Shenzi glanced from the Pridelanders to the Outlanders. So the Pridelanders might decide the Outlanders are a bigger threat than me. Good, then I can use them as a distraction. Now I just need an opening. She watched the Pridelanders at the water hole, waiting for the perfect time for her to slip by.

Noku, still startled by his reflection, stalked away from the water. He saw Shenzi, cocked his head and then walked up to her. he crouched low beside her "Watcha doing?". He followed her gaze, and saw the lions. Then that voice told him to attack the pricess, he cowered and covered his ears "no!" he roared, tail flicking. [bad post xD]

Shenzi flicked an ear. And out of all lions, the one that approaches me is the creepy-lookin' one. Just my luck. "Nothin'," she snarled. "Are you an Outlander? You just don't look like a Pridelander to me," she added, sizing him up. So, if he attacks me, I can yell that an Outlander just pounced on me for no good reason. Another good distraction. She eyed him. "Why'd you say 'no' like you're bein' tortured?" she asked, tilting her head.

Noku whimpered[I don't know the lion equivalent xD]"Im not really in or out of the pride. They let me hang around, but don't want me too close." He smiled, ears pressed against his head still. The lion then covered his ears with his paws, squinting his eyes shut, the noise was too loud, it was giving him a headache. His actions were strange, seeing as no other animal could hear the noise.

Shenzi nodded. I can certainly see why they don't want him too close! "I expect you know how me and my fellow hyenas feel, don't ya?" She glared at the Pridelanders, then gave the lion next to her a strange look. He must be crazy. What on Earth is he doin'? Anyway, let's see, Pridelanders spot us, which one of us are they goin' to focus on? Most likely me, but there is a slight possibility that that lion right there could be focused on. And I'm certainly hopin' for the latter!

He lifted one of his paws "Y-yes Miss...What was your name again?". He growled as another wave of noise hit him "Whats with the look..don't you hear the n-noise?". He went lower, if that was even possible, shaking now. He didn't have the same prejudice against hyenas other pridelanders did, mostly because he tolerated them. he too knew what it felt like to be hated and outcasted.
