Hawkclan vs Winterclan

Rainstep and Emberleap darted over to Winterstar "i brought you a mouse!" they meowed happily in unison "no mines better!" they hissed at each other "pick mine Winterstar it's way better than his!" Rainstep meowed grinning like a kit emberleap jumped in front of him no way! mine was fresher!" he pointed out "no way! we caught them at the same time!" Rainstep meowed irritably "you know what!" Emberleap hissed throwing himself at Rainstep as they tumbled around in the thin layer of snow

Flamemask groaned "toms!" he meowed "honestly your acting like kits fighting over a piece of moss!" he hissed the two stopped and lowered their head "sorry Flamemask" they muttered together as they scampered off he chuckled "they are so funny how they say every thing in unison" he purred

Patchpaw darted over to Nettleleaf "Hawkstar said your my mentor!" he squeaked happily bouncing up and down Hawkstar stuck her head out of her den "i hope you don't mind" she purred

[Winterpool]

"Of course not! Apprentices are so much fun!" Nettleleaf gave Hawkstar her most convincing smile. Her fur was covered in moss and was standing up about seven different directions, but she just shook it off. "Ok, Patchpaw. Should we start right after breakfast?"

Winterstar laughed as she watched the warriors run off. "Well, we got breakfast out of it." She pushed one of the mice toward Flamemask, taking a bite out of her own. It was delicious, like hot chocolate in the winter, but it was a warm mouse instead. "I still think of them as apprentices." She smiled, nodding after Emberleap and Rainstep.

Foxpaw ran over to Hawkstar, grinning wide. "Who's mine and Bearpaw's mentor?" She asked impatiently. Bearpaw had just walked out of the apprentice's den and with a yawn, padded over to Hawkstar and Foxpaw. He had already heard Foxpaw's question. Can she get any louder. He thought with a flick of his tail.

Patchpaw nodded "sounds awesome!" he purred laughing under his breath at her fur his tail flicked happily as he ran over to go fetch a mouse or something

Flamemask purred "well that's because they still act like it" he pointed out nodded to the two tom that were trying to catch snow-flakes on their tongue. he sniffed the mouse before taking a bite. It didn't smell like frost or snow but like.....the forest. "where did they say they caught these mice?" he asked feeling uneasy

Hawkstar purred roughly "Foxpaw your all mine, Bearpaw you get Marchfur" she meowed pointing to the shy warrior she-cat who just stepped out of the warrior den Patchpaw looked over at Bearpaw and Foxpaw chuckling at Foxpaw's loudness "congrats!" he purred happily waggling his tail Hawkstar purred at their enthusiasm

Winterstar stopped short, Flamemask was right. How could this mouse be so warm (and toasty and delicious) if it was caught in the dead of snow season? She twitched her whiskers. "Emberleap? Rainstep? Come here for a second, please! We want to compliment you on the mice!" She called, smiling uneasily.

Nettleleaf smiled as she trotted to the fresh-kill pile, picking out a thrush and laying down to eat it, nearly falling asleep again. She was trying to plan a 'lesson' for Patchpaw.

Foxpaw grinned at Patchpaw's comment. "Thanks! Congrats to you too!" She mewed back while Bearpaw nodded politely, showing that he acknowledge the comment before going over to his mentor.
