*NOTE* This does NOT mean that you only have to draw humans, there are plenty of animals in Harry Potter, such as Hedwig the owl, Fang (Hagrid's dog), Fluffy, Buckbeak, Norbert the Dragon, Crookshanks, Sirius as his animagus, Fawkes the Phoenix and (of course) the patronus' of various characters, so don't stress if you really want to enter but can't draw people ; )

I have decided that I need some more art of my favourite Harry Potter Characters So I have made a competition!

I have been kind enough to highlight/bold all the main points, so I suggest you particularly read those, although it is preferable that you read everything

I may increase the prizes at any time 0____o

Now, onto the art
I want ORIGINAL drawings of my fav characters from the Harry Potter Series. (which means NO pre-made linearts)
I will award bonus points to group drawings, and I also like quotes from the books included.
My favourite characters are:
- Professor Severus Snape
- Professor Minerva McGonagoll
- Sirius Black
- Dobby
- Professor Albus Dumbledore
- Harry, Ron and Hermione
- Hagrid
- Hedwig
- Bellatrix Lestrange
- Neville Longbottom
- Luna Lovegood

- Draco Malfoy
- Voldemort
- Molly Weasly
- Fred and George Weasley
- Colin Creevey

That is in no particular order, but i do especially like Snape and Fred and George I am going to give the prizes to the best drawings, not based on the characters in the drawing. Also, you don't have to just choose characters from the list. I would really like a variety of the characters done, not a million drawings of the one...

Some ideas I have:
- Battle between Harry and Voldemort
- Colin Creevy taking photos of Harry
- Harry, Fred and George playing Quidditch
- Snape and Lily Potter
- Sirius and Harry hugging
- Dumbledore and Fawkes the phoenix
- Fred and George causing mischeif

I would like to see other drawings, not just the above ideas

Rules (We hate them, but we all need them so I don't get too many repeated questions):
1) Use whatever medium you like (lead pencil, photoshop, oekaki etc)
2) Multiple entries ARE accepted, and could give you a boost
3) NO using previously made linearts; I want 100% original art
4) NO 5 minute doodles just to get a rare
5) You may use refs for ANATOMY ONLY, no heavy referencing

Competition will probably close on the 10th of October, unless I feel the need to extend it
I judge all entries based on quality, quantity, creativity & skill. ^^

Hedwig is on my favourite characters list If you like drawing animals you could draw Fawkes the Phoenix, Errol the Owl, Scabbers the Rat, Buckbeak, McGonagoll or Sirius in the Animagus form or a patronus?

I'll try to draw something, but unfortunately I don't know if I will have enough time.
I'd like only to know what style do you prefer? You would like more realistic or animated? Characters looking exactly like in movie or my own vision of them?
