Ingo did as told, not only because she was slightly afraid of losing her life to this captain, but because she had to see for herself. She took the spyglass and looked in said direction, only to presented with a very clear navy ship. She looked for a moment then handed it back, "Well I'll be," she said.

Dunny squinted through the crack in the wall of ship, watching the progress of the fight closely. It seemed that they had stopped fighting, he wondered why. He hated being trapped without being able to fight. He wasn't sure who he wanted to fight, he wasn't even sure he cared.

Once Rodney had retured to betty with everything she had asked for, he scampered down below deck again, he had sowrn he had heard some noise. It could be the cannons, but it certainly didn't sound like it. He noticed almost instantly one of the chambers was locked. he knocked on the door, unlocked it with a key, then went in, seeing a boy, just older than him, in there. "Um... hello?" he called, poking Dunny who was looking out the crack in the wall.

Jack looked over to Ingo as the fighting stoped and she looked through the spyglass. "What is it?" he called to her. (crap DX wb)

Dunny swore loudly pulling the longest of the two daggers in his belt and turning in one swift motion. He sensed that there wasn't enough room to fight with swords if that's what it came too. He was cursing himself inside, how stupid could he be?, he was so preoccupied with the occurrences aboard the ship that until recently had been his place of residence he hadn't heard the sound of knocking, or the key in the lock or the boys footsteps. His foot long dagger raised in a somewhat threatening manner, he replied, unsure what to make of the boy. "hello." His tone was deep for his age, and had a richness that was slightly uncommon. It was slightly accented with the tones of a farmer.

"Sorry lad, couln't help noticing you were in 'ere, want anything?" asked Rodney, he himself was unsure what to make of this prisoner. Rodney's own voice was an easily recognisable pirate tone, and when he was old enough would sure become a fine one at that.

"There's a navy ship Jack," she explained. "And it's coming along smartly, we've got to get out of here," she said, slightly worried now that she had not noticed it.

Dunny hesitated slightly before returning his dagger to his belt. "'Names Dunny, well at-least that's what I'm called." He wondered whether he would get to know this pirate or if he would die at his hands. "short of freedom? A drink of water would be nice." He hesitated for a second before adding, "why aren't you fighting?" he asked referring to the ship across the way. He tried to look relaxed but he was watching the boy and watching the door.

"I'm ten Dunny, I'm not allowed to fight," he explained. "But if you want some water I'll try get you some," said Rodney, not really realising he porbably shouldn't be helping the prisoner. He scampered off quickly and returned with a drink, it didn't look much like water, but on this vessel, it was the best you could get. He came back to Dunny, then said, "I'm Rodney Finch, not quite at your service, but willing to help," he said, with a small nod and tip of his hat.

Dunny shrugged and spoke sympathetically "sucks for you." Dunny took the water and drank deeply, the water tasted odd but on a ship thats just how it was. "thank you." He smiled slightly at the boys comments. "so how old do you have to be to fight?" he queried.

Emerald scowled. "S**t." she mumbled. She sighed and looked off in the direction the spy glass was pointed. On the horizon, there was a the shape of a ship, nothing recognizable without the glass but still a ship.
