• Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position (this is not required) (for example do you speak any other languages, or have you had any experience in peer mediation? Do you consider yourself a trade-value expert? Do you already answer a lot of questions in the forum?) I can speak tiny bits of Japanese and am teaching myself French. I've already learned a few words. I'm also quite good at the computer and have helped my friend and my nan fix their computers. I've also fixed my screen once. I have answered a few questions on the forum but not many. I'm also quite good at getting people to join things(I have gotten my friends to buy a book and a few of them to join cs).
• Why do you want to be a General Helper? It's my dream to be a staff(well close enough to) on cs. I think I could help somebody quite well too. I love the thought of people PMing ME for help. I'm on cs a lot longer than I should be and have welcomed a few new people. I don't mind people PMing me at anytime, even if it's just to say hello. I post often on rps and love to do pictures for others. There isn't much more to say but I hope you could consider me anyway. As soon as my friend told me about this I asked for the link.

Seven.

I'd say two at the minimum for school nights - as I work on my homework I normally have my laptop with me and I frequently check CS, so I'm basically on until I go to bed.
On the weekend I probably spend 4-5+ hours, I'm a night owl. :3
Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position:
I am in french immersion, so I am fluent in french, and I also might be picking up a bit of Spanish this year - I've heard our principal teaches leadership in Spanish. I also plan on teaching myself a bit of German throughout the year in my spare time. I am quite familiar with BBCode, and have a basic understanding of HTML. I'm learning, though. I also love to research topics, it's something I usually do in my spare time, and if someone would happen to ask me a question that I don't know the answer to, I would try my best to be able to come back to the user with a helpful and informative answer.
Why do you want to be a General Helper?
When I was new I didn't receive any help, and though I figured out the website with time, I would have appreciated having someone I could PM with the questions I may have had at the time. I love helping people and I love Chicken Smoothie, and I feel that being a General Helper would be the perfect job for me. Some people have told me I'm a tad too polite - online and off, but I doubt that could hurt. I try my best to be kind and patient both on and offline also, so if someone were to approach me rudely I would try to calm the other person down, and then continue to answer their question.

Usually 7 days, or maybe 6. It's usually 7, since I have plenty of free time.

3 hours, or maybe more.

Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position?:
• I speak english and I speak spanish fluently.
• I am a conflict resolver, and I do not get angry very easily.
• I help users often {I may also gift free pets to new users}, and I do answer many questions. {I am part of a help team that helps new users out.} I also visit the 'CS Suggestions and Help' and 'Introductions' part of the forum quite often.
• I know all the rules of CS, and the extra rules listed on certain parts of the forum.
• I never have at temper, and I will not get mad over the silliest things.
• I have knowledge on trading, fonts, and I do have plenty of tips to share to new members.
• I am kind, and I am very helpful.

Why do you want to be a General Helper?
I've always admired the general helpers. They helped pretty often, were there to ask questions; just generally being a helper. Even the little things they did, it helped out big in the community for the new users. If CS didn't have general helpers, new users wouldn't get help they needed all the time, or they wouldn't get correct information needed to answer there question. They might not feel as welcome.

I've always wanted to be part of the general helpers. I love to help out people, I'm really helping. Even the little things I do to help, help out the new user, and many other users. I've always loved to help people. That's why I joined a topic to help people. My family and friends even say that I am very helpful.

I never have a temper, and I won't get angry at people just for little things. I don't mind answering the same questions over and over again. I am a mini-mod in some threads, so I do answer the same questions over and over again. I have lots of tips to share, and I do have knowledge on trading, fonts, and things like that. I am kind, and I am almost never rude. I'd love to help out new users, and just generally help.

What date did you register as a CS member?: I joined on Oct 20, 2010.
How many posts have you made in the forum (at the time of applying): I have posted 755 times.
How many days a week do you visit CS? I go on CS everyday.
How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit? Depends, but usually from around 2-5 hours each day.
Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position? I am a good leader and am very patient with people. I reply to PM's first when I log on to CS so if I get asked a question, I give the best with detailed explanations so the user gets what I'm saying and if I don't know the answer to something, I lead them to a thread that would help or I would try to figure the answer out with some help from information on different threads. I am good with trades and rarities so I know what is fair.
Why do you want to be General Helper? I love helping users in need and who are just stuck with a question. It would be a dream come true if I got to be a helper on CS because since I ever joined, I have been longing to be a part of the CS community that helps users in need. I have my own adoptions center that is going pretty smoothly which is called Forever Free Adopts. In all of my groups, there is one called 'FOREVER FREE ADOPTS' and users who want pets from there can take 2 everyday.

Do you have to be over a certin age? Or does it not matter?

There isn't an age limit but you are expected to be able to post on the forums so COPPA'd users won't be able to qualify.

In the school term, around 5/6 hours ? In the holidays, I'm pretty sad. Basically all day on and off. Although I might sometimes go camping/to a different country (But I'd warn in my signature if I was going away).
Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position (this is not required):
I'm not sure, really. I speak a little french and spanish but I'm not sure that's going to get me far. I guess I sometimes answer questions in the CS suggestions and problems section but otherwise I don't have many extra skills.
Why do you want to be a General Helper?:
I'd just love to help out. Chickensmoothie is a great site and I'd really like to help introduce new people, and encourage them to hopefully stay. I think of myself as rather nice and approachable, and It'd be great to take part in helping everyone with their problems. I'm pretty experienced on this site too. I really like cs and I want to lend a hand.

July 29, 2009. That makes it just over two years since I joined.

How many days a week do you usually visit CS?
Seven days a week, without fail. This is excluding my Christmas holiday though, because I have relatives who live a long way off so I visit them for a few weeks a year. Also the occasional camping or sporting trips but those tend to be four days or less.

How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit?
Usually about three or four hours on week days. Around seven or more during holidays and weekends when I don't have other activities on [and depending on how much internet I have left that month. I usually don't get near my limit, but I do have an alowance ;n;]. The only website I frequent is CS, [I don't have a facebook and prefer not to visit all the other pet sites I joined] so I could and would happily spend my undivided attention on anyone that needs help here.

Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position

I am a German student, and whilst I can't really hold a full blown conversation I can translate small bits and pieces. I also know scraps of French and Maori ID.

I am a very flexable person and can adapt and deal with almost anything when needed. I prefer people who are literate but I will be equally willing to help anyone who uses text speak or cannot speak very good english. I'd like to think I am very polite and patient towards people and do not blow my top unless I get sevral rude remarks shoved at me. I enjoy giving people help and explaining things and am used to having to explain things to people, who in my mind, seem like the don't know much. I use CS oekaki alot and can give people a basic over view of that. I can also explain in fairly good detail pretty much every other aspect of this site. I also know quite alot about uploading pictures to other sites to post here, how to link stuff and various other skills that could help people.

I have experience helping people alot and know what duties, benifits and problems come from having a coloured name. I have staffed on MWCA and whilst I was a writer they had no general or newbie helpers so people came to all other staff members, especially writers because they seemed scared of mods and admins. I had to put up with many a dumb question, many newbies and all sorts of other things. I also ended up giving out many pets and befriending many new members. My username was Moss Sky, incase you were wondering. I am no longer a staff member there by the way because I quit to free up more time for CS.

Why do you want to be a General Helper?

I would like to be a general helper on CS because I enjoy knowing I have been able to please others. I also feel that whilst my time on CS is very much enjoyable I would be able to make better use out of it by being able to help people who need it. I know when I was a newbie I had simply no idea what on earth I was doing and having someone to lean on would have done me a world of good. I feel that with the oppertunity of this position I have the chance to help people who, like I once was, are confused and unsure about this game. I want to be able to submit to the community more than just adding to discussions, I want to be able to share everything I have learnt. I feel that CS has given me alot of knowledge, maturity and the ability to deal with people alot better and so with this position I would like to utilize what CS has given to me. I feel like I'm starting to waffle a tad so I shall draw the line here.

I'm usually very kind, happy and willing to talk if anyone would like to. I spend most of my life on CS but asides from that I'm interested in most animals and drawing. I want to work for a Rat Rescue Center but I don't have the money to look after lots of sick ratties. I try to be helpful and usually manage to solve problems for people. Sometimes I fail but I will always try my best at things because I hate failing. I also feel like I have become much more mature over the last year or two. I don't think I could have coped with this job any earlier than now but I feel I'm sensible enough now to polietely deal with anyone and do as best I can, even if I don't get this job.

I am in Peer Mediation and some say I'm a good trader. I have answered many questions people have had about the forum and I enjoy doing so.
Why do you want to be a General Helper?
I want to be a general helper because I love helping new members and answering questions. I would be on most of the day almost everyday and I would always be able and willing to help. I love CS and would love to give back by helping out and keeping the forum free of fights and problems.
