak. I don't care, it's my art."
"You should draw whatever you feel like, just ignore them."
***
"Sarah! You've got visitors!" the nurse called.
Who the heck would come visit at nine o'clock? Erin wondered.
"Who is it? Mom and dad?"
"No, some kids who say the know you from school,"
Erin got out of bed and walked over to Sarah's bed. She sat down beside her, just in case it was the nasty group. She felt all protective all of a sudden.
"Uh, okay..." Sarah sighed.
"Right this way," she heard the nurse say outside the room.
"Who the heck would come visit me?" Sarah wondered, looking at Erin.
"I don't know, but they better not try to harass you..." Erin growled.
"Jeez, girl!" Sarah laughed. "What are you all protective for all of a sudden?"
A group of five kids, three boys and two girls, walked in. They didn't look particularly comfortable. Sarah grabbed Erin's hand, her eyes getting big.
"Gee, we're sorry it went this far," said a girl.
"What the heck are YOU guys doing here?" Sarah cried.
"Thought we'd give you some of the stuff you missed," a boy replied.
"Is your new friend a freak, too?" asked the other girl.
"Leave her alone!" Erin growled, springing up.
"Or what? You'll beat us up?" another boy challenged.
"Erin..." Sarah said before burying her face in her hands and sobbing.
"Oh, look! She's crying!" the first girl laughed.
"What a wuss," said the other boy.
"Erin, don't look!" Sarah said, drying her eyes.
"What?" Erin said confusedly. The other five were clueless as well.
Sarah glared up at them, releasing Erin's arm. She buried her face in her hands again before saying, "Erin, I'm sorry I never told you, but I'm that kid in the drawing." she sobbed.
Erin's eyes grew huge as Sarah took her hands away, revealing the girl's face from the drawing. The other five stared in shock as blood ran down her cheeks, dripping onto the covers. Sarah got up out of the bed, looking exactly like the girl in the drawing, except she wasn't a silhouette. A huge slash ran across her forehead, from which blood poured out of. She produced a knife from under her skirt pocket, blood dripping from it.
The group backed up, looking shocked. Slowly Sarah advanced on them, the went crazy with her knife. She slashed at the five, leaving a pool of blood under their bodies. She turned back to Erin and wept, "Erin, I'm sorry..."
***
It was all over the news the next day, how the five had been slashed up so bad, but no one could figure out what happened. When Erin was asked what she saw, she replied she saw nothing. Sarah couldn't remember a thing.
"Erin, what happened?" she asked sleepily, just waking up. "I can't remember a thing..."
"Nothing happened. We were both asleep." Erin lied.
Though she knew better.

Here's one called The Theater. It's not by me though.

Have you ever heard of an old PC game called “The Theater”? Yeah, I didn’t think so. Probably because many people say it doesn’t even exist. You see, The Theater is an old computer game released around the same time as Doom. Today, if you ever find it, it’s only available on crappy bootleg CD-ROMs, which, more often than naught don’t even actually contain the game. The actual legitimate copies that they say were released back in the day feature a blank cover with nothing but the sprite of what has since been named the ‘the Ticket-Taker’. He is simply a poorly drawn, pixelated Caucasian, bald man with large red lips wearing a red vest over a white shirt and black pants. He is completely emotionless, though some say that if you smash the disc his face is shown as angry the next time you look at the cover. But this is just dismissed as an urban myth. What is peculiar about The Theater, though, is that there is no developer named on the jewel case, nor a game description on the back. It is simply the Ticket-Taker on a white backdrop on both sides.

The game was initially known for its inability to install correctly. The installation process immediately locks up the computer when the user reaches the licensing agreement. Also strange about the licensing agreement for The Theater is that whenever the development studio is supposed to be named, the text is simply a blank line. Anyways, most people who have claimed to owning one of the original CDs say that they figured out how to install the game by simply rebooting their computer on the licensing agreement with the disc still inside. Then they are prompted to press ‘I AGREE’ on startup. Then they continue with the installation. The game then starts up without any introduction besides a main menu that is simply the sprite of a movie theater’s exterior on an empty city street. The title fades in and then the 3 menu buttons ‘NEW GAME, LOAD, OPTIONS’. Selecting OPTIONS immediately crashes the game to the desktop. LOAD is said not to function at all. Even if you do have a saved game, nothing happens when you press it. Thus, NEW GAME is the only working menu option.

Once it is selected you are in the first person view. You are standing in an empty movie theater lobby, with the exception of the Ticket-Taker standing in front of a dark hallway which one can only assume leads to the theaters themselves. There’s nothing to do but look at the poorly-drawn, mostly illegible movie posters or approach the Ticket-Taker. Once the player moves towards the Ticket-Taker a very low-quality sound clip plays saying “THANK YOU PLEASE ENJOY THE MOVIE” along with a speechbox saying the same thing. You then walk into the hallway and the screen fades to black and you’re back in the empty lobby and you do the exact thing again and again and again.

While this may sound like a really horrible game, a number of peculiar things occur as you continue to play it. The number of times that you have to continue into the hall after giving your ticket to the Ticket-Taker before the strange events happen is unknown. Most state that it’s completely random and could take anywhere from the first playthrough to the four hundredth. What happens, though, has deeply disturbed some players.

The first occurrence is when the player fades back in after walking into the hallway. This time they will notice the Ticket-Taker is completely absent. The player then, without any other options, decides to walk into the dark hallway. The sound clip and text box mentioned previously still play in the absence of the Ticket-Taker, but when the player walks into the hallways the screen does not fade out. It goes pitch black as they walk deeper into the hall, but the player’s footstep sound clip is still playing as they continue to push the up button on their keyboard. Those claiming to have played the original game report to have felt extremely uncomfortable walking down the hallway, anticipating the whole way something horrible happening. Well, eventually the player is unable to move forward. There is nothing for a few moments before a strange sprite that is described as ‘the Ticket-Taker but with a swirl for a face’ appears and stands before the player. The original players of the game say their bodies immediately froze up and their stomachs churned they saw this sprite (which has been appropriately named the ‘Swirly Head Man’). Nothing happens as the Swirly Head Man stands before them. Then suddenly a piercing screech plays as the game glitches out. This lasts for a few minutes, with the screeching being continuous. Then the player is abruptly returned to the lobby with all the sounds and graphics being as they should be.

The game continues normally for the next couple of ‘cycles’ of entering the hallway, with a couple of the original players claiming the Swirly Head Man would briefly appear and disappear in the corner of the screen as a brisk ‘yelp’ sound effect plays. Then, at some point after meeting the Swirly Head Man, the player sees the Ticket-Taker pacing back and forth (though there is no walking animation – the sprite’s limbs are completely static, so he just hops up and down slightly as a substitute) with his eyes being wide and his mouth open to simulate a worried facial expression. Some players noted that the movie posters had been replaced with images of the Swirly Head Man, which caused them to immediately turn their character’s head away from the posters and approach the Ticket-Taker. Then another, different, low-quality sound clip plays, but the speech box contains nothing but corrupted characters that cause whatever text that would have been in the box to be completely illegible. Due to the extremely low quality of the sound, it is debated by players what exactly the Ticket-Taker says at this point, though it is widely agreed that he says ‘NEVER REACH THE OTHER LEVELS’. Then the screen fades out once again and returns the player back to their starting point in the lobby, but the Ticket-Taker is gone and the hallway is blocked by a large brick wall sprite. Touching the brick wall will immediately crash the game. And that’s all there is to it. No one knows what the ‘Other Levels’ are or how to gain access to them, nor is it known why the Swirly Head Man causes such acute fear in those who have seen him in the game. All the original copies of The Theater have either been lost or destroyed. But the creepiest part is the fact that is that all the original players of the game claim to occasionally see a brief glimpse of the Swirly Head Man out of the corner of their eyes…

Is that a true story? Is "The Theater" a real game?
Speaking of cursed video games, has anyone heard of the Lavender Town syndrome? It's creepy, and you can find it all over the internet.
