And this is, hopefully, a rough first version off my rat event lines^^. As you can see it's not quite finished, but almost so. They need eyes aand some polishing, but I thought I should keep the lines simpler than the last event. More squishie.

For the pose, I hoped for some kind of 'You got my back, I got yours' kind of thing. A little bit of a pun I guess as I've never had a rat who didn't enjoy climbing up my back^^'.

TigressMin, if I put it up for a special event it'll likely be for real rats exclusively, but noting stopps me from colouring it in as CS rats at some other time^^.

Orange_Cirrus, I see. I don't think anyone but me is a fan of the pink squishie, I've never sold a single one^^'.

About the events, well, I'm not missing any pets so I could equally well have fun with side openings rather than stay closed all the time^^'.

ki-neko animura, not for the event. It's for rats. And guinnies aren't the back climbing kind of animal as far as I'm aware so there's a risk it'd look silly. To me it'd look like a tailless rat so I'd rather re-draw the entire thing. At some other time, perhaps, if I keep the lines to use for other things.

Howling in the Rain, hamstars can be a bit climby, can't they? My siblings had a hamster each and they liked climbing but they were so clumsy they almost always fell down. So we didn't allow them to climb very much^^'.

i ts not that I don't like the pink squishies, but they are just a little to squishie for me :s

The pink squishie is still up on the first page, but it doesn't have a thumbnail, just a link below the squishie thumbnails telling that it's another version of yellow.

I don't know why I never sold one, I like it and it was a quite popular lineart when I posted it in the CS fanart thread coloured as '08 advent dogs and their '10 copyrat advent counterparts.

All the oldest squishies, blue, purple, green and yellow/pink are living a bit dangerously at the moment. They all have the old type of lines that I don't enjoy using anymore. Pixed lines. The reason that all the old Linearts got swapped out. So I might take them all down soon. I might make new versions of some of them, but I might also just take them down.
