OOC: Mhm, them. I loved their powers... I might make another set of twins, a guy and a girl, with those powers, as if Sharissa and Ranette had never existed XD How do you know so much of all of the characters who were there long before you were here? o.o

BIC: "It is sort of amusing, is it not? Especially all of the immortals who are in school now who have been living for centuries. It makes you wonder why they even joined in the first place." Hecate laughed, glad that she had found someone who was making her laugh amid all of this sadness that surrounded them. "I can do that, and I can control them, too, up to a point." She wasn't going to mention to him that she had been practicing her powers to try to control hybrids better. Even now she still felt that tug of needing to use her powers. "Most likely. Would this whole place not make an excellent book?"

((Well, they did have pretty annoying powers.xD '*Poke* oops...I killed him. D=' He read the RP, remember? That must have taken forever.))

"There are substitutes made for you, you just prefer the rela thing. If you tried to act less like a superficial stereotype of a self absorbed brat, we wouldn't have much of a problem with you at all." NACU replied tonelessly, annoyed with the way the demon was acting. She had this thing about her that really made him want to fire that gun. "I doubt I can hold you to a promise. What's something I can be sure of with you?" He pointed out, guessing that she would probably break it right away if she wanted to attack the oracle.

Tamby nodded, standing close to the struggling boy before scrunching up her face in concentration. A shimmery bubble appeared around the two of them, looking thin but actually strong. "Now!" she yelled, not able to hold this long.

OOC: Dude, that must have o.o I wouldn't have had the patience to! I love the plot of this whole thing, though XD Psh, those powers were fun to RP! And once they had control of those powers, they would have been a huge help in the fight, right? :3 Everyone hates Aislyn because of that little something XD I've grown used to it, sadly.

BIC: "Well, who wouldn't? It's like eating tofu instead of real chicken! There's just no real comparison on the taste level." Aislyn rolled her eyes. If she had a dime for every time someone had insulted her, well... Yeah. She'd be really, really rich. Hearing him, a small smirk came over her face, but she quickly banished it. Now she would be very, very good at lying to him. "What do I actually care about enough that would hold me to a promise?" Suddenly, she froze, pretending to have an idea come over her. "What if I swear by Acton? Would that be good enough? It would probably be more than good enough." Her voice sounded rushed and sad, as if she didn't want to swear by him in case he would get hurt.

((And for wasting your time, we congradulate you Fall!xD It would, but thanks to Zarek they died. =D That poison killed Cricket too, right? And Leo? That angel must be ready to strangle him right about now.xD Speaking of which... what happened to him and Lia? Did I forget or did you?o_o))

"How does a soul even taste like anything? Something with no solid, gaseous, or liquid essence can nothave a flavor." NACU retorted, making a pretty good point on the scientific point of view. He sighed impatiently at her pretend game, trying to sound sad. "Honestly, that scene you two made barely half an hour ago dispproves anything you have to say about worrying over Acton. Don't play me for a fool. I could very well hold this here until Velius breaks free if I must, I certainly have the patience for it." Not that it would be a tactic move, but hey, Velius would be gone by the time the fighting started, right?

Saranu scooped up the little angel girl before he ran, unsure how fast she could possibly be, and was out the door before the roof had time to crash down after the shield stopped balancing it in the center. "Where did the others go?" He demanded, still holding her. He wouldn't put her down if he was going to go with her anyway, it would be much faster for him just to bring her along like this.

OOC: Yes, it took me very very long to read all that.

BIC: "Maybe they were bored, or never went before. If I was immortal and had skipped high school I'd come her." Shayne admitted. Maybe they were just here to meet other immortals, and there was that chance that some people wanted danger that coudl seriously be considered a threat to their lives. It wasn't unlikely, the way some of these people hated. "That's good... wait." before he could answer Hecate's question, a slow smile spread over Shayne's face. "The boy is a spider hybrid. You're a shaman. Catch my drift?"

OOC: Psh, he didn't waste his time. It must have been fun! And midnight, did you get my PM? I don't remember... Maybe just have Zarek say something to Lia? XD Oh, and is it possible for Hecate to control Zarek because he's a spider hybrid? :3 I'll continue that post once I know ^^

BIC: "Well, how would you know what it tastes like? Have you actually tried any? It's delicious." Aislyn laughed, finding this all completely amusing. After she heard the last thing he said, her eyes narrowed, and anger filled her again. "Look, idiot. What will it take for you to get this gun off of my back?" she snapped at him, wanting to be able to move freely. "If I attack Velius, how about you shoot me? That good enough? Swearing on myself? I personally think it is."

"Being immortal most likely would make someone bored. After all, they would have nothing to do for the rest of their lives." Hecate was listening to what he was saying, confused as to why he had suddenly stopped and was smiling. When she heard him, she grinned right back at him, wondering why she hadn't thought of that. "Well, let us see if it works. If it does, then our problems for right now are solved." She turned towards Zarek, focusing all of her power on him.

((Uh I think so... let me check again. Hm, that's a tricky one. Shaman's don't really use magic, they use a sort of willpower thing that connects them to animals, it's their instinct to listen to what she says. The pill thing he took probably wouldn't null that, no, but it would make it easier for him to snap back to his senses. Uh... okay?))

"No, but I know that a spiritual essence contains no form of substance or flavor and therefore, cannot have a taste to alter in the first place." NACU sighed, getting impatient with the girl. "If you attack Velius and I aim to shoot you my fire will likely hit him as well, or someone else in the crowd. There are too many people for me to fire a turret without being directly beside my target." He didn't appreaciate her snapping at him, but emotional conflict wasn't allowed to affect his judgement.

"So, Lia, is that all you can do?" Zarek wondered, amusing himself greatly by watching the frustrated reactions some of the crowd was having at not being able to attack him yet. "Get mad and yell at me to tell you the truth? Really, it's like you're some bratty kid having a temper tantrum or something. Give me a break." He rolled his eyes, earning another glare from Aedum and the four spirits he had summoned. The zodiac spirits were pretty big on trust, and besides, he was being pretty rude.

OOC: Mk, that makes sense :3 I love having a shaman as a character =D

BIC: "Oh, boo. You're being a party pooper." Aislyn sighed, not exactly sure what she could swear on at this point. What exactly meant anything to her? "Well, got any ideas of what to shoot if I attack Velius? I'm completely clueless at the moment." Quite seriously, she could not think of a single thing. It was actually pretty sad, if you thought about it.

"Seriously, Zarek? You're insulting me over being mad at you for betraying me? Are you at all surprised that I'm mad?" Now Lia looked like she was actually becoming furious. "Tell me, Zarek, what else can you do?" She took a step forward, so that he could hear her better. But what else could she do, if he had completely blocked her powers?

Up in the stands, Hecate was concentrating completely on Zarek. The power flowed through her, tasting just as good as it had to her last time. It was amazing, feeling that utter control lifting her spirits up. She was commanding him to let go of Velius and to step back, to give all of this up and to tell them what the cop's plans were. Her power swept through her, stronger than it had last time because of the amount that she had been practicing.

BIC: Shayne watched Hecate with surprise. Being a hybrid, he could feel the sort of will she was exerting, and he didn't really like it all too much. "What are you going to have him do?" He asked, watching Zarek talk with Lia. He probably either didn't feel the power yet because she hadn't commanded anything, or he was just ignoring it for the moment. Either way, he couldn't wait to see how well this worked.
