There were once four siblings, Raven, Hawk, Wolf, and Fox. Not were they born from a human mother, but from the sky. They were gods themselves in human forms, blessing the earth with their many footsteps. They were walking along a long, winding road at dusk, and came upon a four-way split in the path. Conversing with another, they decided to each travel the different path, splitting up for the time being. So each sibling went on separate paths, separate destinations and destinies alike.
Raven was the eldest of the four, a strong man of age, but blind with power and the need to be heard among his younger family. His path was darkened with dead trees, and the sky became as dark as the man’s jet black hair which did not shine in the unlight light. Soon the path was unable to be seen, and he found himself stumbling along in the darkness, blinded by the dark shadows the trees cast, which aided the darkness of the night sky. Raven fell to his knees soon enough, and began to cry pitifully. A figure of light flashed in the sky as the Mother of All Gods, or Qinae, spoke to her fallen son. “Why do you weep my son? Is this world too harsh for you?” Raven raised his head to the heavens, and spoke out in a grave voice. “Mother, it is too dark. I have lost my way and cannot see. I am blinded with shadows.” Qinae replied soothingly. “All is not lost. I will grant you one wish to aid you through this world.” she comforted, and Raven’s head shot up at the idea. “I wish to have wings of jet black fastened upon my back, so that I may fly above the trees, and be free in the sky.” and so, with the ability to become a raven, black wings appeared on Raven’s back, and with a cry of joy, he flew into the night sky.
Wolf was the second eldest of the four, and as his brother Raven, was strong and tall. He was a much simpler man than Raven, but still wished for power over others. The path that he was led through turned into a woodland area, pine trees bristling at his side. But the world of man was usually unkind to Wolf and his siblings, so no sooner had he passed into the forest, had he been hunted by those who called him a trespasser. Wolf tried to evade his pursuers, but no avail. His shoulder was pierced by a darkly-fletched arrow, and he sank to his knees in grief, moaning in agony, silent tears forming on his face. ”Why do you weep my son? Is this world too harsh for you?” came the silvery voice of the Mother of All Gods, and Wolf stared at the sky, crying out in pain as he spoke. “Mother, we have come here to bless Earth, but those who we help do not thank us and create us as heroes, but instead, hunt and hurt us. I am soon to be killed.” and his mother chuckled gingerly and replied, ”All is not lost. I will grant you one wish to aid you through this world.” and so, quickly, Wolf replied with eagerness. “I wish to have ears and tail of a wolf to hear all sounds of enemies so that I may never be hurt, and to be able to show others what I truly am.” And so it was that Wolf had the ears and tail of his very name, along with the will to become his name’s animal.
Hawk, unlike the two brothers, was a female, one of two of the four siblings. She stood, slender and agile, but graceful. Even so, she had sharp eyes and was ready to fight. Hawk was a very aggressive type of creature, but was normally reasonable. As the path she took wound back and forth, the area around her turned into a mountainside slope, the air growing colder and harsher, the plants becoming scarce and dark. It was there, that Hawk found a boy with the ability to change from a hawk to a human with wings, and she fell deeply in love. But she could not stay there for long, as the boy had to return to his family. He was not used to the bounds of earth, and was a Skydweller. So when the boy left, she sank down onto the rocky slope and began to cry harshly, her eyes turning red with sadness. ”Why do you weep my daughter? Is this world too harsh for you?” came the voice of Hawk’s Mother. The beautiful young woman turned her tearstained face to the sky, and cried out in sadness, “The one that I love cannot stay with me. He will never be able to. I bear so much pain that I feel I should kill myself.” at this, her Mother replied, ”All is not lost. I will grant you one wish to aid you through this world.” Hawk gave this no thought as she only knew one thing that she wanted. “I wish to have the ability to change into a hawk, be like my lover, have wings in human form. I wish to be with him.” and no sooner were the words spoken, that Hawk had just those things. She rejoiced happily and flew into the sky to meet her lover, who was extremely happy.
Fox. Last but not least, Fox was the littlest of the four, the most quiet, and the most resourceful. With her hair of red, she was skinny, small and of the least bit needy. Her words that were spoken were always true, but she knew when others were lying. The path she walked upon brought her into a field of green with clumps of trees, where dangerous animals lurked. The Tsunakai was a terrible creature that somewhat resembled a lion crossed with an eagle and a lizard. It had a huge taste for meat, and was a ruthless hunter. It stalked Fox for a while, who finally stopped and sat upon a rock in the middle of the forest, waiting for something. With a burst of light, Qinae appeared, speaking to her youngest daughter. ”My daughter, why do you wait for death? Why not admit defeat?” Fox stared up at the sky, and simply saying in a quiet voice, “Because I do not wish to.” The Mother of All Gods stared upon her daughter with a strange respect and spoke once more. ”My daughter, I-” Fox interrupted her mother strangely. “I know why you have come. You knew each of us would falter on the paths. You knew that each of us would fall to our knees and cry. Well I won’t. You have come to grant me a wish. I am not standing down.” At this, Qinae laughed and smiled down upon the youngest. ”My daughter, you are brave of heart, and even I cannot sneak your knowledge. What is your wish? I will still grant it to you.” Fox stared up, her red hair falling from her face. “All I wish, is for me to be able to hide from others without them knowing. That is my wish.” and it was that the Mother of All Gods granted Fox with russet ears and a tail, and the ability to change into a fox.
It is needless to say that the siblings did not find each other again, as they all felt appropriate in the place that they were situated in. Raven delighted himself in diving through the sky in the barren, leaf-less trees that he called home. Wolf found that there were many good things to eat in the forest of the path, and was full. Hawk rejoiced in the mountain winds and air, with the ability to glide endlessly in the same place against the air currents. And Fox, little fox, was happy where she was, hiding from danger, able to eat small foods to keep her alive. And so, the four Tribes were made.
The four original Gods soon had to leave their comfortable home, and return to the sky, for their task was done. But the Tribe members were granted with the gifts that Qinae had bestowed among her four children. The members of the Tribe followed the suit of their Gods, their personalities almost alike. Raven people were proud, bold and daring, ready to take new risks, and above all, proud of their honor. The people of the Tribe of Wolf were aggressive and warrior-like, brandishing scars like battle trophies, their pride as strong as ever, and if not a little stuck up. The people of the Tribe of Hawk were sentimental to the winds, and have a knack for cold places, never cold, always rejoicing in nature, fond of their home. Finally, the tribe of Fox is the shyest of all Tribes. They are rarely seen by anyone other than their own tribe’s occupants, and are very resourceful, calculating, intelligent, but simple minded and kind in their own gentle way.
The Tribes lived in peace, following their own customs, and always paying mind to their Keeper. No matter who it was, you were not considered anything if you did not care or know about the Gods, Hawk, Raven, Wolf and Fox. But as always in a tale, there is some kind of evil. It would not be an exciting tale without it, and believe me, there is an evil. As if from nowhere one day, a lady came. A patrol of Wolf warriors had found her, sitting like a preserved piece of fruit, beautiful, dainty and delicate in the middle of their rugged land. The Wolf people tried to take her in, but she was disgusted by their ways of eating meats and the fact that they had to hunt, along with the fact that she thought that they were plain barbaric. Finding that she was not going to just fit in with their Tribe, the Wolf people turned the woman over to the Tribe of Hawk, hoping that she would be more at home in the mountains, and the Wolf people were happy to be rid of her. The Falcon people did not fare any better than the Wolf. They were disgusted at how fragile she was, and how she could not stand the howl or battering of the wind, which was like music and playing to them. How she complained of the sounds and cold! Sending her away gladly, the Falcon people gave her over to their neighboring sibling, the Tribe of Raven. Results didn’t vary. The trees that were beautiful in the mind of Ravens, were nasty and old to the woman. Never once did she change though. No matter what, it seemed like the woman never aged, never changed. The only resort was to the Tribe of Fox, who would never take in an unknown woman. At the very sight of the pale-haired lady, the Fox Tribe blanched and ran away in fright.
Casting her out, as there was nowhere for her to go, the Tribes continued their own duties and activities. It was not long before the woman came back. With friends as well. In the middle of the night, trained killers from out of the blue came and slit the throats of the four Tribe leaders, each of the Tribes left with a message that the lady was now under control. The Tribes easily tried to protest, but as if the lady was magic, she managed to defoile their plans in any way. The Tribes stayed where they were as they knew that there was no way out, and came to speak of the woman as, The Marquess. She slowly took a hold over the Tribes, and almost as if it was the easiest of tasks, banned them from the sky. The Raven and Hawk tribe were outraged, but with a wave of her hand, the Marquess had been able to chain the wings of the half-humans. Any half-humans who slipped out of their chains by some amazing event and tried to take off into the air, dropped stone-dead onto the ground as soon as their feet left the earth. How the Tribes loathed The Marquess! Almost in a superstition, the Tribes created masks to hide their faces from the Marquess, as if she could control you if she knew who you were and what you looked like. They were more like a tribute to their Ancestor, to let the Marquess know that they were not afraid, and that they still believed in their Gods. The masks followed suit with the animal, but had no mouth or noticeable eyeholes. Once you were born, you were given a plain mask with no more than the depiction of either wolfish, foxish or birdish eyes in the color of your own eyes. As you progressed through life, more and more things could be added to your mask to show your achievement. Fox and Wolf masks had pointed ears sprouting from the sides, the Raven and Hawk masks with feathers fastened to the edges, a beak sprouting out from where the wearer’s mouth would be. The Tribes wear their masks with pride. But she continued her rule over the land, living in a highly sophisticated palace up high in the mountains, but not on Hawk’s mountain mind you. The Marquess thought of all the Tribes as uncivilized, rugged and untrained creatures. She believed that they were barbaric, and in her fancy ways, they very much were. The two Bird tribes grew for many generations, raising young who had no idea how to fly.
“...The Marquess continues to rule over the land today with her frightening beauty, while the Tribes try to go on and live their life, though the Hawk and Raven tribe might be banished to the ground, and the Fox and Wolf tribes furious as ever. We only hope that some day she will be killed...”
Wide eyes stared at the wrinkled face of the gray-haired lady as she sat back in her chair, dusty red-furred fox ears sticking out of her strands of silver as she closed her eyes. There was a silence after the lady stopped talking, and then a voice piped up.
“Don’t stop Granny!” came a dog-like whine from one of the huge-eyed children sitting on the floor of the small lean-to. It was a small little girl, who’s hair, like many of the Fox tribe, was deep red, and fell down into puddles on the floor. The girl gripped in her hands a white, blank mask, her knuckles white with anxiousness as she waited for the old woman’s answer.
The old fox-lady cracked one eye open, staring down at the girl, who’s name was Rue. “My dear child, I have told all that I will today. That story took it out of me.” she spoke, and Rue stood up with an indignant look on her face. A few of the other shy-faced fox children glanced up at the bold young girl worriedly, obviously not used to standing up and speaking their mind. A long red and white tail twitched against Rue’s leg as she pouted at Granny.
“But I want to know what happens!” Granny frowned, staring at Rue. “My child, the story ends there. I ended it in the precise way to make it seem like the story is now in your hands.” Rue stared at her like she was speaking a foreign language. “Whaaaa?” she asked, tilting her head to one side, her whole body slumping.
“Enough. Gran Gran needs her sleep. All of you, out!” the young ones ran from the lean-to into the sunlight of the grassy meadows they knew of their home. But inside Rue’s mind, Granny’s last words echoed around in her head. “...The story is now in your hands...”
Long story short - There were four siblings who were Gods from the heavens, but were sent to bless earth. They went on separate paths. Raven, the oldest and a man, was granted the wings of a raven to fly with the ability to become a raven. Wolf, a boy, was given ears and the tail of a wolf, with the ability to become a wolf. Hawk, a girl, was given the ability to change into a hawk and to have wings in human form. Fox, a girl, was smart and chose to be able to hide. She got the tail and ears of a fox, and the ability to change into one as well. They formed different Tribes. The Tribes got along, and soon enough the Gods left to return to the heavens. It wasn’t long before a mysterious woman came along. She didn’t fit in any of the tribes, and was cast out. She returned as an evil lady! She was named the Marquess and controlled the land, controlling the Tribes with it! She grounded the Hawk and Raven Tribes and was mainly evil! The Tribes hate her! She lives in a Palace! The Tribes want to kill her! Yay!
(But please, I worked hard on the long version. It’d be nice if you read it.)

Nine , I know I sound super serious about these rules and you may think that I’m just this weird silent and serious person who’s issuing out rules, but the seriousness and demanding stuff is just so that I can get a point across. Seriously, I am not even NEAR serious. I think you will find that out in the future if you don’t run away from my creepiness first...
The Tribe’s Homes and Customs ,
Tribe of Raven ,
As one of the Raven Tribe, they rejoice in the view of an open sky, hence the ever-non-leafing trees that hang over them, that had once sauntered Raven’s footsteps. Despite the fact that they cannot fly, they remain where their Ancestors did. They Raven folk take advantage of the trees though, and in a small clump of their dead forest, is their camp. It is not on ground, but up in the trees. Their homes are tree houses, most of them sturdy and true, able to fit around four or five humans in each one of them. They used to be easily accessible when the Marquess wasn’t around, but when grounded, they had to make ladders of rope and boughs. It is the closest they can get to the sky, without flying. And surprisingly, the Marquess allowed them to go up into the trees, as long as they were not in the air without support.
The Raven Tribe is a very proud Tribe as was their Ancestor, and their Founder. They are able to only hunt as humans, unless pecking among the ground for bugs, which would not really be majestic of a Raven. The masks of the Raven Tribe generally follow a dark color code of blacks, silvers, and possibly some brighter colors in the mix. A lot of the Raven Tribe have black hair, and all of them black Raven’s wings.
Tribe of Hawk ,
The Tribe of Hawk is by far the most aggressive but bewilderingly beautiful Tribe of them all. They guard their past hugely, and never speak of it to others. They are easily sociable among their own, but can bristle with anger at others from different Tribes, even though it is mostly not like that. The Hawk people are very sporting and often enjoy different games, and love a good fight if there ever was one. They are quick to take action, and sometimes act more on impulse than reasoning. But at the same time, they are at home in the mountains, where others would easily die of the cold. And better yet, they don’t even notice the cold. They wear no jackets and shorts as if it were Summer. The Hawk people have a good sense of humor though, and often love to play practical jokes on one another.
The home, as said before, of the Hawk Tribe is high up in the mountains where there is multiple lichen and fragile plants only suited for their type of weather. Being there no trees in the mountains that were taller than a child, only short pine trees, the Hawk people were not able to live in tree houses like their brothering Tribe, but instead, took to caves. In the caves, when the winds sped by fast, it howled in their ears. This howling was like music to them. It was the sound that lulled many young children to sleep, even if it would keep others constantly awake. The caves also trapped a little heat inside, which, even if they were suited for the cold, was a nice little touch.
The Masks of the Hawk Tribe mainly follow the color of blues or browns, with possibly some blacks. All of the Masks end up with many feathers lining the top that cover the head of the wearer, a lot of the feathers being feathers of distinction. Unlike the Raven Tribe, the Hawk Tribe tries to restore a little bit of order in their home, and give different young children, elder, more experienced warriors and hunters to learn from. It is almost like mentoring and apprenticing, but in a somewhat disjointed way, as the more experienced warriors have more than one child to train.
Tribe of Wolf ,
This Tribe is one of the wisest in battle strategies and planning. They are not fast to react and are deliberate with their time, making everything count. Charging into battle without a plan is the worst thing that you could do, but no doubt, the Wolf Tribe just loves battles. They are very honorable and proud that they bear their name of Wolf, and can often be a bit headstrong and not listen to others, but not nearly as headstrong as their sister Tribe, the Tribe of Hawk. Their home, in the middle of a brilliant forest, is very much like the home of the Fox Tribe. They use constructed lean-tos with a few small dens here and there in their territory, and their Tribe camp is very far back into the woods from the border, as they would want it to be very hard for one to find their camp if they wished to destroy it.
Wolf Tribe’s masks are hues of silvers and browns, but not the same browns as the Hawk Tribe. They stick to darker browns, and shades of grays and sometimes, in high ranks, golds. Like the Fox Tribe, their mask has two wolf-like ears sticking out of the side. Pups are trained periodically through the days, weeks and months by whomever is able to. There is no connection of mentor and apprentice.
Tribe of Fox ,
The Tribe of Fox is the most unseen of all Tribes, the most quiet, the most resourceful, and the most insightful. They are experts at camouflage and often like to surprise their hunt by springing up on it in the grass. At any sight of danger they are quick to run away, and are often soft-spoken outside camp. Inside camp, it can be very boisterous as others feel more comfortable around their own, and will talk how they want and how loud they want. Like the other Tribes though, the Tribe of Fox only wears their Masks out of camp. In their home, they are safe.
Their home is the grassy field with clumps of trees creating miniature forests here and there. The trees are deciduous, and in the fall, their home is a gold, red and orange wonderland. They live in lean-tos, with a few huts for the larger families. Mothers are not overly-motherly of their own, and will take care of another’s pups if the mother is out on a hunt, or if the pup doesn’t have any parents at all.
Like the hair of most Fox people, their Mask is based off hues of red and orange, to follow suit with their flame-colored pelts. Golds, blacks, browns and many other different colors decorate the Mask, but mostly following earthly colors. Pups learn slowly with the help of older ones, but also learn from their experiences. A lot of the Fox people believe that you will not learn anything if you do not try anything on your own.

Hello , Rue
Gender , Female
Age , 17
Tribe , Fox
Appearance , Rue is considered somewhat short, standing at around five foot two, but is not at all fat. Like most of the girls anywhere in any Tribe, she is slim. Rue’s hair is a bright firey red, the color of what her coat looks like when in Fox form. The tips of her hair is black. Rue’s eyes are a bright yellow, a strange trait that she had inherited from her fox form into her human form otherwise than ears or the tail. Rue goes about barefooted in a rough shirt made from animal hide, with shorts, like most. In the winter, she wears a black jacket which was a family heirloom from a long time ago, and pants to keep out the cold.
Rue’s mask is red with foxish ears sticking up from the side. The eyes are yellow, cold and calculating, but created in the way that they were somewhat cattish, somewhat slitted, somewhat dangerous in a warning. Hooked black lines fall from the sides of the mask, and then taper off underneath where the mouth would be, had masks been made with the intention of a mouth. Which, they weren’t. Hues of dark red, almost a deep maroon are formed in lines which slide from the top of the mask and branch off in straight lines down, crossing over the black curved lines. A few white lines as if jagged cuts are where the masks’ cheeks would be, horizontal.
Personality , Rue, despite the fact that she can be somewhat quiet and observing, is a pretty rambunctious and upstarting girl. Outside camp, she is as silent as a winter’s morning, calm, her expression hidden behind her Mask. But in the camp, she can hardly sit still. She feels that there is so much to do that she’s missing all the time. Often, she cannot take no for an answer, and will be boiling mad when someone leaves her out of something, such as a Hunt. Even though she is warrior-like and aggressive, not to mention deadly with a bow and arrows, she has a certain fondness for kits. She has not been able to train them yet, as most do not deem her ready for it, but she often likes to play small little games. Rue enjoys young children, and hopes, one day, she will have her own. Rue has her own loving side, but it is only showed around kits, never outside of camp. She wishes that there was someone special in her life, but there never has been, for most think that she’ll never be a good mother because of her impulsiveness. Rue is very loyal to her Tribe and to her friends, and would never let others down, or at least, others who she knew and cared for. She somewhat is wary of the other Tribes, and can be quick to jump to conclusions about them.
History , Not much is really known of Rue’s history. It is of any others’ history, boring and uneventful to most. She was born on a somewhat cloudy, rainy day, the first of her mother’s litter. Her parents, Theron and Rose, named their children after herbs for some unnamed reason. Rue grew up under the care of her mother, and the wisdom of her father. But Rue was anot interested in sitting around with her mother and sewing clothes. She loved to fight. She loved to hunt. She was very ambitious, and enjoyed being active. So, she slowly grew closer to the forest. Not much else is known. All of her family lives to this day, and none have died.
Example , Rue hated to miss a hunt.
It, to her, was a huge boost in experience that would be valuable in her future, and thought of it as another way to earn more markings on her mask. Yes, she was very ambitious for one of the Fox Tribe, but also one who was very pretty, smart and eager to learn. So this was exactly the reason why Rue was so hugely disappointed when she awoke one morning to find that most of the Tribe had gone on a morning hunt, stalking down a stray deer that a scout had reported earlier. Of course, foxes were not ambitious of a sort, but when together, and with a very important task ahead of them, they were able to bring down many a large animals. Rue loved to be in the hunt. Today, she wasn’t.
Her temper already fluttering angrily, she had stalked off from her small lean-to which was her own room and walked through the camp. Although she was simmering with anger, she was expertly hiding it, as she did not want to upset the younger ones. There was a small sound though as she walked, and Rue glanced over her shoulder as a voice spoke up. “Rue my child, where are you going in such an angry manner?” spoke the voice, creaky and old like a rusted gate, but at the same time, simply beautiful in the way the words were spoken. Rue sighed and slumped slightly as she walked over, her tail hanging down like a sack full of wet sand. Granny stared down at the young fox-girl that she had seen grown up, and felt a huge fondness for the girl. It felt like yesterday that she had been begging for more stories to be told. Truth it was that she was not the most focused of creatures, but she had a good heart, and for that, Granny was very impressed with her development. “It’s just... the Tribe... they left on a perfectly good hunt without me...” she whimpered, putting her head in her hands as she glared at the ground.
Granny smiled sympathetically. “It’s because of last night. You were tired from helping Yen with the new lean-to. We thought that it was best that you sleep in and get some well-needed rest, since you haven’t seemed to have it in days. “Poo.” Rue simply said, her ears downcast as she stared at the ground. “Child, we would have woken you up. We just felt you work so hard.” sighing, Rue shrugged. “I guess I’ll be able to tag onto another band going out. I heard yesterday that there’s a stray badger in our territory. Maybe I can help get it out.” Granny smiled. “That’s the spirit. I hear many things sitting here, pretending I’m just a deaf old woman. But I heard that the next Tribe Council is coming up. Maybe you’ll be able to go.” At this, Rue grasped Granny’s arm suddenly, her eyes full of excitement. “Oh gosh! That’d be so amazing! Maybe they will!” she chirped, and then glanced around. “I gotta go ask!” and with that, she ran off back towards the round-shaped hut in the distance, all thoughts about the morning hunt forgotten. Granny chucked and leaned back into her chair. “I was hoping that would be the way it worked out.” and with that, she slid into sleep.

Hello , Aella , means whirlwind
Gender , Female
Age , 18
Tribe Hawk
Appearance , Aella has a lot of beauty for one who is so rough in action and words. She stands at around five foot seven, and is, to say the least, slender and as lithe as a stalking tiger. Her movements show the form of grace, and is able to make many different twists in her body at will, which is a huge advantage in fighting, as she can easily gain footing on ground if tripped. Her arms, though skinny as her legs, are full of muscle and are very strong. Aella’s hair is dark brown and straight, with a somewhat jagged emo-sweep across her left eye, as if she had to cut it with a knife (which she probably did...) Many different feathers are beaded into her hair to represent her loyalty to the Hawk, a few of the feathers being feathers of distinction, but mostly just randomly-found feathers that she had included in her hair for fun. Her hair reaches the middle of her back, and is mostly layered, work done, with again, probably a random hunting knife that she had found lying about. Aella’s eyes are strange, light blue with silver and gold flecks haunting underneath the surface that glint in the light. Despite the fact that the Tribes do not have very many good techniques of knitting/stitching stuff, they are not wearing bearskin furs and speaking in grunts. Their clothes are made out of deer hide and different furs. Aella normally wears a deer hide wrap-around, that exposes her shoulders. It is more or less, a piece of fur that is stitched to fit the area of Aella’s body from underneath her shoulders to her waist. As for her lower half, she wears deerskin short-shorts so that she has more mobility. To most, it would seem that this is the worst garb possible in the frighteningly cold mountains, but Aella’s Tribe, as said before, did not mind the cold. As for shoes, Aella does not wear any. Around her neck lie a few necklaces with stones engraved with animals and depictions of different naturistic things.
Aella’s mask is a special thing to her, and she takes very good care of it, believing it frightful, warrior-like, showing that she was not one to take lightly, but at the same time, it showed cunning and danger. Aella’s mask is a scratchy mixture of light and dark blue, somewhat swirling together in a pleasing blend of the two. The eyes of the mask are light blue like the sky, with the silver and gold flecks buried into the wood with the rough dye they made from the berries from around. Feathers of unnameable birds lined the top of the mask, shooting backwards to cover the top of her head. The lines around the eyes are dark, and they spread off into a slim curve upwards. Lines of black stream from the beak to the side of the mask. The beak itself is black with a white tip, shades of blue lining a few parts. Aella loves it to death and can never wait enough until she gets the next addition to it.
Personality , Aella has a rough attitude despite her lithe skinniness and her pretty looks. She is quick to take offense and has a sharp tongue when it came to insulting others. She is very good at making belittling comments, and even the least harmless will make others feel terrible. But normally she doesn’t insult. She only is aggressive towards those who insult her honor or who insult her. Most of the time, Aella is a good sport and a team player, quick to jump in with a racing game or a game of tag. Never will Aella stand for anyone speaking about her dead family in a bad way. She is pretty popular as a young hunter in her Tribe, and almost always brings home at least something for her relative family to eat. She has a good sense of humor and often jokes around with friends, saying smart or funny little wisecracks that would insult a normal person who didn’t know Aella, but that just made her friends laugh more. Aella has a thing for hating specific people though. Even though she is wary of the other Tribes since they seem so mysterious, she has a few people whom she especially hates. Once you’ve made an enemy of Aella, it stays that way. She never forgets a face.
History , Aella grew up like most in her village that were around her age. She did not know the marvels of being able to fly because of the Marquess’ binding of the Raven and Hawk tribe to the ground. She grew up with the magical chain on her back that strapped across her stomach that held her wings down firmly. Not only had the Marquess taken away their flight, but then she had taken away their ability to open their wings and at least stretch them once and a while. She grew up not knowing the love of a mother or the bond of a sister, as both her mother and barely a minute-old sister had died at childbirth. Her father had tried his best to take care of Aella, but life in the mountains did not work that way. The mother was the main supporter. Without the mother, the child was pretty much dead. Most of the men in the Tribe of Hawk were not used to taking care of young. Her father’s name was Tallon, a suitable name for their Hawk ancestry. But it was not long before his grief and anger towards the death of his wife and child, that he found himself cursing the name of the Marquess almost every second he could get. In order to defy the Marquess, he believed he had to fly through the sky and not die. He did not believe that he would die. He thought that he would survive. He was wrong. Aella’s family depleted very quickly, and then she was left with nothing but the little love of the other females of the camp could give her. Aella loved her home though, and loosing her family strengthened her boldness and her pride. It strengthened the willpower not to cry, as she had cried herself silly when her family died. She grew strong, and is now one of the best attributes the Tribe could have.
Example , As a young girl, Aella always loved to climb to the top of the mountain many mornings in a row and watch the sun rise. She loved to bathe in the warm glow that it sent through her, despite the fact that she loved the cold, and was adept to it’s harshness. To the Hawk Tribe, coldness was as comforting as a warm blanket on a winter’s night to humans. Aella had always felt different than the others, but she didn’t act like it. The sunrise reminded her that even though most of what she held dear to her is lost, there is still hope and beauty in the world. Aella especially liked the mornings when their whole camp was as foggy and misty as a swamp down in a valley. When the sun light up the fog, it was as if there was a golden sheet of silk that was being torn across their high mountains, shining bright.
The breeze ruffling her thick, dark brown hair, Aella’s eyes shined brightly against the morning sunrise. Her knees drawn up to her chest, her arms resting on her knees, and her head resting on her arms, she felt at peace. There was a noise though, and Aella’s eyes flashed angrily as she tightened her arms, knowing easily who it was by the heavy steps against the rocks. “Sooooooo... This is where you’ve been hiding all the time!” came a casual male voice as a teenage boy stepped up behind Aella. “Huh... kind of stupid isn’t it? I mean, seriously. Watching the sunset? Talk about cheesy.” he spoke, and Aella growled slightly. “Go away Fallow.” she spoke evenly, her grip tightening around her arms. “I do not wish to see your face, as it looks like it got clawed apart by a rabid chipmunk.” she spoke smoothly. There was a silence, and then the boy spoke again. “Noooooo way. No chipmunk can stand up to me! It’d have to be a... uh...” Aella glared at the boy. “My mistake. Maybe you just tripped on your fat feet and landed face-first onto a pointy rock.” It was obvious that Aella didn’t like Fallow. “No.” he replied smugly.
“Seriously, in the name of Hawk, if you do not get away from me in under five seconds so help me I will-” she whirled up from where she sat and aimed a downward blow at Fallow, only to find that her wrist was clenched fast in his fist, her hand balled up, ready to fight. Fallow narrowed his eyes. “Listen. Whether you like it or not, you’re stuck with me.” he snarled, and then stalked off the mountain, leaving Aella to stare after him in disgust. Turning around, she sat down again, her head low in a sulky stance. “I hate him. I hate him. I hate him.” she muttered under her breath as she rocked back and forth on her bottom, watching as the sun rose higher into the sky.
Family , None , her sister died at childbirth, as did her mother. Aella’s father was killed when he tried to fly through the air, to defy the Marquess.

Hello , Aulis
Gender , Male
Age , 19 years old
Tribe , Wolf
Appearance , Aulis is a tall boy, and surprisingly skinny for his fighting strength. He seems like the kind of boy who would be huge, with large muscles, but his muscles are hidden in his skinny arms. He stands at about five foot seven or eight, his hair is a dark brown color, almost black, but with some lighter browns in it too. It reaches his shoulders and is somewhat layered, very straight. Aulis favors a bow and arrows over a hunting knife, as he enjoys sending arrows, and as he calls them, are his 'songs of death.' Normally he wears a black leather jacket, and dark pants, normally dressed in all black any way. His eyes are a deep brown, turning amber in the sunlight. Aulis' wolf traits are based around a red wolf, so his ears are a mottled brownish red and his tail following suit, if not a little skinnier than the Wolf Tribes' other tails.
Aulis' Mask is somewhat simple, a base of dark brown. The ears are a lighter brown, the tips of the ears black, a russet line coming from the top of the mask down to the center of the nose on the muzzle. The nose is black, the lower jaw of the mask black as well. The amber eyes are surrounded with gold, flecked with white specks.
Personality , Aulis is not one who is smart nor is he dull. His anger or energy towards something else often gets the better of him. He can be headstrong, and is easy to run into things without thinking about it first. He is eager to show off, and is very proud of his skills, but can sometimes be too boastful. Sometimes his ignorance can get him into trouble, especially when he tries to show off to a pretty face. Many times he has tried to capture the attention of a girl with a fake fact about him, such as, he is brilliant at fishing. One of his fatal flaws is that he falls in love with at least every single girl that he meets, but yet, he has never had a true girlfriend. It does not matter where that girl is from, whether it may be his own Tribe or another. A lot of time he is reprimanded for his flaw. Aulis is not so much of a hunter but a warrior, and can be very fearsome in the light of battle. A lot of times, he likes to resort with pain instead of reasoning, and often will simply ask, "Can I kill them now?" and when let loose, he is like a rabid dog.
History , Aulis has a dull past. Well, up until some point. He was born into the Tribe, the second of his family's children, and his older brother, needless to say, hated him then. He hated how Aulis was doted on, and he always felt that no one ever payed any attention to him. So, Zayn tried to kill Aulis in his desperate need of attention. His plan was to drown his brother, but it did not work, as Aulis found himself actually a somewhat good swimmer when it came to being under water. Or at least, he could hold his breath longer than Zayn had expected his little brother could. When Ama was born, everyone then doted on her, and Zayn realized that it all happened that way. So, he formed a more brotherly relationship with Aulis. Now, despite the ways Zayn embarrasses his brother, they still get along well.
Example , Aulis walked jauntily down the path, needless to say, feeling good about the day. He had spent a morning trying to fish in the small pond in the Wolf Tribe territory, and, from the way he walked and his sopping wet demeanor, was not successful. He actually, had managed to dump himself on accident into the lake three times, and by now, was feeling quite cold. But that did not belittle his good attitude, as he just felt good about the day. His wet russet tail hung limply by his side, as his ears were sagging outwards. Wiping his nose with his wrist, Aulis shook himself hard like a dog and water droplets flew off in every direction. With luck, he might be able to understand how to hunt today, and possibly find a few deer. It was highly doubtful, but Aulis hadn't practiced in a bit with his bow and arrow, and wanted to do so soon.

Hello , Dusk
Gender , Female
Age , 19
Tribe , Raven
Appearance , Dusk is the stereotypical Raven Tribe female. She stands tall, a bit taller than others though, six feet tall, and skinny. Her fingers are long and skinny, but have quite a few scars on them from her habits to sometimes play with her hunting knife, twirling it around in her hands. Her body actually has quite a few scars, but it is not in an ugly way, but they almost have a feral look to them, but beautiful at the same time. Somewhat like tattoos. Dusk's hair is jet black as 99 percent of the Raven Tribe's hair is, and is longer than many of the other girls' hair, reaching a bit below her butt. She's been meaning to cut it for a long time, but when she tries to, she shies away from cutting the length of black strands. Her skin is not pale, but a bit darker than a lot of the Tribe, even though it is barely noticeable if you glance quickly. Dusk's eyes are what identify her out of the rest of the group, because otherwise than her eyes, she wouldn't even be noticed as different. As some kind of birth defect, her right eye is brown, but her left eye is marbled, blue and brown swirled together like you would see on a dog or such. Most think that she is blind in that eye, but she is not. She can see perfectly, if not even better through both eyes. Some say that Dusk has seen things that predict the future, somewhat wary of her different colored eyes, as if she was some kind of demon creature. Most shy away from her, making her demeanor more mysterious.
Dusk normally wears semi baggy clothes, as if to hide her skinny form. She enjoys wearing dark-colored clothes, mostly sporting deep green or brown colors. Her shirts consist of a tight-wrapped skin top around her upper torso, letting a small portion of her stomach show between her pants and top. Dusk's pants are made of a strange material that almost feels like jeans, the pant legs often trailing in the dirt behind her. She goes about barefoot, her feet very tough over years of running without any shoes. On top of this all, she wears a leather jacket that goes down to the middle of her knees, and that is what seems never zipped up. Dusk always leaves the jacket open. Around her ankle she wears a small leather-woven ankle bracelet, inlaid with a few shiny pebbles she found.
Dusk has a simple Mask, as she never really took the time to try to work and win different designs. She could almost care less what her Mask looks like. The base color is a very dark red, almost a black, and has quite a few indents on it painted white to represent her multiple scars. The eyes of the Mask are ever cold and calculating, and the group of the Raven Tribe had taken a lot of detail to represent the girl's eyes, going into extreme details as to show others how this one was not "natural" to them. The beak tip is a bright red, as if the beak had been dipped into blood. A trail of black feathers arc over the left side of the Mask's top.
Personality , A bit of Dusk's personality can be found in my description of her appearance.
Dusk is, portrayed as a mysterious and a bit unsure Tribe member. She can thank her eyes for that. She resorts quickly to challenging others, but is often quiet when she hears people murmuring about her, even when they think she can't hear. An anger is slowly building up throughout her life in her heart, but she keeps it down well enough, resorting to silence to resolve everything. Dusk isn't a big fan of her family either, and doesn't enjoy playing with Dawn or speaking with her parents. She is a solitary soul, despite the way she has others to comfort her. She enjoys to go out alone frequently out in the barren territory to go hunt on her own, or just take a walk. She finds it hugely hard to trust others, and even if she has been around others for a very long time, cannot totally feel safe around them - More will be revealed, since I'm really lacking the ability to describe what I have imagined her as.
History , Dusk was born at, well, dusk. When she first opened her eyes, everyone thought that something had gone horribly wrong with her strange one-marbled eye, but they allowed to give her a chance and see what would happen. She grew up normally, but slowly, gradually, she slipped away from the others of the Tribe. She became more isolated as she grew more independent, and spent less and less time with others even though her parents tried to bring her back. When Dawn was born, Dusk barely cared, and when she received the news, she did not visit, and instead, went out into the woods to hunt some more. The thoughts of her being a demon or unnatural made Dusk keep away from those who thought this to be true.
Example , ...Do I have to? xD Sorry... I think I should make a rule or something that you don't have to make an example more than once if you have more than one character.
