Redpaw scrambled up and nearly pounced on it, but it darted away. Redpaw raced after it, claws unsheathed. She finally got near it, so she pounced onto it, pinning it with her claws and biting at its neck. She panted heavily and brought it back to Stripepelt.

Redpaw picked up the mouse, bluebird, and rabbit she had caught and brought them all back to camp, limping lightly. She put them all in the fresh kill pile and sat down, panting. She groomed her fur and sighed. She WAS feeling better. Now that she had used her leg a little more, even though it was broken, the feeling was returning to it.
