Ahadi panted and lapped up some water. He caught a few fish and ate them. He wondered if Amira and Selene had gotten into a fight.

Selene noticed Ahadi had left, she wished she could have followed. She ached physically and mentally, she waited for Sky but her mind strayed back to Ahadi. She looked at Amira, "Theo and Vixen....just let him sort things out." she sighed and licked her cubs. She laid down, "Do you love him?"

[Temperance.]

Amira's cubs by now had come to their mothers side and were peering at Selene's two cubs. Amira tilted her head and thoughtfully pondered Selene's question, "I think I do love him. He is the father of my cubs after all and I liked him from the moment I met him." she paused for a long moment and then spoke gently to Selene "Did you love him?"

Selene laughed, "First rouge or male for that matter that I ever willing mated with. I remember I hated him at first, thinking he would mate my sister who didn't like him. I remember I said I would personally cut his balls off if he touched her...that was funny...as for did I love him.....yes....I think I still do even though I shouldn't." she explained and groomed the white cubs.

[Temperance.]

Amira winced and looked sadly at Selene, softly she spoke "I'm so sorry, I never meant to harm any other lioness...I honestly didn't think that there was another lioness who loved him...I'm so, so sorry." she really meant it too. Snorting she looked with dry amusement at Selene, "Ahadi is going to have some answering to do when he gets back." she said. "My cubs are Vargen and Alana."

Ahadi stood shakily and padded quietly back towards the grasslands. His home. After he regained some of his strength, he could run but for now he walked slowly.

Selene chuckled, "He was a rouge, what do you expect?" she purred softly. She finally looked at her cubs, "They're beautiful." she admitted. She looked at her, "About that first part, I don't need your pity. Don't feel bad for me, not until I'm burning in H*ll." she stated before watching her cubs.

[Temperance.]

Amira grinned impishly "I don't pity you, I can just empathize." she grabbed Vargen and started grooming him, no-lion could accuse her of letting her cubs get dirty. "And yes, I understand that he's a rogue....but still." she said between licks. She eyed Selene's cubs "They are beautiful, your firsts?" she purred.

Ahadi picked up the pace and started running. He ran as fast as he possibly could until her saw the Great Rock in the distance. He stopped and laid down.

Selene shook her head, "Anything but...I've always seemed to get mated at least twice per season but hyenas, or rouge that want to mate me seem to find my cubs. Either that or they 're stillborn, I had two stillborn this little. Usually my cubs don't last this long."
