Me and Gidy are getting into astral projection, and it's quite hard. I've been trying it for a couple nights on and off cause me and Giddy both keep forgetting. >.< That's about the only thing Giddy ever forgets, so I'm sensing a conspiracy. >.>
Sooo...Question:
When you astral project, would your daemon project with you?

I'm going to assume no one has any idea? because I sure dont. ouo

Any ideas on how I decide which one is most like me?

Ehhh well, those are all fairly different. Fennecs are monogamous, quite social, preyed upon and are general omnivores; barn owls are monogamous but otherwise solitary, preyed upon (unexpectedly) and are precise carnivores; cougars are polgymous, solitary, apex generalist carnivores. The way they interact with others and all-around conduct themselves are not much alike when you get down to it.

I know I'm going to sound like an eejit right now, but, um, what is monogamous?
Besides not knowing what that means, I think I'm closest to a Cougar. Maybe a Barn Owl. But not Fennec. It's definately out.

As your daemon is a product of your imagination it is unable to do your homework for you or see round corners. Anything it knows (knowledge or sensory) is limited to what you know. If it happens to be right, the information your daemon used came from you, so give yourself a pat on the back! I also find this astral projecting a bit confusing. Does this have something to do with the stars? And how would you be able to see something somewhere where you aren't?

Booklover: Monogamy in animals is basically when they form lasting pair bonds. Some monogamous animals mate for life, but there are varying degrees of it (some animals are serially monogamous, meaning they stick together to raise young for a year or so and then might move on; some birds are socially but not genetically monogamous because they 'cheat' on each other, etc). Polygamy is the opposite: it's when animals mate multiple times in a season and don't really raise their young together. Again, there can be varying degrees. It's generally held that how mono or poly an animal is (and why) effects the attitude and mindset of the person, although it's not widely agreed upon how. xD You could loosely equate loyalty to monogamy though. A solitary, polygamous animal like a cougar has no loyalty urges to speak of. I started looking into pair-bonding animals when I realised that I rely on and spend too much time around my best friend for solitary poly animals to fit, but I still need something that isn't particularly 'loyal' or protective and generally doesn't put itself in harms way for its partner.

Annnyway yeah. I started writing this, got distracted, and now at least half an hour has passed and I can't remember what else I was going to say. xD

Even though I don't know my Daemon's species yet, I think I've got a name. Ceasar. I like it, and I've only ever met 2 people with that name, so to me, it's not a common name.
