Daisyshine nodded in understanding. "This must be bringing up some painful memories," she meowed, thinking about her parents. Shaking her head, she cleared it. "They should be coming back soon," she meowed standing.

"Yes they should, you'll get out the lavander won't you?" he asked.

"I'll get it," Daisyshine replied, nodding before heading into the herb store and sniffing it out. Taking her time, she brought it back out, sighing softly. "Do you want to go meet them at the entrance?" she asked.

"Yes, and we should both pay our respects to her as well." he mewed.

Diamondstar padded into camp slowly. she drug her paws all the way to the center and gently layed down Cloudsongs body. she watched as the kits followed slowly. "Tonight we will all pay our respects to Cloudsong who died for what she thought was right." she mewed loudly and forcibly.

Hawkkit was crying by the time they got home. he stayed close to Rushingkit the whole time.

Ealgleap watched as Cloudsongs body was brought back and he nodded solemly sending up a prayer to Eonclan.

Daisyshine nodded and sighed. "Sounds like they're back," she meowed, getting up and heading towards them.

Flashkit kept his head down, glancing up as Diamondstar spoke. Nodding, he sat down, wondering what he could do with himself.

Skyleaf buried her face into Eagleleap's fur.

Rushingkit was crying into Hawkkit's fur again. She couldn't stay strong, for her mother. "I'm sorry Cloudsong," she murmured. "I'm sorry I...I can't be strong." she whimpered.

Owlscreech bowed his head in silent grief. "May your passing be peaceful, Cloudsong" he murmured.

"noone can be strong all the time Rushingkit. " Hawkkit mewed softly. "jut let it out. you can be strong tomorrow.

Diamondstar waived her tail for the kits to gather around.

Eagleleap rested his tail on Skyleaf. as she cried
