Captain Snorts, he didn't actually remember where he had come from, he just followed his tummy to food. He knew that he had gone through the woods for a brief amount of time... but he couldn't exactly remember for how long or even in what direction. He changed his mind "um... well if you'd like we can do what you want to do for a bit. I really would like to take a short nap, but I am always open for going to the beach." He trotted over to the lake and drank a little watching as his reflection changed shape in the water.

Jags shook her mane and grazed, she didn't answer. "I dont care..." she mumbled.

Thinking the two horses didn't see him from under the trees, Whit stepped into the light and whinnied ouy again. "Hello! I believe I saw you on the beach" He said to the white stallion, who Whit believed was Captain.
"And I was wondering if I could at least stay with you...only until I find my family" Feeling dumb for asking, Whit braced himself for the no that was most likely to come.

More stallions.... Jags thought and nodded as she grazed, she sighed and looked around.

Seeing the mare look at him a funny way, he realized she may think he is only after a mare. Whit bravely takes a step towards her "I only cone for help. The hurricane that came separated me....and my sister. Only a week old, the shadow of my mom" He felt tears coming, but didn't tell of what happened. "All I want is to get back to the Northern Meadows. If you know how to get their, do tell"

[apathy,]

"I dunno.... how..." she said not looking at the stallion, she grazed, picking flowers and eating them.

"Would you like to find out how?" Whit replied with a snort, becoming a bit frustrated with the mare's disinterest, but he sighed, realizing he hardly knew her. His voice dropped the angry tone "Look, can you at least tell me your name?"

Jags pinned her ears to her skull as his voice became angry. "Jagger" she snorted walking away towards the lake and drinking some water.

"Wait!" Whit whinnied as Jagger walked away "Please wait..." But of course she didn't. Whit hung his head in sadness, wanting to kick himself at angering such a pretty mare (Oh my, do I sense a love interest? Lol) "Ugh, I can't ever say the right thing..."

Captain pranced towards the newcomer "Just ignore Jags, if you leave her alone she'll leave you alone. You look familiar but I can't place where. Whats your name? My names Captain, and if you would like we can race up and down the beach! I love to race!"

Whit lifted his head, and saw a great grey stallion. "Hmm. Weren't you running down the beach past me, just this morning?" He pricked his ears at the mention of racing. Whit himself was part racing horse, and though he was speedy, it was only in short sprints. He would love a good gallop, but after his encounter with Jags..."Yeah, I guess a good gallop would be nice"
