Maybe coding, animating... I really don't speak another language. I know I can always help around the forums but I know the basic ropes of CS. I trade pretty fairly and have gotten to learn rarities pretty well. I know I can be very nice and helpful but other times I'm strict when someone breaks the rules. I have never broken the rules myself so there's another reason to appoint me :3

Why do you want to be a General Helper?:

I think it'd be an honor to work on a website that I have always wanted to work on for a while. Let's face it...my posts aren't very wordy, and it sounds like I'm trying to suck up to you..so I may not win. Thought it was worth a shot. :3
Anyways, back to why- I think I know a little *coughcoughalotcoughcough* about CS. I would always be there to help. I don't get frustrated and my only warning was saying to someone, "This is a terrible trade." I've grown from that and I'm pretty nice to the members. I can explain things without getting annoyed even if it is repeatedly asked, and I know I'll probably get double the worse trades, but I'll deal with it and be polite. I always spell-check my posts but there are little mistakes here and there. I wouldn't be bossy, just helping. I would also quit most of the RP's I'm in and focus on helping. Thanks for maybe [ probably not, lol ] considering me for the wonderful application of becoming a general helper. I also want to thank you for opening this. How many days a week do you usually visit CS? All seven days! ^^

How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit? About nine or ten hours a day.

Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position (this is not required) (for example do you speak any other languages, or have you had any experience in peer mediation? Do you consider yourself a trade-value expert? Do you already answer a lot of questions in the forum?) I tend to answer questions, and usually know whether a trade is good or not. I also send gifts to many new users to welcome them to CS, and enjoy helping people. I'm also a regular role player (Semi-literate to literate on occasion), so I can explain things thoroughly. I know all the basic usages of the site, and can help any role players with color, and centering, also with signatures, Profiles, uploading pictures, and linking.

Why do you want to be a General Helper? I want to be a helper, because I enjoy helping people the most I can. I'm a fairly kind-hearted person, and enjoy seeing others understanding something that they couldn't before because I have helped them with it. I believe I could be a great addition to the team of General Helpers, and would always do my best to make sure that others questions are answered quickly, and in a friendly, explained manner.

Sadly, yes, I do have one. But I feel that it was unnecessary, because I was simply pouring out my torn heart to the person who tore it, sending a PM, and I got a warning for it because I believe the mod said it was classified as harassment, when I had not meant to harass the member at all. I said I was sorry for it and I truly was and am.

I could definitely bring some skills into the position. First off, I speak five languages. English is my first language. Then Spanish. French. Italian. And Portuguese. I am fluent in the first four. Portuguese is still a little rusty, but I get by.

All four years of high school, I was in the Leadership Program, along with Peer Mediation as my elective course. I have been on CS for almost three years, and over that period time I have helped people with questions, and provided them with relevant, detailed answers.

Why do you want to be a General Helper?
I spend most of my time on CS, more so, than the hours a week I spend at my job. I have been a dedicated member for years now, and I think the position is a perfect job for me. I love answering questions. And even if I don't know the answer to something, I contact someone that does, to learn. To help people. I enjoy helping (:

I am a very good people person, with good communication skills. And this is also why I would love the position.

Customarily between four to five hours, and when school is going on, two to three, roughly. Not all in one brick though; there are generally one or two hours in between, if manageable.

Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position:
I am currently learning Japanese - I'm not quite at the level to put this as a 'skill' - yet I thought this would be helpful to know. Learning a language teaches you patience, and it certainly comes with a certain level of determination! I like to think that I have that now, actually. :3
I am calm when faced with a problem - it's quite the virtue to have serenity, but not only for yourself! When other people see you as smooth, it helps them keep themselves in check - at least, that's what I've observed.
I answer some questions in the forum, but I noticed that a lot of people PM me for help. It's really awesome to come online and see that someone picked you for help - and it's even better to help them!
At a loss of what to put here, I hope that you can see I'm not so much of a babbling person. I tend to go on, and on, but~~ Ha, I suppose it's just the way I'm wired. I love to help people and I hope people see my username as a friendly, here-to-help-one, even if it's not in a salmon pink. X3 I simply love talking to people and making them feel 'at home' - even if we're on the internet.

Why do you want to be a General Helper?:
Spending a lot of time on CS has made me note that I really, really like it here - and I want to make sure that everyone get the full enjoyment out of the site as well. More often than not, they have a few questions that could be answered, and I'd love to answer them. <3
Still having the days of being a newbie at my heels, I still remember how it feels to have a lot of questions! Keeping the relative thoughts [and questions] in the back of my mind really helps when it comes to explaining things, and I've forever felt open when people ask me questions. It helps to know that someone has been where you have. I've tossed the idea of being a General Helper around in my mind, and I always came to the same verdict of knowing this is what I want. Of course, though, this is why I'm applying - but I can generally help without my name being a different color, and I've got to remember that!
Answering questions always brings a certain rush to the table; the best feeling, though, is knowing that you helped someone out. Even having others know that you're here to help is an adrenaline spark of its own. I love helping others, and that is the reason why I would love to be a General Helper.    I try to visit everyday, at least to check up on threads, pets and what not.
4. How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit?
   Over all? Well probably around 3 hours but not in concentrated blocks of time. Those hours are spread out over the whole day and I mean the WHOLE day. This includes when I'm up at 2 am, though that might change once school starts for me I'll be on until at least 11 central time. ^_^
5. Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position
   This is the hard part, hehehehe. Well I am taking spanish and czech, but I'm a beginner beginner in both. I can't speak german but my dad yells at me in it all the time so I can sort of understand parts of that language. XD Over all though I'm a pretty cheerful person, that has a lot of patience with people. I work with large parrots on a regular basis and so I've learned that when a parrot bites you he's just confused or upset by something and the best way to react is to talk them in a calm soothing voice and figure out what's really wrong. I normally apply this to people who are being mean. I've also learned how to work with very stubborn amazons that always think they know what they're doing, and I know how to calmly direct them in the right direction even when this makes them want to rip of my face with their beak. I've learned how to be calm and loving but firm with my birds and I hope to have the same attitude towards confused member young and old. I Role-played since I was 8 and only quit last year, so I can help out with that board if need be. I'm on the board of my GSA, so I'm really good with diversity and I know where to find those "kinds" of threads here on CS for those that want support. ^_^
6. Why do you want to be a General Helper?
   Well mostly because I've been talked into applying by a few people, but I also want to for the same reasons as nearly everyone else here. I love helping confused things, be they animal or human. Nothing makes me happier than when I know I've truely helped someone. I used to help out on the boards a bit before I became a bit inactive near the end of the school year, and it always made me smile when I gave a newer member a free pet. I always loved how happy it made them, because nothing makes me happier than when I can make other people happy. Oh wait I already said that about helping people didn't I? Hmm well Helping people and making people happy both make me grin like a moron so I suppose they're pretty equal in the "how happy they make me" scale. Anyways, now that I'm back and active again I want to go back to what I was doing before. Whether or not I get the job, though, I'm going to keep helping people. Honestly the colorful name would just help people in need find me easier. ^_^ I'm here for everyone, no matter what your background or problem. <3

I tend to be able to hold my tongue without getting harsh with people, and I have been on for a while, and have helped many newer people figure out the ropes. 8D I like to think I am helpful with general problems, as well as layout and signature issues. I have a good idea of trade fairness, and I can definitely help with image upload issues. I do answer questions whenever I run across them.
