Winterstar smiled and nuzzled Goldenheart's cheek softly, like a mother would to her kits. "Goldenheart, you'll always be one of the she-cats I'm the most proud of. I don't deserve this kind of praise." She purred, getting just a bit teared up. They had two very different stories, but she had always kept watch over Golden...kit.

"Yes you do! I wouldnt be here. Those four wouldnt either Winterstar. Think about it: You saved me and those little kits lives. And youll always be my mother to me. Thats why I want you to be these kits god mother. Because, if something hppens, I know you and Rainstep will take care of them." She smiled a tear trickling down her cheek. She was so happy.

Foxkit and Mintkit looked at their father for help.

Frostkit looked up at winterstar amazement "I'm frostkit!" he meowed proudly his off white fur with orange lynx marking fluffed up In self pride

Claykit just looked up at winterstar with big blue eyes and coward away behind his mum

"don't talk about death" rainstep meowed softly "right now we are celebrating life! The life of our kits!" he purred and licked her cheek lovingly

"I know. But Winterstar deserves all of this." She purred back and smiled at Winterstaras she licked Rainstep back.

Mintkit smiled at Winsterstar. "Are you my grandma? Are you mommy's mother?" She asked batting her beautiful ice blue eyes that matched her pure white fur.

Foxkit smiled at his dad, looking exactly like his mom. He had glistening golden fur with lime green eyes. Just like his mother. He then turned around to look at Winterstar. "Well? Are you?" He asked curiously.

"no i think she's Raistep's momma! look! she has gray fur like him!" Frostkit meowed

Frostkit looked up at his mum 'what?" he asked wondering what he had said to make her laugh

Rainstep chuckled softly "no, she's not my mum" he purred "she's not really Your mum's either" he meowed

Darkstone looked at the sky and a shiver ran through his spine and he stayed close to marchfur "i-iam I going to die?" He asked himself and then felt a cold breeze and he hissed
