the sound of wingebeats sent Ezio's eyes to the sky. Two dragons locked in combat. He cursed in italian under his breath and turned, his leather greaves sliding on the dirt.
"Later then?" He winked at the ice spirit, sliding onto to Rojan in one swift motion. "Rapidamente!" He yelled and Rojan reared forward, blasting through the forest. He thunering hoofbeats of a warmblood on the run chilled his blood allowing him to stay frosty.
FLASHback!
A black hooded figure strode from the castle gates, a lengthy silver beard the only visible part of him. He was trailed by three from the Creed and a impossibly large golden eagle circled above, signaling the Master was leaving. Ezio stood attention, his young mind clouded by worldly desires. He flinched to attention when the Master called his name. "Ezio! You are coming with me." Ezio gave a swift nod and slipped into the party, their white cloaks blending as one.
They traveled for days across the mountains, but Ezio refused to show weakness to the rocky faces looming above them. WHen they came to a small Villa, they stopped. the master waved the other brothers away.
"Ezio. I have talked to Giovani about your training and it seems you are going to be one of the best assassins since Altiar."
Ezio did nothing and certainly did not take the comment seriously. Compliments were for the weak. "It is time I show you something. But first, you must know that only a true assassin of our Creed wields this power. Altiar and I are the only two men I have even seen with it so focused as my own." Ezio's eyes narrowed.
"Look below Ezio. What do you see?" Ezio knelt on his knee, peering below. Two lightly armored guards were directly below them on the rock face. A heavyset robed man was between them, talking furiously. He made a note of the cart of hay sitting to their right. "Guards master, and another man." He murmured. "Please Ezio, call me Rafiq." Ezio gave him a look but nodded.
"Now, focus on your target. Slow your heart. Let the blazing hot distractions of the world be chilled. Ezio focused, and his breathing slowed. The world around him darkened severly, but a soft light surrounded the guards, blood red. A whit elight raditated form the target, but they were too soft and weak for him to tell if it was real.
"Focus." Rafiq's words were muddled. Ezio took a deep breath and felt ice freeze his throat. The light blinked and became as bright as the sun, the red washing out the details of the guards and the target swathed in yellow gold light. Ezio gasped.
"Good. As I expected, you have the abilities of Altair. This is called Eagle Vision, use it wisely. Now, finish off your target." Ezio prepared to jump, but suddenly a crowd of running civilians bursted from the right, screaming about a caravan crash. Ezio's vision went back to normal. He cursed and slowed his breathing again. This time his Eagle Vision came instantly and he saw his yellow highlighted target running in the crowed as his guards charged against it. Ezio jumped forward 50 feet above them, his arms out like and eagles wings and his toes pointed. He flipped forward and shut his eyes as he flipped so that he would land on his back. He hit the hay with such a force that he was buried inside it. the Leap of Faith was another trademark of his Creed. He flipped from the hay cart and set off at a sprint, letting his blood cool to gain his eagle vision. HIs target was not far ahead, his physical features slowing him. Being a fit young man allowed Ezio to soar across the dirt with agility. A meter from his target he leaped upward and swung his right arm back, clenching it into a fist. His wrist blade flew out and he injected it into the man's neck from behind, felling him. Ezio pulled the blade free and flipped the target onto his back, holding his head in his bloodied arm.
"Resto nela pace." He whispered and flicked a white feather from his belt, sliding it across the mans neck until the tip was blood red.
endFLASHback!
Ezio slipped into Eagle vision and Rojan's black body turned a glowing blue. he reached into his belt and pulled a knife from it and threw it ahead of him, and the forest guard clutched his throat in agony, blubbering profusely before going silent. He turned his face upward and chucked another blade at the golden yellow shape above him. Rafiq must have given him orders to help, but with his vision affected by Eagle Vision he couldn't tell whether he had hit the bounty hunter's dragon or Ragne's.

The things I've held sacred that I've dropped
I won't lie no more you can bet
I don't want to learn what I'll need to forget
I like throwing my voice and breaking guitars
Cause it doesn't remind me of anything
I like playing in the sand what's mine is ours
If it doesn't remind me of anything)"
