Tasmanian wolves, also known as Tasmanian tigers or, most commonly, thylacines, I believe, are not wolves. They're in their own separate genus, Thylacinus. ^^

I think I've heard of the Rocky Mountain wolf before, but I'm not so sure. ^^
I don't really hear much of the Russian Wolf though, they're really pretty. ^^
