{Just to let you know, yes, this is loosely based on the new movie Captain America, however it is not a roleplay about WWII.}

"A new breed of super soldier."

That was what they told you. You've been striving for respect for your entire life. Either you were scrawny, completely normal, or something that the rest of the world just didn't seem to like, you hated who you were. Maybe even more so than you do now.
There is a war brewing. Europe is rising, now. Only it's not just the Germans this time, and it's not the Nazi's. It is an organization that goes by the name of Saber. It's the general thing: the entire continent realized that they all wanted power, money, and fame. So what reason was there to not band together? Unfortunately, they didn't really have a reason. To add to this unfortunate event, Europe currently has one of the most highly thriving Economy's in the world. So with all the money that they have together, it doesn't exactly put them at a disadvantage for weapons or any sort of bribing.
It's the world and it's armies and Europe and whatever they can muster, which is a lot.

That's where you came in.

Striving for any form of adoration, you were. You've now achieved that. The entire world has made you their crutch. You lead the armies, you devise plans for war.

"You don't like who you are, do you?" ". . .No, sir." "Well I can offer you an escape from that. You will be adored by billions." ". . . Who are you?" "I? Oh, let me explain this simply. I'm the key to your new life."

You were found in the all the different governments records. They chose you for their experiment. At first you were all for it, and maybe you still are, deep down. You're saving lives, you aren't hated anymore. But then again. . . you're not exactly you.
You were taken to a chamber, an all white chamber that resembled all too closely the laboratories you see in movies. That was where you began to get a little frightened. They injected the proper chemicals into you to keep you safe during the cell-fusing process. Then you were put in this awful steel coffin and gassed out.
Some were injected with things intended to triple your physical and mental abilities. Some had their DNA fused with that of an animal that fit your personality and was equally intelligent. Others were given superhuman abilities, such as x-ray vision or telepathy. However, you were one in 5,990,000,000. Nine other people were mutated in these ways, and you intend to use your new abilities both to your advantage and the advantage of the world.
When you woke up shortly, you were in extreme pain. The very cells in your body had been rocked and mutated to the core. You were no longer that nobody that people didn't like. You were one of the ten, one of the ten people fighting for the worlds freedom, leading the army, saving lives. And yet you aren't entirely happy with yourself, either. There's always that little nagging voice in your mind that misses being that nobody and not always being targeted and putting your life on the line, that little voice that wonders what you could've done in the army or who you could've been if you hadn't been mutated.

But that voice doesn't matter. You're going to save lives.

Rules

No, I don't like them either. But please read them for your own good.

• Follow all Tess rules and general role play rules. {No GS/MS, Power playing, etc.}

• If you break the above rule, I will kick you off the R.P. and if it's bad enough, {Which it hopefully won't be o_o;} I will report you.

• Please, please, please, please, please, please be original with how you were mutated. Please.

• Please keep genders even. There are ten total slots: five male, five female. First come first serve, and I'll keep you updated on the amount of slots left and what the genders are.

• In accordance with that: If you want to have multiple characters, you are NOT allowed to have three or four females. If you want to make multiple characters, you are allowed to have ONE OF EACH GENDER.

• Somewhat in accordance with that, we do need humans. {Super special bonus! >8D If you make a human, that doesn't fill any slots so no one can yell at you, however please don't use this as your cue to go make a thousand girls.

• Yes, you can curse. No, I don't you making posts like this: " 'Dammit!' he yelled at the sergeant. 'Don't gimme that [censored] you ass!' " If you must, please star out your words.

• No sex scenes. Period.

• Yes, war is bloody and gory. Allow your character to get hurt. It adds suspense to the role-play, it's boring if everyone dodges every grenade. However, this doesn't mean describe the gore you might see on the battlefield.

• Gays/Bi's are allowed, but I'd prefer heroes not to be.

• Romance and drama are encouraged.

Looks-
Echo is a slender, small-framed/bodied, pale girl with an intelligent, mysterious, interesting, and attractive demeanor. {Despite that last part, she's not much of a flirty girl.} If all you could see was her silhouette, you'd see a slender, curvy, 5'9" girl. Echo's face is smooth with skin that isn't quite tight, but not flabby or loose either. A few freckles can be found, but not that many. Echo has a small, heart-shaped face, beautifully framed by thick, wavy, onyx-black hair that shines a little in the sunlight, but is brilliantly complimented by moonlight. She has scattered violet streaks around her head. Her eyes are a deep, purple-ish blue opal color that it can be hard to see past if she wants to hide her feelings, rimmed with thick, jet-black eyelashes. Her eyebrows are rather thin, and, like her eyes, are set at medium length away from each other. Her eyes are naturally slanted a fourth of a millimeter upwards, giving her a bit of an interested, curious, playful look. If she's a bit down, though, this can also give her a bit of a disappointed look that can be a bit hard to hide. Her cheekbones are set high, at about the height of her ears, which are small and delicate to match the rest of her features. Her hair can normally be found sitting behind them, but a few strands always manage to escape. Her nose is small-ish and curved up a little in a childish fashion. Echo's top lip is thin, but her bottom lip is a bit larger with the natural roundness at the center that can give her a pretty cute smile. Her lips are apricot colored. Her neck is long and elegant, naturally sloping into shoulders that curve a bit backwards, giving her generally a pretty good posture. Echo's arms are thin but strong, and her forearms are just a bit longer than the first part of her arms. Her wrists are thin, but curve and round nicely into slender, delicate, nimble hands with thin fingers that can always find something to do: doodling, writing, tapping, playing with her hair, anything. Her nails aren't that long, but they reach hardly over the tips of her fingers. The rest of her torso is slender and small, but strong nonetheless and slopes gently into wide hips. Her legs are long, and, like her torso, slender, small and strong. Her calves are especially small, too, giving her a powerful, athletic look although all of this is natural, as she doesn't take part in many sports and enjoys the free time she gets to herself to write and draw.

Personality-
Echo is a very hard person to read, which makes her personality a bit hard to describe. She's very keep-to-yourself and she loves to be alone and think, this having much to do with her history. She finds it very hard to trust unless the opposite person makes the move to trust her and get to know her first. She's very intelligent, but she loves to laugh and has a gorgeous smile that can light up a room in seconds. Echo tends to walk away from a conversation if she has to stand and listen for too long, because she's not that outgoing when it comes to speaking up, but she will if she needs to. She is a kind of secretive, fighty character. Echo sadly has to lie to people, especially if it's about her past. She is a very hard person to read, like I said, but she's also someone who will really open up she she needs to. Echo really wants a boyfriend, by the way x3 Despite this, she only wants the right guy, as it'll take a bit of care to impress her.


History-
Echo's never been into sob stories, but sadly, she's kind of living one. All her life, she's lived to forget. That one fateful year, four years ago when she was thirteen, her parents were murdered in the hospital after a fire during a blood transfusion, using an unknown poison that was placed in the blood after it had been checked. Even before that her life hadn't been that great: her parents had been fighting to stay above the water, with a shallow and unstable pool of money under them, so they'd always been a pretty nervous family. This has made Echo the kind of person who lies automatically; she had always lied about her life to save her reputation, and she'd always lied about her name because she could no longer trust anyone after the murder of her parents. It has been her lifelong goal since then to solve her parents murder, and this is the reason why having the abilities she does is so big to her. She wants to find the killer and definitely do something terrible, something so that he could feel the same pain that she and her parents had felt. She's never revealed to anyone who she's previously been and done, and only once she's positive that she can honestly trust that person will Echo ever reveal that to anyone. She's very secretive about her entire past and loves to make up new histories for herself, to see if the person will actually believe her. This is how she determines whether or not they're trustable; if they'll believe it, then they'll believe anything and probably won't be trusted. If they don't, then Echo can feel that she's able to trust them a bit more. Echo can't help but wonder if the pain will ever cease.

Description: Rae is around 6'4-6'5. He weighs 220 lbs. Very muscularly built. Being emo, he has black hair, a lip ring and several bars in his ears. He is usually seen wearing baggy jeans, a bullet belt, steel toed boots, black band shirt, with a leather jacket over it. Always he carries a small handgun in the inside of his leather jacket and a knife in his jean pocket. He also wears black fingerless hand gloves. Also wears a locket hidden by his shirt. The locket contains a picture of his mother. Since he usually doesnt show his skin, hes pretty pale. But hansom dont forget that. When he does show some skin, weather it be his arms or his chest, he will not tolerate anyone asking about his scars. Which are all over his back, arms, and chest.

Personality-
Rae is the kind of person who doesn't care what your sexuality is. He only cares how you act around others. Being bullied and abused most of his life, he doesn't talk much. The only way to get him to talk, is if you can start a conversation about something he likes. He is very shy, and usually doesn't make eye contact. He normally blushes alot, and over every little thing. Rae can be quite aggressive and protective. He is not afraid to get into a fight, and usually likes to. If you get on his soft side, he can turn out to be a passionate, caring, young man.

History-
When he was about 7 it all started. Both of his parents used to get drunk. Every single night. On a regular basis they got into fights, and when the got done, his father took it out on Rae. Beating him for several hours a day. Until one day his father got extremely mad. Picking up a butcher knife, he came at Rae, slashing at him. But at this time his mother was sober. Stepping between Rae and his father, his father accidentally stabbed her. When he realized what he had done, he ran out of the house. Only to be caught. Raes father blamed him for his wife's death. His father got the death penalty. So Rae, now 10 was forced to move to his Aunts. Being depressed about his mother, he turned emo. Not talking to anyone, but his cat. When he went to a new school, every one stared at him. He was a freak. When it came time to go into high school, he had no friends. Most seniors and a few juniors used to beat him up and call him the worse names they could think of. Suffering through it all, his aunt finally died of unknown causes. Everyone thought Rae did it, so they put him in a asylum. Where they did tests and experiments on him. When he was 17 they injected some kind of Liquid they had been working on. His body reacted to it by making his skin rock hard, and really strong. Satisfied and hungry for more, the scientists began working on a formula, they hoped it would make him be able to shapeshift into some kind of form of mutated animal. They mixed different animal blood, changing the genes for certain qualities they wanted. When the got finished they made him drink half, then injected the other half into him. After leaving him in a pitch black room for a week they let him out with several deer. Controled by anger and hunger, Rae changed. Killing them each with his kiss of death. The scientist underestimated his power, and he broke out. Killing every one of them. Phasing back he ran away. Then he met them. They offered him Billions, and he accepted.
