Soooo do you have somthing Rare?

Ok, so this is a chat where you can chat about stuff you have thats really rare... I'm not talking about CS pets, i'm talking actual items, medical diseases,ect..

I would like to hear about the stuff you have ^_^

Like me, for instance, I have something called Duane Syndrome, Its is a very rare medical disease where my left eye cannot look left. The odds are about over 1 and 2.0 mil, i belive. Only 60 people in america(or the world, when i reasearched it, it wasint specific) have this disease, there really isint much on it, but, i am going to try to reasearch it

I am also highly likely to have twins when i decide to have a child, my great grandmother was a twin, so was my dad. So i am highly likely to have twins If there is a girl i am going to name it Tess (yes, CS Tess she will be named after XD) And Sora, even if Its a boy or girl

Other than my extremely odd medical problems- which I don't always like to talk about; it's very easy to get the wrong impression- I am a music/voice synaesthete. :3

Well, I was. When I was a child, it was very vivid; I think I also saw colors with written words, but I don't remember very well. Now that I'm older, I do still see colors with music and voices, but it's very... fuzzy? I can't put a name to it. They're there, but I just can't... focus, I think. But when I'm sleepy or having a panic attack, they become very vivid.

Certain people or songs are also very vivid, even if I'm not tired or panicking... Like "Eternity- Memory of Lightwaves" from the Final Fantasy X-2 soundtrack. It's in shades of violet, light pink, and pale yellow. :3 Certain words also have that effect; to me, Monday is a deep blue. Sunday is orange-ish... You get the idea, right? ^^

My name is also quite vivid when said; it's a similar pale-white-violet color as that song I mentioned, but changes around "Ko" to a deeper blue. I like it. :3

Erhm. I'm not quite sure if this would be considered something, but...

My mom learned to talk when she was four years old or something. For a while people thought she was mentally retarded. She was sent to a medical hospital. But they found nothing wrong with her, and soon after, she developed normally.

The same thing happened with each of my three siblings. We learned to talk at around three and a half, yet later in our lives, all of us excel at language arts. My youngest brother was the worst, it was least visible in my older brother. People called us retarded. And even wwhen we finally started talking, it wasn't much. Me especially. When I started pre-school, I only knew a couple words - "Uppie" and "Galoonka milk" (chocolate milk.) My older brother couldn't say his name when he started pre-school.

And then something especially odd happened to me. Before I learned to talk, I actually barked. I didn't say bark, I barked whenever I saw a dog on the street. But my mom was happy, since at least I was making some sound.

My mom read and researched, but she never found anything about what was up with all of us, why we learned so slowly at first yet so fast later on. To this day I don't know what's wrong with me.

That sounds kinda cool, but scary at the same time. Being an artist it sounds cool, I can only imagine what kind of art you could make with that kind of ability

@Migumi: It's not scary, really. :3 For the first ten years of my life, I didn't know that other people couldn't see colors, too. After being brought to a psychiatrist, I finally realized why people would look at me weird when I asked them to "Turn down the radio, the color is too bright". ^^;

When I'm coloring something, I like to have a song with similar shades. :3 It keeps me focused, and inspires me to work with new colors I may not have thought of, otherwise.

@Cheetahfly: Oh, I remember those! :D I used to have a few when I was little; I always wanted the full set, but could never afford it.

It's not really that rare but it's really odd >.>

Well, when I was younger my dad accidentally ran over me in an innertube on a slide(Inclosed, the lifegaurd wasn't paying attention to see if I was out or not, she was more worried about a 'storm' coming in). They said I was totally fine when they checked me over but...

A few years later someone hit me in the head with a ball by accident and I lost vision in my left eye for awhile.
Now, as I've gotten older I have to be really careful cause my vision in my left eye will just kinna go in and out.
I have a bad feeling that I'll loose total vision in that eye later on in life.
But people are atleast a little more careful than normal around me, we've realized if you hit my head just right my vision in the left eye will dissapear for a few hours.
It doesn't come back normally either, it's like, a fuzzy haze that slowly clears up.
But Hoshiko, I kinna wish I had that.... Synaethete sounds kinna interesting in my opinion

I don't know if its rare, I've heard a lot of people having this. I have a photographic memory, also, I don't know if some people have this, but I can sort of record sounds in my head and hear them over and over, its creepy

@Valentines: Huh, that sounds like something I have... I don't think about it much, but the "wires" (I don't know the actual term. ^^;) that connect my eyes to my brain are coiled a little too tight, causing me to be mostly blind- but my left eye "flickers" in and out, too. Though I can't say that I've ever been hit like that... ^^; It probably happened at birth.

I don't think of syn' to be really interesting- but, it's just normal life to me. :3 It's interesting to me how other people don't see it. XD I would imagine it to be less colorful, that's for sure!
