Yes, all new members are accepted. :3

New Debate:

Is it okay for scientists to take wolves out of the forest to study them?

I don't think so. It would be very stressful for the wolf, and I would hate for lots of wolves to be traumatized. I say, if you want to study wild wolves, do field reaserch!

Hm.. That's a hard one. Well, you can't exactly tell them they can't without a reason. Unless the government said they can't. But if the Government gives them permission you can't stop 'em.
But I personally don't think it's right.
The wolf doesn't want to be taken out of it's hope to be studied, it really isn't fair on the wolf.
But I'm not sure. What do you think?

I don't think its right. If scientists wish to study a wolf, they should do it from a far, so they don't hurt or scare the wolf.

I disagree with taking wolves from their packs for research, but if research is absolutely nessisary for the ecosystem and the wolves' survival, I guess it's not too bad. But if studying the wolf for curiosity or research that isn't crucial to anything's survival, I think that scientists should ovbserve -but not touch- the wolves. If physical contact has to be made, they should do it with captive wolves.
