How long on CS: Maybe a day or two
Do you like CS: It's kind of confusing....
Do you know what you are doing on CS: Not really
Any Questions: I find I have no idea of value and I don't know if I have been cheated, how do you tell?
Welcome to ChickenSmoothie! It can understandably be confusing at first. For starters though, be sure to read the
Site and Forum rules. The Help section also helps out for explaining a few things (one of the big things being the Oekaki). After that, I'd suggest reading these threads:
Tips For New PlayersMust-Read Topics For NewbiesNewbies Click HereThey'll help you along your way in starting a collection on ChickenSmoothie. ^^ As for your question about value, it does take time to learn what's more rare than what. The main point to take in is that older pets are more valueable than newer pets (so a rare is not always fair for another rare). Dogs, horses, and cats are more valuable than things like rats, spiders, or fish. As for the other things to take in (supply and demand, etc.) that's something you kind of learn through being on CS for a bit.
However, thankfully, there is a handy thread called the
Is This A Fair Trade Thread! Be sure to read the first post though since it has some rules. ;3 I would also suggest you make sure to get opinions from users from 2008 or 2009 (sometimes 2010). Lately, although some won't admit, there has been a lot of users trying to help out. It's fine, but they don't know their rarities so you may be given false information. Therefore, it's good to either get opinions from older members or get lots of opinions.
Lastly, for anything you might have questions on,
The Guide Index is a handy thread that has links to a lot of guides. There's tips on trading, unofficial pet names, and the like. ^^ If you need any more help, have any questions, or have trouble understanding anything please don't hesitate to ask!
