This isn't about a bad trade so much as a bad trading situation. *facepalms*

So I've gotten into the habit of, once a week, sending out random trades to a bunch of different people who happen to be online at the same time. They aren't bad trades- I just stick to people who have a Trading group, and who don't say in their Trade rules not to send open-ended trades (or else don't have trade rules) and then send trade requests asking what they'd like in return for this dog or that that I found in their trading group.

Well, while I've been on today, I've gotten three different responses from three different people- ALL ASKING FOR THE SAME DOG IN RETURN. And it's not even one of my (not-so-)rare dogs! It's the freaking Yellow Sortic! .____. Weren't the two rarest of the Sortics the White and the Purple? I want all the pets that I was hoping to trade for from these people, but I only have one Yellow Sortic!

Maybe this'll stop me from making so many random trades at once in the future. *headdesks* In any case, I'm starting to agree with my friend- people who aren't so familiar with CS pet rarities, dearly love the Sortics just on appearance alone (and apparently the yellow one most of all).

That said, I don't suppose anyone has any extra Yellow Sortics they'd mind trading to a good cause? ^^;

No. i said that dog was for wishlist pets ONLY. And he/she kept offering me those pets.

I got a trade for my blue toxic, offering a yellow sorbet.
The message was something like 'A July for an August? Edit if you like, I have rare pets'
I know that's a good trade, but I'm pretty attached to the toxic, so I edited an evil PPS to their side, and if they thought it was too much they could edit it off. I'm pretty sure I said this in the message as well.
I got the trade back with some Christmas pets, an October or two, and the evil PPS. The message that was something like:
'That is not a fair trade. How did you even get to that pet? it's in a disabled group'
I have nothing against this person. But they could have at least remembered they sent me that trade... if I had accepted it they probably would have regretted it I guess X3
