A pitiful howl comes from a basket left out in the unforgiving weather on your porch. Out of pity ( and genuine curiousity ), you put on a coat and take a look to see what is in it. To your delight, a blind kitten lay in the basket! As you pick up your brand new pet; a letter falls, and it reads:

Dear Firestar,
I hope you enjoy your pup as much as I have over these past months. Unless Binji took them in a fit of jealosy; there should be a few of his favorite toys. This sacrifice did not come easy; and I expect you to keep your gift forever.
