Rogue looked sadly at Nightsplash than nodded at Hawksky and headed out the entrance and the border,"its not his fault you know." she said over her shoulder.

"I know that, but he doesn't," replied Hawksky. "Besides, he's just become a warrior about a quarter moon ago. This has to be hard on him. We didn't have any major battles while he was in training. He's not used to warrior's dying like that." Hawksky shook his head and continued forward. After a little while, he fell into step with Rogue. "I've been wondering something..." he began.

Rogue looked expectantly at him,"continue?" she laughed walking beside him like she was meant to be there all along.

"Well, I don't want to sound insulting, so please don't be offended, but I was wondering about your name," he said, tilting his head. "I mean, were you ever a rogue? Did your mother just name you that? Like I said, please don't be offended, I was just curious. You don't even have to answer." He looked down, kind of getting mad at himself for asking.

Rogue laughed than licked him lovingly," yes i was a rouge, when i was a kit i was in a clan called Bloodclan, my father its leader and my mom the medicine cat, it was forbidden love, when my mom told my father she was going to have a kit he grew angry and banned her, she died in childbirth, a old loner took me in and named me, he died a couple days before i joined here." she said a prayer to starclan than went silent.

Hawksky nodded and licked her shoulder. "Did you ever think of changing it? Doesn't it remind you too much of the past?" he asked, concerned it might be bothering her.

Rouge thought about it than said," Rivet gave it to me and up till his death we had great times, so it reminds me of the good days and yes i grow sad thinking of him passing away but he told me-Rouge even as i go to Starclan now do not mourn my little Rouge your destiny is bright- i dont know...does my name bother you?"

Ebonyclaw slunk into the forest. She picked up some stronge scents of squirrel so she decided to follow them. She followed it until she could see them, then she began to stalk. She drifted across the ground slowly, eyes focused on her unfortunate victim. She bunched her muscles and leaped, landing on the squirrel. She killed it and buiried it under some roots, then she stood.

The two elders walked back to camp. They noticed that Flickerheart and Mosspaw were gone, probably hunting or training. They say them coming back and Flickerheart leaned against Kinkfur. Mosspaw went looking for Forestpaw to tell her all about training.
