Rockpaw skidded to a stop and turned around. He padded back to Darkstar. "So where is it?" He motioned with his tail to where he thought it was. "Is it in all those ferns and brambles there that I jumped over?"
"Yes. Come look" Darkstar turned around and trots over to the log. She uncovered the log. "Its very weak, if you would have jumped on it, it would have cracked."

"Then why don't we just tear it apart so no cat trips over it or runs into it?" Rockpaw ventured. "Wouldn't that make things easier?" His gaze swept over the log. "Why keep it covered?"
Rockpaw shook his head. "We should at least uncover it. It shouldn't be that hard..." He flicked his tail and looked again at his leader. "Do you want to?"
Rockpaw's jaw dropped but he quickly closed it. "Wow." It was all he could think of to say. "He shook his head and snapped out of it. "Er, yes. Let's go train..." He turned and started toward the training hollow.
