Me and my friends are creeping each other out with spooky stories. here's on we just told...
One night a woman went out for drinks with her friends. She left the bar fairly late at night, got in her car and onto the deserted highway. She noticed a lone pair of headlights in her rear-view mirror, approaching at a pace just slightly quicker than hers. As the car pulled up behind her she glanced and saw the turn signal on — the car was going to pass — when suddenly it swerved back behind her, pulled up dangerously close to her tailgate and the brights flashed.

Now she was getting nervous. The lights dimmed for a moment and then the brights came back on and the car behind her surged forward. The frightened woman struggled to keep her eyes on the road and fought the urge to look at the car behind her. Finally, her exit approached but the car continued to follow, flashing the brights periodically.

Through every stoplight and turn, it followed her until she pulled into her driveway. She figured her only hope was to make a mad dash into the house and call the police. As she flew from the car, so did the driver of the car behind her — and he screamed, "Lock the door and call the police! Call 911!"

When the police arrived the horrible truth was finally revealed to the woman. The man in the car had been trying to save her. As he pulled up behind her and his headlights illuminated her car, he saw the silhouette of a man with a butcher knife rising up from the back seat to stab her, so he flashed his brights and the figure crouched back down.

The moral of the story: Always check the back seat...

we were mucking around with an online Ouija board before. Well, I can safely say that online Ouija boards don't work! Here is what we asked:

Us: Hello
Board: Hello
Us: Are you male or female?
Board: Male
Us (being stupid): Do you like bananas?
Board: Suzie
Us: Who is Suzie?
Board: Unclear
Us: We're going to go now
Board: Sam
Us: Goodbye
Board: Goodbye

I really dislike ouija boards because of bad experience but my friends insisted. I have to admit, it was funny. That still doesn't stop me from being really paranoid and thinking that there's something in the house. Every little sound is scaring me!

Here's a random story I made up.

"I'm a Murderer"

Young Kelly was getting ready for Halloween. She had the candy to give out, so she sat next to the door, waiting. A few children came to the house, took a few candies, and moved on. After a little girl named Sara dressed as a princess went, Kelly yawned and was ready to do this for another two hours before she went to bed. After all, it was a school night, and tomorrow Kelly was going to take the SAT. A tiny little boy named Mike came, dressed as Spider man, and a girl named Jenny that was about seven years old was dressed up as Tinkerbell.

Ten minutes later, Kelly found herself rubbing her eyes wearily. But she told herself, two more hours, just two. A little while later there was a knock on the door. "I'm coming." she muttered, getting herself up and taking the bowl of candy with her to the door. She opened the door, and there was a tall little boy, most certainly on stilts. Or was he? He had a foam knife, or was it foam? He was in a ratty old black sheet, or was it a sheet? "What are you supposed to be?" she asked, putting out the bowl of candy. The boy took a piece of candy, ate it, then replied, " I'm a murderer."

"That's a good costume." Kelly said, and she was going to close the door and get some sleep, but the boy followed her in, pinned her to the wall, and drew his knife. "What are you doing?" asked Kelly nervously, pushing the boy away. "I'M A MURDERER!" screamed the boy, and he put the knife closer. "WHAT ARE YOU-" screamed Kelly, but she couldn't finish the sentence. She dropped to the floor lifelessly, leaving the murderer laughing. The murderer walked away.

The next morning, Kelly was found on the floor dripping blood, and on the wall, carved in blood, were the words :"I'm a Murderer".

I have another one, I just don't wanna share it right now.

Hehe, this one's gross...

Something terrible happened to a 10-year-old girl who had braids. The little girl had been wearing her braids in a ponytail for the longest time, and apparently the braids were old, at least 2 to 3 months old, and the mother never took them down to wash them or let them air out or anything.
Anyway, the girl had been complaining to her mother about having a headache for about two weeks, but her mother just brushed it off, assuming that she had hit her head against the wall or something. Well, one morning the child again complained to her mother about having a headache while getting ready for school. Again, the mother brushed her off. When the child got to school, she told her teacher that her head was hurting. The teacher assumed that the braids were too tight in the child's hair and attempted to let the ponytail down. When she removed the hair piece and let the braids loose, there was a spider in the child's hair.
The spider had laid eggs in the child's hair and the spiders were eating her scalp. She was rushed to the hospital, where she later died.
This happened in Monroe, La. It was all over the news and in the papers for about a week or so. Please, parents, don't leave braids or any kind of hair extensions in children's (or your own) hair — no more than 2-3 weeks!

This one is a true story, I think:

BACK IN '75 a young couple, both 18, decided to get married right after high school. The father of the bride lived in Palm Beach in a mansion and was able to afford a big wedding for them. To make a long story short, they got married and the wedding was beautiful.
After the wedding they had a big reception in an old building and everyone got pretty drunk. When there were only about 20 people left, the groom decided that they should play hide-and-seek. Everyone agreed and the groom was "it." They all went and hid and the game went on.
After about 20 minutes everyone had been found except the bride. Everyone looked everywhere and tore the whole place apart looking for her. After a few hours the groom was furious, thinking the bride was playing a terrible trick. Eventually, everyone went home.
A few weeks later the groom, having placed a missing persons report, gave up looking for her. Heartbroken, he tried to go on with his life.
Three years later a little old woman was cleaning the place up. She happened to be in the attic and saw an old trunk. She dusted it off, and, out of curiosity, opened it. She screamed at the top of her lungs, ran out of the building and called the police.
Apparently, the bride had decided to hide in the trunk for the game of hide-and-seek. When she sat down, the lid fell, knocking her unconscious and locking her inside. She suffocated after a day or so. When the woman found her, she was rotting, her mouth in the shape of a scream.
-----------------------------------------------
And one more...

A NEWLYWED husband and wife went to Las Vegas for their honeymoon, and checked into a suite at a hotel. When they got to their room they both detected a bad odor. The husband called down to the front desk and asked to speak to the manager. He explained that the room smelled very bad and they would like another suite. The manager apologized and told the man that they were all booked because of a convention. He offered to send them to a restaurant of their choice for lunch compliments of the hotel and said he was going to send a maid up to their room to clean and to try and get rid of the odor.

After a nice lunch the couple went back to their room. When they walked in they could both still smell the same odor. Again the husband called the front desk and told the manager that the room still smelled really bad. The manager told the man that they would try and find a suite at another hotel. He called every hotel on the strip, but every hotel was sold out because of the convention. The manager told the couple that they couldn't find them a room anywhere, but they would try and clean the room again. The couple wanted to see the sights and do a little gambling anyway, so they said they would give them two hours to clean and then they would be back.

When the couple had left, the manager and all of housekeeping went to the room to try and find what was making the room smell so bad. They searched the entire room and found nothing, so the maids changed the sheets, changed the towels, took down the curtains and put new ones up, cleaned the carpet and cleaned the suite again using the strongest cleaning products they had. The couple came back two hours later to find the room still had a bad odor. The husband was so angry at this point, he decided to find whatever this smell was himself. So he started tearing the entire suite apart himself.

As he pulled the top mattress off the box spring he found a dead body of a woman.

so i was putting in my purple teletubbie stuffed animal (anyone else use to LOVE that show? XD)
Yeah, I used to like it. when I was like 2 years old. XD. Anyways,
In America there was a mass murder. Policemen went to investigate. Trying not to tread on the bodies, they took pictures of each one. One policemen saw something on the opposite wall but he couldn't read it. He walks over to it and sees the numbers "7734" in calculator form, written in blood. When taking pictures of this, he turned his camera upside-down and told an approaching police officer. When he pointed with the hand that the camera was in, he accidentally took a picture of the upside-down numbers. He was about to delete the picture when he realized something. The numbers were now a word. The word was "hELL." Submitted by Olivia

It is said that in Mexico there is a ghost of a woman who drowned her kids. They call her the "Cry Baby" because she cries a lot. She is a wandering spirit, looking for her kids. If you misbehave with your parents she will visit you. She will come out if you are near a pile of water and scream "oh, my children!" It is not safe to look in her face! If you do, death will follow. IF I WERE YOU I WOULD BE NICE TO YOUR PARENTS! The part about the woman drowning her kids is real. I think that the other part about her coming out of the water is true. If you encounter her, I would recommend putting on some ear plugs and running away from her. Submitted by Freddie Martinez

On Halloween in 2003, my family and I went into the city because my mom had bought a car and she needed to make a car payment to the dealer. We decided to take my little sister and her friend trick or treating out there. My mom made her payment and my sister and her friend were trick or treating. It was getting late so we decided that was enough. We ate at a fast food burger joint and began the long drive home. When we were on the freeway, a car was driving right next to us and the driver was wearing a mask, staring right at us. Everybody started to get scared. He was keeping up with us and had his head turned sideways staring for about 10 minutes. Then he looked ahead and drove past us. Submitted by Maurice

Two 18 wheeler trucks were on a highway. The two trucks smashed into each other and all the people died. They took the trucks to the junkyard. A day later, it started to smell. It got worse every day. Finally they took apart the fused trucks and found a VW beetle with the passengers still in there, all dead. Submitted by Jessica

This is something that happened to me,
I was sort of asleep then I started feeling pain, like a burning sort of pain so I woke up and looked at my left side of my back and it had three deep burn marks and I didn't have a heater, electric blanket or any flammable things in my room and it just happened... o_o I also was asleep and I saw my friends and then we were talking about ghosts and stuff and in my dream I saw this ghost girl that sweetdragon always talks about but she looked like she wanted something, then the next day we started talking about ghosts and swear we saw something. And when it was thunder and lightning I keep hearing snakes and it was like I could make out what they were saying or what they were going to do... now I am just fascinated by snakes but the weird thing is I can hear them just barely...
I solemnly swear that I am up to no good.

Re: Scary stories (dont read if you are easily scared)

I swear there's something strange in my house. I'm not the only person to think that either, a few of my friends, and even a couple members of my family have mentioned strange feelings in this house. The back garden and the bathroom are the main areas. When I was little I was scared of my wardrobe, I hadn't been in my old house, but when we moved I got the room with a built in one.

The first year or two was fine, I had never been afraid of the dark or corners of my room, for example. But one day I was walking the dog in one of the fields and got that feeling that I was being watched and followed. Scared the poop out of me, so I ran back home. Ever since then I had a fear of my wardrobe, as if there was something in there, watching. Whatever it is has since moved out of there and taken up shop in the bathroom (of all places -_-), but it still like to wander. It can be gone for days, and the house is all warm and cheery again, but then the light changes and you don't want to make too much noise, just in case.

Recently, it's started learning. I live with my boyfriend and my mother, my boyfriend is a complete skeptic and doesn't (usually) believe in things like this, but even he has agreed there is something here. It's moved on from hiding and watching, to showing itself in shadows that are not attached to anything, and throwing things in the bathroom.

One night in particular we realised just how much it had changed. My mother was out, we knew she'd be back quite late that night as it was a friend of her's birthday. Around 1 am ish, me and my other half were in my room, he was on the computer and I was reading in bed, we heard the door close. I half figured it was my mother as it was almost the right time for her to be back, even though I hadn't heard the car. The dog got up off her chair and ran to the kitchen (we have wooden floors so can hear her claws on the wood) as if to greet her, we heard her stop, sigh, and walk back onto her chair, meaning no-one had come in 'cause she goes all loopy when anyone comes home and as our walls are so thin, we hear everything. So we shrugged it off as just one of those noises that sounds like something it's not, despite being a little wary.

About thirty seconds later we heard the other door open, followed by the porch door (opens into the front garden) and the candlelight from the candles on the table outside moved around, thumped a bit and went out. Both doors slammed. We must have looked like rabbits in headlights by this point as not once had we heard any footsteps. Another twenty seconds or so after this we heard the stairs go, they're like wooden slats and they clunk after weight is placed then removed from them, there was a heavy thump on the landing, right outside our door, the door jumped in its frame which it only ever does when there is a person standing on the other side of it (loose floorboards). We were completely frozen. We heard another light thump in the bathroom and everything went quiet again. My other half very quickly turned off the pc and jumped into bed where we pretty much hid >>;

An hour or so later, a car pulled into the driveway and my mother returned home, for real this time.

I have a good one, slightly gross ending, you can stop reading at the part * The next day * and use your imagination to finish it if your don't want to read my version 8-)
---------
Little Martha lived in the largest mansion all of California. She was an only child and spoiled rotten everyday. Her parents always tried to please her, especially her mother. In fact, her mother believed that Martha was the most wonderful child and deserved only the finest and most exotic things that life could offer.
One week, the mother went on a business trip to a beautiful island. It was full of legends and forgotten culture. One of the most curious stories that as told there, was how much the natives loved dogs. In fact, they worshiped them and completely believed that dogs were the wisest creatures. The people saw how the animals could hear, smell, and sense danger as well as prey. And, dogs could run and leap better than any human. So the people also believed that dogs must be able to tell whether a person was evil and corrupt or good and decent. The natives made idols, crafts, and drawings of dogs to show their respect for them. each piece was considered sacred; the people took great care of the items.
Before the mother left, she of course went shopping in a local market to bring back an exotic item for her beloved daughter. She noticed the many dog figurines and ornaments that filled each hut. Finally, she purchased a beautiful crystal dog that stood a few inches tall.
When she returned, the mother eagerly showed Martha the gift. Martha was furious that her mother only brought back a small shiny trinket but not something grand and huge. So Martha took the crystal dog and threw it down the twelve marble stairs where it then shattered on the floor. Only the head remained intact. The mother was distraught and fled the home with her husband, to give their daughter some space.
That night, Martha put on her silk nightgown and slipped into her canopy bed. Just before she closed her eyes, she thought she heard a small sound. It sounded like glass being clinked together. Ignoring it, Martha tried again to fall asleep. Once again though, she heard a noise. This time it sounded like a scratchy voice. Martha listened closely.
"I'm on the fist step..." it said.
Martha tore off the covers and raced outside her room to look at the stairs. She saw nothing, so she went back to bed. A few minutes later, she heard the voice again. This time is was stronger and a bit louder.
"I'm on the second step..."
Again, Martha went out to see if anything was there. But there still was nothing but the pieces of broken crystal on the stairs and floor.
"I'm on the third step!" said the voice at a much louder volume.
Martha shrieked and ran back into her room and locked the door.
"I'm on the fourth step, I'm on the fifth step," the voice continued. "I am HALFWAY there."
Martha covered her ears with her pillow, but the voice was so loud now.
"I'm on the seventh step, I'm on the eighth step, I'm on the ninth step, I'm on the tenth step, I'm on the eleventh step."
"I AM ON THE LAST STEP!" The voice yelled.
Then there was a short pause. Martha hoped it was a bad dream or at least the voice had gone away.
"I'm... at... your... door... Martha..."
Martha felt tears roll down her cheek. Then she heard a different noise. It sounded like scraping, as if something was sliding under the door.
"You are a bad person Martha... very bad..."
Martha squeezed her eyes shut and waited.
* The next day *
The following morning, the parents returned home. The mother did not see any dishes or anything that meant Martha had eaten breakfast, so the mother decided that Martha must still be in her room. As she made her way up the stairs, she noticed that there was bits of broken crystal on each step.
When the mother entered her daughter's room, she screamed. There were pieces of flesh and blood everywhere, as if her daughter was 'shattered' into a million pieces. And on the bed, she saw her daughter's head. It was the only part completely intact.

-----------

Mark 12:28-31 (NIV) wrote:"Of all the commandments,
which is the most important?"
"The most important one,"
answered Jesus, "is this:
'LOVE the Lord your God
with all your HEART
and with all your SOUL
and with all your MIND
and with all your STRENGTH.'
The second is this:
'LOVE your neighbor as yourself.'
There is no commandment
greater than these."
