Whether anything I say below is rare or not, I don't know but feel like saying anyway.
I've no idea if this is deja-vu or being psychic or something, but many times I've dreamt about the events of the following day and because of that, I can remember them very vividly. Don't tell me I'm lying, I seem to have experienced the events twice. An example would be of about ten months ago or so. In my dream, it was dark, foggy and seemingly cold as I could 'see' my breath in front of my 'eyes' and my dad who was next to me was complaining. We were talking about killer unicorns (my sister and my dad came up with that. Don't ask any more.) and how this would be the time for them to come out etc.. It seemed to me in my dream that it was taking ages and that it was not getting any lighter. My legs were starting to hurt and I started complaining. Then I was woken up by my dad for school. After I'd got dressed and was ready, we got in the car and went the way we normally go. At the crossroads, we tried to turn the corner and slipped on some black ice on the road. My dad had just got it under control then we hit another patch and spun off into the ditch, nose first. We had to walk back, in the cold, dark, foggy morning, complaining all the way for two kilometres. And my dad started talking about killer unicorns... That really did frighten me, and still does.
I'm gonna be short too when I'm older. I'm going to be like my mum and her older sister, most likely. I'm the eldest in my family and my aunt is shorter than my mum, her little sister. She's 5'1 and my mum's 5'3. Not too surprising when I have to look up to see a friend of mine who's a year younger than me.
I always have music playing at night when I 'try' to get some sleep, and during that time, I read. A lot. So therefore, I associate the book, or a certain part of it to the song. And what's more is that the association never changes and I can always remember it. For example, the song Red Blooded Woman by Kylie Minogue, for me, is associated with the Series Of Unfortunate Events by Lemony Snicket. Every time I listen to the song, I think of the book. Every time I read the book, I think of the song.
What I often do after reading a book and then falling asleep is dreaming about what might come next, making my own ending to the story. Although, most of the time, I can only remember it for a few days before forgetting it. I also make up my own stories with some of my favourite characters, like plonking them into the world of another book. I did that recently with Susan, Terry Pratchett's character from his Discworld series (she's just so awesome, what with stopping time and walking through walls <3) and by dropping her into the world of Septimus Heap, by Angie Sage.
All in all, I never cease to amaze myself.
