Yeah I had something like that happen about a week ago. Someone had a pet they were offering in a locked group. They told me to just send the trade from my end with what they wanted and they'd add the pet from the locked group and send it back. I wrote back to them to just send the trade from their end with the locked pet asking for the one I had to offer. Never heard back from them. I hate feeling like someone is trying to scam me.

Ooh this was fun. It's cute when people think they're being clever.

Someone posted saying they'd offer "rares" for November pups. I PMed them saying I could offer all 3 of the ones they wanted since they had some of my wishlist pets (though none of them rares). They responded saying something along the lines of "I have 5 of your 09 wishlist dogs, send me a trade with your offers and I'll add my pets." Funny, I think, they don't even have 5 of my '09 wishlists. I don't want to insinuate that they'd cheat me out of those 3 pets, though, so I link them to a trade group with my 3 in it instead.
They send a trade back offering a common german shepherd for all 3. Odd, that doesn't seem even close to what they said they'd offer. I edit adding the only 5 pets they have that *are* on my wishlist, saying "Oh, I assume these are what you meant."
Their cancelling message: "Yeah, like I'm going to give some of the most wanted dogs away, when someone else wants 2 common pets of mine, for the same ones..."

VERY glad I didn't decide to give them the benefit of the doubt and just send my offer.
That one just left a bad taste in my mouth. Though watching someone try to be sneaky and fail miserably does provide some amusement, at least.

Woah! Yeah, that's scary. "Yes, I'll just hand all my pets over to you."

I wonder how many have fallen for this, not knowing what would happen I hope this person is caught and punished for trying to steal others' pets through outright decit and lies.

Eee.
Someone was asking for an April dog of mine, they offered six or so common pets. I looked through their trades, saw nothing of interest so I told them I wasn't interested in a trade.
"please?"
"Sorry, I'm not interested in any of those pets."

Several minutes later they send me another offer.
"yes?please"
"Sorry, I'm not interested in that dog."

Now, a third trade offer. No pets on their side, just my dog.
"why this dof in trade-dog?"
"Because I'm looking to trade it for pets I'm interested in."

Ee. Looking at it now, I probably should have pointed out in that last message that I'll most likely be saving it for a trade involving multiple pets on my side, it feels like that wasn't clear enough. =/
Oh well, chances are she'll send me another trade in a sec anyway.

Some people. I just got four trades for an uncommon pet, using chatspeak ((Against my rules)) and majorly begging. Also against my rules. So the first time I canceled, I told them politely that they have nothing I'm interested in. Second time, the same, just a tad less polite. XD Third time. "No." Fourth. Just clicked cancel. ._.

November Star Royal, Light Purple 2nd Gen, Straight Tailed Scribble, Orange Kala, Grey Glowing Yin Yang, Pink Splatter horse, Malk Skeleton Fish, and an Egyptian foal.

My side:Dark Brown owl, Common bunny, and Vampiric birthday dog.

Now the trade isn't all that bad, except for the fact that they broke my rules. It's the message that made me bang my head in to the wall.

3. And did I mention they broke my rules?

I've only gotten one person who has actually read my rules. ._. In my rules, number one makes it clear. Do not send me trades that: "I luff this pup! All mah pets are fah trade!" or "Please give me this doggeh!" *sighs* Stupid people. XD But it wasn't that bad if you think about it, it's still annoying when people break your rules.
