Gerard sighed. The freezing little cabin he was staying in swayed as the boat moved. "Why are they all so excited about being on this boat? It's a deathtrap, why don't they see it?" he asked himself in his scottish-irish accent. He had never wanted to come aboard this stupid boat in the first place. But, it was either that or... Gerard trailed off his thoughts as he thought he heard footsteps in the hall, but it was a very quiet noise.

She sighed. 'I should be at eating my dinner. Not out here.' she thought. But it seemed like she couldn't leave. Something was bothering her. Then she rembered an old saying her mother told her, that nothing was impossible. Perhaps she thought of this because no-one wanted to marry her, she didn't know.
