Why has the pound not been open?

I'm sure a mod will just come lock this with a link to the rules or a different thread as they always do, so allow me to explain what I know.
They just randomly open it sometimes. You just have to wait for it. One reason they haven't opened it lately is probably because they've been busy with the "Medieval Faire" event and whatnot.
Anywho, there's your answer.

The pound is on a random timer. I have seen Tess say this before. She does not control when it goes off. I know it hasn't been open, but we just have to keep checking!

Like everyone has said, the pound opens at RANDOM. Plus, with the event, it's sometimes best not to open it since it would drain the server to a slow crawl.

The pound doesn't have to open everyday. It might even open for a week. XD But just keep checking back.

And When The pound opens, it will be loaded with pets from the medieval faire |D

And Like Ricorn said, It would make the server really slow, because it's the last day of the faire and yeah. XD
