((Thankies!=D))
NACU's expression didn't change, and he didn't move the gun either. "Do not attack. Yes, allowing Zarek to escape alive would be a tactical issue, but that boy is in danger. You would harm him, probably on purpose. I won't allow you to attack a civilian child." He snapped, hoping the use of the word civilian wouldn't seem too weird, most people wouldn't notice with all the distractions anyway.
Shade grabbed Rubis' arm and glared at her. "What do you think you're doing? We can't fight each other Rubis, we're all on the same side here!" He shook her more roughly this time. "Don't go doing that! You're overreacting, sdtop being a brat and get your mind on the battle! This isn't about you, this is about trying to save this damn school! So stop whining that you want to do this or that and that you don't want to take orders and get your mind on the real problem!" He shouted, earning a few surprised and mildly angry looks from people around them, most probably friends of his and Rubis', though he was too busy locking gazes with the girl to focus on them.
((Before Velius hit him...))
"So, you think that if I hadn't done all this you guys would win?" Zarek smiled at that, acting as though he was considering it praise, though he knew it wasn't meant as such. "Why thank you, I guess that was a smart move on our part then. And yeah, I do like playing on trust. It's so easy, when someone really trusts someone they almost never allow themselves to really turn against them without solid proof, rather let themselves be dillusioned. And that's the reason why you all will lose, because you're a weak group of disorganized idiots, already fighting each other." "'Trickey and treachery are the practices of fools who have not the wit enough to be honest'." A voice quoted, and a few people turned to see the summoned spirit of
Virgo standing next to Aedum, who was scowling at Zarek with dissaporval. The hybrid just smirked and retorted with a quote of his own, "'Old age and treachery overcome youth and skill'." Though he wasn't really old, the rest was fine.
((After!))
Zarek glared in frustration when Velius bit him, but didn;t let the boy get much farther. While his teeth were still biting down against him, the older boy shot web from his hand and clamped it around Velius' mouth, in it too-so it couldn't open. Both hands now went to grabbing the boy and holding him still, ignoring the mild throbbing in his side as he bent the oracle's arms behind his back. "Calm donw, brat."
