You're right, but look at them, there are some differences: the first one with the collar and some slightly diferent spots, the 2nd, the collar again, the 3rd, the marking and acessories... and so on xD On the new 2nd gen, we can't see those diferences, the marking are the same x3
The only diference are really the collors x3

And the only difference between the border collie and the 2nd gen are the star on the bum. The way I see it, there were next to no markings to work with, as well as next to no items save the coontail's collar, and the collar on the pup is actually a different style of collar, or at least it doesn't seem to be the same lineart as always, so there are slight changes as it is. XD I don't know, I just don't see how, when all things considered, this is any different to any of the others. I was expecting at least two pups looking like their parents, as I do believe this is the norm, so people being so shocked and continuously pointing out something that is so common in 2nd gens just makes no sense to me. ^^'

Well that's right, but I believe these are much more similiar than normal xD

Well that's right, but I believe these are much more similiar than normal xD
They may seem more similar than normal, but the pallet is all grays, so it's hard to do otherwise.
Just saying, there's nothing extremely special about this particular litter
unless you're clowesia.
