Arctic and Dagger were heading away from the cave, in seacrh of a den farther away from Bloodstain's pack. Dagger was galloping through the trees, chasing rabbits and birds, while Arctic padded steadily along.

Snowflake stomped along behind her mother. "Why do we have to move? Why can't we just kill the pup?" She asked quietly.

Arctic snapped at Snowflake. "We'll move when I say we'll move, and we'll take care of the pup when I say so!" she hissed through her teeth. "Now go and hunt."

Dagger was too busy chasing a pheasant to care what the who white wolves were saying. He had no inteantion of killing the bird, but he wanted to see if he could outwit it and somehow corner it. In the end, the pheasent simply flew away, and Dagger returned to Arctic empty-handed.
