Yes... I have to admit, I'm a little confused to how these are different to dæmons...
I will be here
when you think you’re all alone
Seeping through the cracks
I’m the poison in your bones
My love is your disease
I won't let it set you free
Til I break you
You’ll never know what hit you
Won’t see me closing in
I’m gonna make you suffer
This hell you put me in
I’m underneath your skin
The devil within
You’ll never know what hit you
I tried to be the lover to your nightmare
Look what you made of me
Now I’m a heavy burden that you can’t bear
Look what you made of me
Look what you made of me
I’ll make you see

I don't quite know what a daemon is.
I did look up the difference, and came up with
this.

This basically sums up a daemon:
"A Daemon is an animal representation of the "soul" of a person. It must walk beside them at all times, and can not stray more than a few feet. It feels the pain of the individual and can speak to them telepathically. Daemons and their humans are very closely bonded, and need each other to survive. Male humans will have female Daemons, and female humans will have male Daemons."
But I don't know, do they seem similar to you?

Nickname:
Number of Animal Totems: 3
Which animals?: Red Point Siamese, Siberian Husky and Caracal
Reason for each: A red point siamese is ... pretty close to what I am like without on the surface - thin and odd +talkative but pretty and intelligent (or so I like to think) I also borrowed a siamese for 2 weeks whilst waiting for my new kitten to be desexed, and we got on amazingly well - I'm specifically a red one because I don't feel that I am traditional enough for Chocolate,Lilac or Seal points, but more siamese-y looking/acting then, say, a tortiseshell point.
I'm a siberian husky because some family friends of owned two of them, whom I pretty much grew up with, and ... I just get them. They're my heartbreed ^^ and they make me feel safe.
I'm (or should I say Wei?) a Caracal because my Daemon is a Caracal - theres really too much to go into here, but they fit me so amazingly well it's silly - PM me if you need more reasons ^^
Other: Cool group. I'm happy to explain Daemonism to people if they want?

They do seem slightly similar, I admit. However, there are a few distinct differences.
Animal totems do not represent you, you are not the totem. They are merely guides, compainions that have a strong meaning to you.

*cannot believe that I didn't realise this earlier* ;^;
Username: Nightingale~
Nickname: Night, Nighty, Abi etc. Whatever strikes your fancy~ x3
Number of Animal Totems: One <3
Which animals?: Barn swallow - here and here~
Reason: At my stables, there is a single family of swallows. Every summer, they nest in my horse's stable, and I love watching the chicks growing, and then their amazing aerial stunts that they pull off when they leave the nest. They always make me feel calmer, happier, and more at peace with myself, just by watching them. I could quite literally, watch them for hours. I think they also are my animal totem because I only see them in summer, because they migrate to Africa in winter. When they're gone, I always feel sad, and I don't like winter anyway. It has always been my dream to follow the swallows to a warmer place, because I hate the cold.
When I was younger, I used to ropeplay with myself in my mind. Even though I didn't always pretend I was a swallow, I was more often than not, a bird. I think they represent the wish that I have always held close to my heart: That I was a bird, free to fly wherever I pleased. I also think they are simply gorgeous creatures, just the way they move so easily through the air causes me to stop and stare. <333
Other: Oh my gosh, I love their tails. 8DDD
