DONE.

Hello , Mavrila; means blackness. She prefers Mav, as she dislikes her full name.
Gender , Female. ♀
Age , Seventeen.
Tribe , Wolf.
Appearance , Mav is a rather tall girl, though many of the males of her tribe still stand taller than her. She has a fairly light build, seeming fragile at first glance, but she is much stronger than she looks. For practicality's sake, she keeps her hair quite short, the tips reaching just past her shoulders. She usually pulls it back in a ponytail or braid of some sort. Her hair is jet black color, shimmering to a silvery or gray look under bright light. Her eyes are a deep blue color, becoming lighter in the center of the iris, threaded through with strands of silver. Another band of dark blue surrounds her pupil, giving it a darker look. In darkness, her eyes seem to give a rather luminescent look, especially beside her black locks. Her skin is rather pale and fair, burning easily rather than tanning. Her wolf form is similar, with a jet black pelt and the same blue eyes.
As far as attire goes, Mav prefers to wear something comfortable or practical, never one to really care about appearance. Any pair of pants will do, preferably with a hole torn in each knee and a few paint splatters here and there. She wears a simple shirt crafted from animal skins and furs, like most people of her Tribe.
As for Mav's mask, it's something she's rather proud of. The mask's background is black, like her hair and fur, with the black ears poking off the sides. The eyes remain blue, like her own, seeming to hold many feelings, everything from aggression to happiness to pain. Thick, light blue lines start at the the outer corners of the eyes, curving around slightly and touching the mask's bottom, as if they were tears. Another line, this one green, curls from the inner corners of the eyes, sweeping around over the top of the eye. Three dots are underneath this line. A splash of red is where the mouth should be, looking like blood. Two small, red hand prints are painted on the mask's cheeks, also having a bloody appearance.

Personality , Mav can be very hard to understand. She doesn't trust or make friends very easily, so getting to know her can be hard. To most, she appears to be just mean, snapping and yelling at people. She treasures her pride, and is extremely competitive, never one to turn down a challenge. She has many violent tendencies, hurting anyone who insults or threatens her in anyway. She isn't afraid to tell someone off or put them in their place. She also has a strong sense of right and wrong and goes with her gut feelings. If you do actually manage to work her down to her softer side, she's actually pretty fun to be around. She has a good sense of humor, and while she is still competitive, it's more of a playful competition. She is fiercely loyal and protective of those she loves, so threatening her friends may be a bad idea. As far as love goes, it takes her a while to warm up to someone and let them in, to actually love her and for her to love them. But when she finally does love someone, she loves with all her heart.

History , Mav's parents died when she was quite young, about four or five years old. Her mother became horribly ill, and was unable to be cured. Her father stayed with her every moment, so Mav wandered off on her own, playing with other young wolves her age and receiving bits of training. Her mother died eventually, and with spending so much time with her, her father had contracted the disease. At first, Mav didn't understand, and thought her parents were okay. But when news of her father's death came, she broke down. For a long time, she didn't do anything, but eventually some of the Tribe's females pulled her out of it and got her back on track. But she was never the same. She didn't laugh anymore, she didn't spend time with any of the other children. She trained for hours, and when one of the more experienced warriors wouldn't train with her, she went off on her own. She became a very fierce fighter this way. When she was fourteen, she heard another wolf her age bad-mouthing her parents, and she went berserk and attacked them. She would've killed the kid if someone hadn't pulled her off. She was punished severely for it, but other members of the Tribe were still wary of her.

Example ,
Mav sits at the base of a tree, shaving wood off a stick. Thumb pressed against the blade, she pushes it across the stick's surface, watching as the wood curls and falls to the ground. It joins the pile of shavings sitting beside her. Voices carry on the wind over to her, nothing but a faint murmur in the background. Satisfied with the stick's sharp point, she rests it on the ground, resting her head back against the tree's trunk. Her ears twitch slightly as some of the words start to come into focus.
"... how she died?" one boy asks, and Mav stiffens slightly. Who? Moving closer, she perks her ears up, straining to catch the rest of his words.
"No," another replies, and the boy laughs. "She got some disease, probably mucking around some place she shouldn't be."
A low growl rumbling in her chest, Mav continues to inch closer. Could he really be talking about her mother?
"And then the father died from the same disease. I mean, really? What a moron. If you spend that much time around a sick person, you're going to catch it," he finishes, and they all laugh.
A sudden, blinding rage sparks in Mav, filling her veins with liquid fire. How dare he even talk about her parents. With a roar of fury, she shifts into her wolf form, springing from her cover and lunging at him. Startled, he attempts to move, but she slams into him and knocks him down. Her teeth tear into his throat as he shifts forms as well, kicking at her and trying to knock her off, but she holds on tight. After a long moment of thrashing and squirming, he knocks her off, and she gives another angry roar.
He snarls, and she lunges again, but he stays on his feet. He snaps at her, but she ducks under him and latches onto his leg, clamping her jaws down around it.
"Stop it!" an older wolf bellows, wrenching Mav away from him. She continues to snarl and snap at him, and he limps away, glaring at her.

[Sorry for this piece of crap >3<]

Family , Her mother and father died when she was young.
Crush , None.
Mate , None.

(That isn't a piece of crap. You did a good job!
    Accepted!
I'm going to post this one post, and then wait until Rocket posts)

    / Rue /

Odell whimpered in protest, his ears flattening against his head as Jack told him about the fate of his finger if it fell off. "But... but... in a jar, it's just... not being used. On a Mask, it's-" he was cut off as Rose tugged one of his ears as a warning. "Geez Mom!" he whined, but Rose shook her head. "No fingers are going to be on your Mask." Rue leaned over with a sly grin. "No river stones either, Odell." The young boy stared at everyone, obviously feeling helpless underneath all the commands. "Anyway, I was meant to be carving." Jack finally said after cleaning his thumb, and Rue turned to Odell. "I was meant to be telling Odell how he can't be trained by me." she said, and Rose's tail twitched at the prospect. "Brother an' sister training together? Especially with the likes of you two? You'd arrive after the first day of training all black and blue, just from each other." she said, glancing around. "How about you go out and hunt with a patrol?" she asked the three, trying to get them on their feet, away from sitting around.

Jack tried not to sigh because he was always felt he should be polite around Rose. He finsihed a quick bit of absent-minded carving on the wood then looked up. "Your mum's right, let's go for a hunt and see what happens," he said, smiling though only a little. He knelt down and looked at Odell, and said quietly, "Bet you cant chop my finger off in the hunt," and his tone was of a daring perusuasion. He was trying, as he did so well, to come to some sort of compromise. Jack flicked Odell with his tail, "Come on," he said, "Hunting well is the first step to getting a wicked cool mask," he said, grinning, because in truth, if you couldn't hunt around here you weren't thought of all that highly, well, unless you had some other skill which would magically benefit the tribe. Jack thought a hunt might not be too bad, as long as Zylo wasn't going, or his sisters, but he knew they inevitably would be, as it was jsut his luck.

( wow! You guys really went foward this time XD Just please, don't let me too behind, okay? >: I really am busy with school and I'm helping out the prom )

It was a bit hard to see, but Blair continued to crawl and crawl on the trees like a spider, even using his wings as an extra arm. By the way, I haven't spoke about how Blair looked like, right? Well, he is a very androgynous boy about two years younger then me. Unlike the other members of the Raven Tribe, Blair's short hair is dark silver and he is almost half my height. He also wears dark red jackets and long black pants. His wings, like always, is completly black, but quite small and flexible, making them useful even for climbing through trees.

"I think we're close to them." Blair's voice interrupted my thoughts as I tried to keep up with him, but it was hard, as he moved swiftly like a snake, which I found it pretty hard to do the same when my wings were very large and heavy. "Slow down." I whispered this time, hoping that the strangers wouldn't hear us, but it would be a bit difficult as the dead trees couldn't stop making cracking noises.

We both split up, Blair was on the right side of the road, while I was on left and, if we were lucky, the strangers wouldn't found us because of the fog. Finally, I saw who these "strangers" were. I could recognize them from the Hawk Tribe, so they might had business in our Tribe or was just visiting a friend, but I doubted. Very few people would visit the Raven Tribe. It was two girls and one boy. Quite strange, if you ask me. Then again, what wasn't strange for me?

I heard a mumbling voice. It was Blair's. He was mumbling something, but I couldn't hear it right and I started to fear that he would blow our hiding place. However... The tree was not kind with me.

Suddenly, the tree branch where I was standing on couldn't handle my height any longer and finally broke. Oh, how I hated not being able to fly. It was the second time of that day where I fell. On my head. With luck, the tree was kind of small, so I didn't hurt too much, but that didn't bother me. What it bothered me is that I fell right in front of the strangers.

"Pffff! Hahaha!" I could hear a hysterical laugh coming from above. Blair was obviously making fun of me, which just made me more angrier and my urge to put him inside a stack of needles just increased. Blair then stopped laughing, as if he read my thoughts and didn't made another noise. I was thinking the possibility of him leaving me there in front of strangers, but that thought went away when I saw a shadow, glinding right above me. He was... Flying?!

Nope. He wasn't. If he was, he wouldn't have screamed the word 'spider' like a crazed dog and fall right on my back, making me return to the floor and kiss the ground again, stealing all the air inside my lungs. With luck, I didn't faint, but Blair looked like he did, as he didn't move and his wings trembled a little, before finally falling, making some black feathers glind gently on the foggy air.

    (Sorry 'bout that.
Being alone in a house, not having anything to do, can make one really bored.
So... I resort to writing a lot.)

    / Aella /

Freya and Aella had been amusing themselves with a little game of insulting each other, trying to best the other with stabbing insults. Tempest was ignoring them, finding that they were immature. Aella, so far, had been able to make up the best insults, and Freya was loosing poorly. "Well... you're... uh... you can't even fly!" Aella snorted at Freya's attempt to insult her. "NONE OF US CAN FLY." she said, flinging her arms out wide in exasperation. Freya frowned and Aella smiled. "My turn. You're so ugly, that all of the Tribes cast you out because of your face." Even though these things could be hurtful to others, it was perfectly normal to the two girls. Freya sighed, thinking hard. "Well, you're so girly, that you-" she was interrupted by a loud crack, and then the sound of rushing air, as something dark fell heavily on the ground in front of them. Aella stifled a small cry, but Freya followed her instincts and let out a shrilly-pitched scream. Aella almost instantly clapped a hand over her friends mouth. Tempest had done little but jump back in surprise. From the treetops came almost maniacal laughter, that then went quiet. Aella had already whipped out an arrow from her quiver and notched it to the bow that had been hanging on her back.

The Hawk girl stretched the bowstring to it's full length, aiming it at the mysterious figure that slumped in their way. Tempest made a warning noise, but then allowed Aella to keep the bow up, as it was only one person. No, make it two. Another figure was falling through the air as a shriek of 'spider' ripped through the air. Freya stared with awe as the figure who seemed to have dropped from the sky, landed flat on the first person. This all happened very fast, and Tempest had already unsheathed one of his hunting knives, holding it ready if there was the need to fight. Freya was never a talker to others, and would not at all sound threatening, so Aella stepped forward, her bowstring still pulled, and kept it aimed at the two people as she spoke. "Who are you, and why are you following us?" Aella barked, her Mask leering hauntingly at the two.

    / Rue /

Rue nodded. "Okay Mom. I promise I'll make sure Odell actually catches something this time!" she chirped, and Odell made to aim a swing at his sister, but Rose managed to pull back on his shirt collar, making him miss his target just narrowly. "No punching your sister while hunting." she reprimanded sternly, and Odell sighed, nodding dutifully. "Bet you can't chop my finger off in the hunt." Jack spoke to Odell, and Rue grinned. "Don't give him any ideas." But Odell was already retorting. "I can try to if you want." he told the older warrior. "No. There will be no chopping of or off any one's fingers." Rose spoke out again, acting just like the motherly sort. Odell made a whining face. "But Moooooommmm!" he whimpered, and Rose fixed him with a stern stare. "Yes mam." Odell said quickly, turning to hide his face. "Come on, hunting well is the first step to getting a wicked cool mask." Jack told Odell, and the young boy's spirits returned. "Okeedokee!" he said excitedly, and Rue, with a shake of her head, started to walk towards one of the exits to the fields, calling behind, "If you don't hurry up, I'll have caught all the prey before you've even moved an inch!"

( haha, don't worry about that xD And I agree with ya. )

I grumbled, trying to gasp for air after Blair fell on my back. When I noticed an arrow was pointing at my face, I quickly stood up, throwing Blair on the side like wasted garbage, making him mumbled the word 'spider' multiple times while scrathing himself and rolling on the floor. He might have seen a spider and was always scared of them. He probably jumped because of one. At any rate, after I stood up, I got irritated of having a weapon pointed at my face right at where I live and casually made the arrow point at a different direction. I opened my black wings, almost blocking the road and making a shadow. "I'm the one that should ask that." I said coldly, looking emontionless in front of those three demi-humans. "You're on Raven territory."
After I said that, Blair continued to mumble about how he hated spiders and was sobbing slightly. He then stood up and cleared his face now red and started staring at the male member from the Hawk Tribe "May I have a piggyback ride?" he asked innocently.

    (I love Blair's quirkiness xD)

    / Aella /

Aella passively let the boy turn her arrow away, but was tensed in case she should have to point it back at him. "I'm the one that should ask that. You're on Raven territory." the boy spoke as he stood up, spreading his pitch black wings. Aella gritted her teeth, seething inwardly for this boy blocking their path. "I thought that the Raven Tribe allowed passage through here. And besides, we were not following you, watching you, stalking you. It was the opposite as I recall." she spoke, her fingers tightening on the bowstring. "May I have a piggyback ride?" asked the other Raven Tribe boy to Tempest, and the older man stared down at the Raven Tribe boy with no emotion, as his mask blocked his face, but if Aella knew Tempest right, he was probably dreaming about giving the boy's bottom a good boot with his foot. Out of the corner of her eye, Aella noticed how Freya stifled a snicker at the Raven boy's question. Freya always saw the humor in things. Aella directed her eyesight back to the one who was blocking the path, hoping they could just get on with this.

((Mhm, I either write or read, and recently Harry Potter has been enticing me :D))

Jack grinned and sped after her. "Wait up, I'm going to pick up Autumn and Sycamore, they'd kill me if I didn't," he said. He knew his sisters didn't have the strength to kill him, but if they missed a hunt they would taunt him and torture him with insults, and, like they had done once before, chop his hair off and paint his nails in his sleep. He cringed at the thought, gave Rue a pat on the arm to let her know he'd be back, then sped off to the shack where his sisters were residing. Before he could even knock on the tatty door the two of them burst through, grinning broadly, "You're late Jack!" said Autumn, then Sycamore chimed in, "Very late," and glared at him, though still grinning. "Been with your girlfriend," said Autumn, making fake kissing noises. It was Jack's turn to glare now, "How many times-" but his sisters had already ran away and over to Rue.

(Hah. I love torturing my main characters with other random characters I just make up.
Like you with Jack and his sisters, and like me with Rue and Odell)

    / Rue /

"Wait up, I'm going to pick up Autumn and Sycamore. They'd kill me if I didn't." Jack told Rue, who nodded dutifully as Jack ran off into the camp. Odell trotted up to his sister, looking somewhat bored. Rose sighed off in the distance, but spoke just loud enough for her children to hear, before she walked away. "Jack, Autumn, Sycamore, Rue and Odell. Now that's a handful that I wouldn't want to be taking." she said, and Rue glanced over as her mother walked back to the lean-to. Rue's red-haired head looked up as Sycamore and Autumn ran towards her, obviously pleased with themselves. They were probably teasing Jack again about some unknown reason. "Hey Autumn, Sycamore." she greeted the two sisters, waiting for Jack to catch up before they went out to hunt. She didn't want anyone to get left behind.

I sighed after Blair asked a newly met stranger for a piggyback ride. What was on his head?? I slowly closed my wings after the other girl, that looked like the one in charge since she is the only one talking, spoke "Fine. You made a point. Pass." Blair then made a cry-baby face "B-But I didn't get my piggyback ride!" I sighed again and pressed my hand on my face "Blair, of all the... What's with you and piggyback rides all of sudden?" the silver haired boy seemed to have stopped for a moment to think for an answer. Then he finally said, smilling "Because I got a piggyback ride from our Tribe, from the Fox Tribe, the Wolf Tribe, but I haven't got one from the Hawk Tribe!" he stood in front of the strangers "Pleeeeeeease?" I placed my hand on Blair's shoulder and, with a weird calm, I slowly said "Blair... Don't worry. Soon you'll get a very awesome piggback ride." the boy's eyes shined as if he heard he gained the biggest prize anyone could get "R-Really?" I nodded "Sure. You'll get a piggyback ride from our ANCESTORS if you don't shut your trap and return to the village." after I brutely said that, Blair's expression quickly died like a tree losing all its leaves in a moments notice. "Ok..." he silently gazed at the floor and walked slowly on the path leading to the Raven's Tribe. He then stopped and looked back "Is it really that awesome?". For crying out loud... I closed my fists tight and looked at him, with an expression that could take away anyone's soul. The silver haired boy quickly understood and continued to walk, mumbling to himself "Alright, alright, I get it... Geez, I just asked a lil' question..."
