However, note that during the fall I might, only one day per week, be able to get on for about 30 mins. Otherwise, all 7 days of the week I am on. If I would, by some rare chance, have to miss an entire day or so, I would message the people that need to know and I would also post it in my signature.

How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit?
Weekends can mean up to 8 - 12 hours, weekdays can mean up to 5 - 7.

Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position?
I am a frequent on the Younger People Wanting Advice From Adults Post HERE thread, and I also sometimes float around the CS Suggestions and problems forum. In RL, I am known as the "Therapist" among my small group of friends, and I also help people out via PM here on CS. I go over the rules of the forums and threads and often refer back to them and check them over a few times, so I am solid when it comes to rules.

People in RL generally ask me questions about anything. There have been many random strangers that come up to me, of all people, to ask for favors and to ask random questions. ^^'

I know English very well (I have the same reading and writing levels that people about 5 years older than me have; I am an active participant in many Semi-Lit+ RPs), and I have learned level two Spanish, and I am taking level three Spanish courses as well. I am also studying Italian, German, and French languages.

Over time on CS, I have been asked questions on how to set up avatars, signatures, how BBC? code works, and much more. I also have a slight amount of knowledge on HTML code and I also can edit pictures and work my way around a post. ^^

Why do you want to be a General Helper?

When I first arrived at CS, like any other user, I was utterly confused. Being the silly newbie I was, I posted on the intro forum, and then went straight to the open forums. I knew nearly nothing. Along the way, some very kind, patient, and knowledgeable CS members helped me out. I never once thought of going to the staff, because I almost never saw them, thus not knowing we actually had a staff! So, basically, one reason why I want to become a newbie helper is to give back to the community.

The second reason? In RL, I am told I am very helpful, not only advice or info-wise, but also physically, like if I need to edit a newspaper article or help someone bring a musical instrument down the hill to the stadium. I enjoy helping people, and I don't usually need a "Thank you" in return. It is a reward in itself, and I am ever so greatful that I can help the person.

The thired reason is because I love this site. I spend more time here than on any other site, and I stay on here more than I watch television or do reading/writing (I do love my reading and writing, though!). I know this site pretty much inside and out, and this is the site I love most and am most comfortable with. This is also the website in which I felt most welcomed.

So, in summary, I want to become a General Helper beacause...
1. I want to give back to the fantastic, welcoming community of CS.
2. I have a "history" of being helpful. I like to help others no matter the case, and it is very rewarding.
3. I love the site, and the site is almost like a second home.

I try to visit at least once a day, but sometimes school can cut time on here a little more than I'd like.

I spend at least an hour or two on weekdays, and more on weekends whenever possible.

I'm currently studying Spanish. I don't consider myself an expert, but I know quite a bit about trade values. I usually stalk debates, but I try my best to answer any questions people may have, or direct them to someone who does.
6. Why do you want to be a General Helper?
I love helping people out, and as I've needed help in the past, I'd be grateful if someone considered me knowledgeable enough to ask me for help. Even if it was just one person, I'd love to help them make the most out of their time on CS. It's granted much happiness to myself over past the two years I've been on here.

How many days a week do you usually visit CS?: Usually seven days a week. Very occasionally I might miss a single day ;3

How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit?: During the school year anywhere from 90 minutes to 2 hours. During the summer I'm able to be on six hours a day or more :3

Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position:

- I am one of two main answerers on the 'How much is this item worth?' Thread.
- I always use correct grammar, capitalization, spelling, and punctuation, so I would be able to answer intelligently.
- I think about how my answer would affect the person I am helping out and try to fit it to their needs, whether it means explaining something super patiently or asking them to explain their question again.
- I'm willing to cruise the forums and answer any and all questions to the best of my ability.
- I run a successful art shop and adoptables thread, so I would be able to help users out with any questions concerning Photobucket, Tinypic, growing adoptables, paint programs, etc.
- I would never go as far as to say that I 'Speak Spanish' but I do know a few simple sentences, common words, etc. I am also learning some Italian on the side :3
- I usually try my best to keep up to date with event threads, Monthly Swaps, and new litter discussions C:
- I can type 89 words per minute, which might come in handy at some point x3

Why do you want to be a General Helper?:

Simply put, I want to help out ;3 I always have loads of free time on CS after checking new posts/events, that I would love to fill with answering questions. I'm not in it for the glory or name recognition, but simply to be a worthy member of CS and also, okay, give me something to do so that I'm not randomly zooming around the forums x3 CS has been the only website I've really grown to love, and getting to know some of my good friends was really a great experience for me. I'd love to give back in any way I can :3

Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position: Well I help identify the names of pets for people. I don't speak any other languages besides Latin but I've never seen anyone speak Latin on here so I guess I can't help with that besides the fact that I have Google translate. I found myself good at mediating problems and assessing solutions for them. I'm also pretty good with setup of everything as a member you can do.
Why do you want to be a General Helper? I love helping people out in real life, so naturally I would like to help make CS a better place. I haven't helped people before because I kind of thought you have to have an official title to help people. I promise that even if I don't become a General Helper that I will still try to help people with their problems. Plus honestly I would really like to finally have an official position/job on CS. I've never felt better then when I help someone out. I want to improve my helping abilities and improve myself in this way. Thank you for possibly considering me, it means a lot. Well, the applications only opened today. I think they'll be up for at least 5 days, so you could have a change then. You just have to keep in mind that there are other members with applications, and some have been here for 2-3 years. ^^;

Nearly everyday, unless I'm at my mom's house or a friend's.

During the summer I stay on the computer when I can; so nearly 7-9 hours randomly through out the day. During the school year, I'm able to get on 4-8 hours a day during the week, and 7-9 hours on weekends I'm home. I'm a home-body so I'm able to stay on the Internet longer.

I don't patrol the forums looking for questions; but I try to help when I can, if nobody had helped with the correct information yet. I try my best to be a friendly person (If there's one thing my Mama taught me; its that Mean People Suck.), and even when I'm placed in a situation with a rude individual, I try to keep calm and solve the problem with kindness and respect, and not with disrespect and anger; there is no need for anger towards anybody.

6.Why do you want to be a General Helper?:

I'd like to be a general helper because I like to give back to Chicken Smoothie in my own way (This is the best way possible, that I can think of. xD). Every month we are presented with wonderfully drawn line-arts with beautiful designs; and given a oekaki and forum that is sometimes abused. I'd like to be a general helper to help maintain this wonderful site and give answers to user old and new who have questions. I know there are tons of people more qualified than I am, but I'm not applying just to get a pink name; I'm applying to help Chicken Smoothie.

How many days a week do you usually visit CS?: Probably every day on a usual week. It almost always changes to a smaller amount when I am on vacation.
How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit? I think I spend an average of four hours or more on regular days.

Since I am kind of older on CS, I can usually tell if a trade is slightly or outrageously unfair. However, I probably don't know exact values unless I search for them. I don't speak any other languages fluently, though unlike other people who don't bother to pay attention to text speak I can usually figure out what people using this "language" are spelling. I am pretty good at using BBCode and can use every button at the top of this editor except the list buttons
Why do you want to be a General Helper?: I want to be able to aid CS which has consumed most of my computer time. It feels very rewarding when I help someone. C:
