"All I wanted was company, I thought that maybe since we are both out here alone we could be each others protection, until we find other horses, then we can split up if you'd like. I'd be more than happy to keep my distance, but for right now we both really need to have someone in case something was to happen." He backed up a few steps to make sure that he wasn't going to be bitten and dropped his head to eat, keeping an eye on her so that in case she decided to come toward him he could bolt and hopefully make it to the end of the lake before she would catch him.

"Mkay, Whatever" she said walking away towards the lake, she took a couple drinks and started to graze by it.

Captain was so happy she decided against biting him. Instead he decided to keep grazing to at least fill a little more of his stomach before he and the other horse were on their way onto more adventures. He grabbed a few more bites of the sweet grass and in a non threatening way he slowly approached the other horse again, stopping a few yards away to let her have her space. He whinnied to her "Um... you never told me your name, my name is Captain by the way. Also, how much longer do you want to stick around inland? The beach is my favorite area around!" he paused for a moment thinking.... "and I bet you'd be fun to race, i'm just about the best racer around, even though I have only had myself to race for a long time. Maybe some more horses will show up and we can race them also!"

This isn't going to work.... she thought, she sighed and looked at the stallion. "Umm... Jagger. Mkay," she was trying to be nice, he was young, she was to, but, she acted like an old horse. She was born into a breeding program, so she was bred constantly, and she never liked being around stallions. "So, where to" she said shaking her mane, still keeping cool. The Friesian flicked her tail at the flies, knowing spring was on its way, she hoped that the stallion would find other horses before she went into heat.

Captain Snorts, he didn't actually remember where he had come from, he just followed his tummy to food. He knew that he had gone through the woods for a brief amount of time... but he couldn't exactly remember for how long or even in what direction. He changed his mind "um... well if you'd like we can do what you want to do for a bit. I really would like to take a short nap, but I am always open for going to the beach." He trotted over to the lake and drank a little watching as his reflection changed shape in the water.

Whit dreamed for the whole afternoon in the shade of the palm tree. He finally woke up to the sound of a long whinny, and the beat of racing hooves. The bay awoke instantly, and clumsily got to his hooves, but by the time he trotted out to the beach, the horse was far away, onto a rocky slope. Even though Whit was part Throughbred, he'd never been much of a racer. "Well, I'd better at least follow the horse" He muttered, and started off at a canter towards the rocks.
