The Ethiopian Wolf is currently the most endangered canid. As in, of the entire canine family, the Ethiopian Wolf is the rarest, with only seven populations remaining, and roughly 500 adults. {source}
The African Wild Dog, also known as the African Painted Dog, is also one of Africa's most endangered canids. More information on them can be found here.

Not to be rude or anything, but the real most endangered canine is the mexican wolf, with only 52 wolves left, they are excitnt in wild. Anyway, both situations are so sad :"( I really love this beautiful creatures. Please dont let the howl stop!

Anyway, back to the topic.
I think it's really awful how there are so many wolves that are becoming endangered. x_x
But yeah, I agree. I don't think that grey wolves are totally endangered at the moment, but I don't know.
Also, possibly tomorrow I might be going to New Forest Wildlife Park, and it said on the leaflet there would be wolves, so I'm pretty excited. As I haven't actually seen wolves in zoos from what I recall, so it's a first. ^^ I hope that the enclosure(sp?) that they keep the wolves in is good. :3 I'm so excited. 8D

where i live has no wolves other than the zoo.all the forests have been cleared out but when i go to my grandmas house she lives by a mountain with a forest.one time a wolf saw her dog then the wolf stopped and walked away.but i did not see it my grandpa just told me
