Rainstep and Emberleap had horrified looks on their faces they hook their head 'no' quickly their eyes pleadingly

Ravenpaw caught the hint,but her brother just looked confused.Ravenpaw nodded"Yes it is a good idea!"she said flicking her tail.

"They're fit to be kits! You have to agree!" Winterstar purred at the apprentices, patting the warriors' heads with her tail. She was trying to hold in her laughter but..."I'm glad! It's settled then!"

Nettleleaf laughed. "Camp exit is that way?" She pointed with her tail and crawled out of camp, smelling the fresh forest air.

Patchpaw felt embarrassed and followed his mentor happily his tail high in the air

Rainstep and Emberleap nearly burst into tears their eyes watered as their ears, tails and whiskers droops to almost touch the floor they moped over to the nursery

Flamemask snickered and nodded approvment to the apprenticed

"There's only one problem, they have no mother, and I have a Clan to worry about. Hmm...Flamemask? How are you parenting skills?" Winterstar laughed, though she did sound half serious.

"Well, we're here!" Nettleleaf announced happily, skipping into the arena that they used for battle. "Ok, show me your jump again, and I'll help you with that, then teach you some more moves. Sound good?" She asked, smiling, tail high in the air.

Ravenpaw chuckled and sunk her teeth into the peice of prey her brother handed her.

Flamemask was stunned by her response "me a mother!? no way in Starclan. Try asking a real she-cat" he chuckled flicking his tail to Ravenpaw

Patchpaw smiled and nodded he wriggled his haunches in the air and launched himself up into the air as many Hawkclan cats can do. and twisted awkwardly and landed with a thud. he grunted and hauled himself up
