Palebranch pawed slowly through the jumble of herbs spread across the damp, unwelcoming floor of the tiny cove that was his den. His eyes were dull (though that was nothing new, as their muddy-green hue scarcely ever looked lively); his tail flicking impatiently, as though he had so many more important things to do. "Juniper, lavendar, thyme, coltsfoot," he muttered, his voice -- like the rest of him -- monotone and lifeless as he sorted each piece of crinkled foliage into the wrongful pile.

[Dia.]

Shadowpaw's paws itched impatiently while he stood in the center of the camp. He knew that Brownstar was in his den. However much he wanted to go fetch his mentor and start training, he didnt want to disturb the leader. Many times, he started to walk towards the leader's den. Then he would stop and walk back.

Jackheart flicked her tail against Dartfoot's shoulder and padded foward, stopping after a few steps to look back at him. The air seemed to be getting colder, and it would be a welcome relief to be back in the camp. It was warm there. Or at least, it was warmer than the rest of the forest. She dropped her shrew for a minute and sneezed, whiskers twitching as she picked the prey up again.

[Dia.]

Dartfoot let out a huge sigh of relief when he saw the camp's entrance, "Thank Eternalclan." He breathed out and pressed into Jackheart's pelt a little more. He twitched his ears, "Being back at camp alive will feel good." He tried to purr after saying that, but it sounded forced.

Jackheart tried to purr as well, but it faltered in her throat. She pressed through the tunnel entrance, paws crunching in the stiff snow. She dropped her shrew on the preypile, observing critically how low it was. Turning back to Dartfoot, Jackheart gave him what she hoped came off as a positive smile. She moved in closer to him and dropped her voice to a whisper. "Should we tell Brownstar that we saw Ravenstorm?"

[Dia.]

Dartfoot dropped his prey as well and looked at Jackheart. He was silent as he thought. "It would probably be best if we did..." He flicked his tail and looked up at Brownstar's den. He then looked to Shadowpaw, who looked like he was itching to train. Shrugging, he figured he could help the apprentice out a little.
"Hey, Shadowpaw." He called to him.
Shadowpaw jumped and trotted over to the two warriors, "Yeah?"
"Can you go tell Brownstar that we need to talk to him?"

Shadowpaw looked releaved to have something to do and to get an excuse to talk to his mentor, "Yeah sure." He bounded up to Brownstar's den.
"Brownstar?" He mewed tentatively.

Dartfoot smiled and sat down, licking his paws to get the frozen snow off of them.

Jackheart smiled as she watched the apprentice go. "It mut be tough sometimes, having your leader be your mentor." She mused aloud, sitting down besides Dartfoot. the she-cat drew her tail around her front paws and sneezed quietly, whiskers twitching in the aftermath. Jackheart sniffed crossly. "I hope I'm not getting a cold."

[Dia.]

Dartfoot nodded in agreement before looking at Jackheart. Worry flitted across his expression and he wrapped his tail around his paws. "Maybe you should see the medicine cat." He said this softly, "We cant have you catching green cough."

Jackheart shot Dartfoot a look of mock suprise. "Who me? I'm too invincible to catch greencough." She smiled and flicked him with her tail. "I'll be fine. Tell you what though," the she-cat added, just so he wouldn't worry, "If it doesn't clear up by tomorrow, I'll pay Palebranch a visit." Jackheart wrinkled her nose at the thought. She hated being sick; having to take all of those foul-tasting herbs and being forced to rest, when she could be out fighting or hunting or helping the Clan somehow.

Wolfclaw said,"Im doing good. Yah Lionpaw is something different isn't he?" he looked over at the apprentice with a smile. Then he asked,"How. How have you been? I mean like Uh." he looked down embaresedly. He was messing it up like he did in his head. Lionpaw watched, laughing a little between bites of his mouse.
