I think Kirk mostly doesn't let the doctor tell him what to do be cause McCoy is one of his besties, along with Spock.

Haha. I love how McCoy gets into arguments with Spock all teh time and always is like, "You green-blooded Vulcan!" or, "Are you out of your Vulcan mind?" It's so funny to see McCoy when he argues because he almost always loses the argument or becomes frustrated.
