Reggie couldn't breathe and started to fight beneath Demon, his legs kicking.

Coya shook her head, "Demon, please. Let him go for me." then one of Reggie's flailing legs smacked her in the face.

Demon snarled and pressed harder, "For that... Never." he said, growling louder.

Coya was starting to get desperate - and a little dizzy - and she pressed fully into Demon, trying to push him off, "Demon, please."

Demon growled, "Worthless mutts don't deserve to live!" he said, his eyes flashing in anger.

Reggie finally passed out from lack of air beneath Demon.

Coya pressed a little harder, "Demon, he's out. It's no longer a problem."

Demon gave one last snarl and backed away, stalking into the forest, needing to let off steam.

Coya followed, ignoring Reggie and the little collie who was checking on the shepherd, "Demon! Demon, wait." she walked to his side.

Demon glanced at her but continued walking, his claws digging into the earth with every step.

Coya steped in front of him and pressed her chest to his, laying her head against his side, "Demon, it's okay now."
