How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit? ; Usually the whole day, unless I have something planned! At least two hours.

Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position (this is not required) (for example do you speak any other languages, or have you had any experience in peer mediation? Do you consider yourself a trade-value expert? Do you already answer a lot of questions in the forum?) ; I think I am pretty good at trade-value, and I think I know a lot about CS. I am currently learning French.

Why do you want to be a General Helper? ; I remember when I first started, I didn't know how to get to the main page! i was stuck on the Forums page. My friend helped me through it. With out her, (Cookie123 I think, She quit...), I would've never discover CS! I would like to be a General Helper because, I mainly like to help people. I think I know a lot about CS, And I would like to share the information with new people! I think I can do more to help CS, And I would love to help!

I'm not quite sure, since I'm off an on all day. Probably a lot, though. At least 3, I'd think.

Not really. I do know the forums and the rules and CS very well, though. I also know computers pretty well, so I can help with computer problems, too. (:

Why do you want to be a General Helper?
I think it would be fun to help out the newer players, and of course they need a lot of help. I know what it's like to be on a new site and have nobody to show you around. It's not fun. I just wanna make sure they have some help. ^^ I also really love helping others out. I'm in a lot of clubs on here where you help other complete their collections, and those are where I spend most of my time. So, yeah...I just wanna help out.

During the summer, I get online pretty much every day unless I'm on vacation. Even then, I search for Wi-Fi.
During the school year, I try to get on every single day and I'm guaranteed to get on during the weekends.

4. How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit?
I'm online at least two to three hours a day. Sometimes it isn’t all in one sitting, but I do constantly look for time to get on. Some days I'll be sitting at the computer all day, only taking a break to eat or go to the bathroom.

5. Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position?:
I have been a peer mediator in school 4 years and counting. I do consider myself to be quite proficient when it comes to trades. I'm always welcoming new members who I come across and invite them to ask me questions any time. I've had quite a bit of experience with the site's oekaki program, so any questions related to that will be answered completely. I feel very confident with the rules of Chickensmoothie.

I am capable of responding to questions-even the ones who have been asked multiple times- with calmness and I am also able to reword answers in case my original explanation failed. My inbox is always open and my messages are an organized mess.


6.Why do you want to be a General Helper?
I enjoy helping people and absolutely love seeing people happy after they've received an answer. It will make me feel like my time on Chickensmoothie is productive if I am able to help more people out. I know that some new members only run into those few people who aren’t the most understanding or friendly. It really isn’t a fun feeling to be new and constantly yelled at, and I want to make sure that people new to CS are welcomed with open arms and a smiling face post.

I'd like to help cs as a general helper
I am polite,friendly,careing,helpful and no i dont bite
I've made over 700 posts! and i am proud to be a citisen of cs
I know spainish(but very little),english,french(quite a bit),british english,and i can use an app i have on my computer to translate the most common languages like chineese and portigeese
and i visit cs all day but every other weekend or unless i have an activty to take part in (I LOVE festivities!)
wich is about 6/7 days and about 4-7 hours a day
my self i have lots of experince with peer meditation and have been on cs from Wed Sep 22, 2010 3:21 am
so thats my applacation
and my knoledge of the internet is wide span(rather abundant)for example i can make a video ad to put on youtube or fix a banner from a banner site and link it to a paticular form or site

How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit? About 2 1/2 - 3 hours a day.

Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position (this is not required) (for example do you speak any other languages, or have you had any experience in peer mediation? Do you consider yourself a trade-value expert? Do you already answer a lot of questions in the forum?) Pepper definitely has a skill for keeping an eye out for people who break rules, and she definitely is good at answering questions that various chickensmoothiers have for her. Shortstop has a good trade-value experience. c: (Pepper may have a bit more experience than Shortstop, as she has been on for a year more than he has. ) Also we both speak Latin and Greek.

Why do you want to be a General Helper?
Being a helper has been one of our CS dreams ever since we started playing this site. We think that being a helper would let us look toward different horizons and hopefully help others out who need it. We would love to be a part of this site, and be a part of the whole CS family.

to start, I really enjoy helping players here get an idea of the forum and how it works, how to trade or find certain pets they might be looking for. In "the real world" I work in guest services, so Im used to and enjoy helping people with even the simplest questions. I have been a moderator on a mmrpg called mesa-ro and a general admin on the forum for that game.

Why do you want to be a General Helper?
I think it would be great to be able to more actively help out the community and the players here :3 I think when a person is new to a community or forum it seems a bit intimidating, and hard to fit in, Ive felt that way at other forums, but never here, and by being able to greet and welcome and help old and new members I can help others feel welcomed and accepted here too

Even though I never had an official 'job' in which I helped others, I am known as the 'go-to guy' for questions and problems. I'm pretty good at trading, I know a bit more than the ropes. I always try to greet a new member on the introduction section when I have time and try to answer their questions.
6.Why do you want to be a General Helper?
The main reason I want to be a General Helper is that I always got help from other members when I was new. Not all of them were of the General Helper position, per se, but I feel like I have a debt or duty as a ChickenSmoothie member to help others. I want to help new, or even old members out as they did for me. I've been here for more than a year now, and I've seen the kindness of other people as they help out their fellow members. I was that person who didn't know what was a PM or thread was! Without the help of others I would still be clueless. I want to give back to the community. I know that there are many other members who might be a better job, but either way I will still send a PM or tackle a question.

Normally everyday, over the past 10 days though I have been on holiday

Hmm 2 hours but usually more-about 4-5 hours and occasionally I spend 10 hours here.

5.Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position:
I do try to help when I can, I used to send new members a newbie package with some uncommon old pets to help them get started on their collection, Going to start that again soon. I dont get into fights, unless its with my sister. I really like helping other players, and I even wrote a big guide on using CS which I gave to my best friend when she joined. I know 99% of the rules off by heart and by now I know how everything works. Oh yes, nearly forgot which languages I can do, well I do English (of course) and french. Im alright at Spanish and Croatian. I can also use a translator to talk to people who speak other languages

6.Why do you want to be a General Helper? I want to be a general helper becuase it brings a smile to everyones face. Saying hi to all these people from all over the world, it's a great opurtunity to make new friends. I want to help and keep people from disobeying rules in the nicest way possible. I dont like shouting, it hurts your throat and other peoples feelings but I dont let it get to me nor do I shout at others. I know how everything works on the site so I want to show other people and I'd be happy to start my newcommer gifts again
