Xavier smiled when Tristan appeared then cocked a brow when he noticed how bouncy he was, "Where've you been?" The words slipped from his mouth without Xavier noticing but he quickly shook his head with a laugh, "Forget I asked that. I got into plenty of mischief myself when I was here when Bell was a filly." The Knight reached forward shook one of the boy's shoulders, smiling brightly, "Now then, I need a favor-" He cut his words off as Annabella walked in. He watched closely at how she acted with Adam at his stable, a small smile on his face. When he princess walked by he bowed subtly and smiled in a return, "Have a nice ride, Princess. Treat her well, Adam, you stud, you." He winked at Annabella before turning back to Tristan.

"I need you to grab-" Again he cut himself off as another voice greeted him. He turned and smiled, "Ah, Grand Prince Castiel!" Xavier bowed lightly, "Hope your hunt went well!" The Knight laughed lightly as Castiel passed then again, looked toward Tristan, "Such a rush of royalty, it's almost making my head spin. Ahem, now then, would you do me a favor and go fetch Bell's saddle and bridle? I'll meet you by her stall, call if you can't lift it. I understand, it's quite the heavy stuff." He winked at Tristan and moved past him toward Bell's stable. When he reached it, he rested his arms on the door and looked in, watching his mare munch on the grain and whinny lightly at him.

Good, thought Tristan. Now I won't have to use up another of my excuses. He grinned, thinking that this knight all right fellow. Certainly interesting, and Tristan had a feeling that the knight's mischief had been more than sleeping in the hayloft when he should have been working. And he had become a knight! If this man could become a knight, it shouldn't be terribly hard for Tristan to be a horse trainer, should it?

Tristan raised his eyebrows for an instant, surprised at how forward the knight was being with the princess. Bowing again as the prince came in, Tristan waited for the knight to finish he request, which turned out just to be for Bell's saddle and bridle.

"Yes, sire," Tristan replied again, walking off to get the things, angry at the insinuation that he was weak. Of course he could carry a saddle, even if he wasn't as muscular as a knight! Retrieving tack was one of the most common requests stable-boys received. He huffed as he picked up the saddle. With the bridle resting on top, he carried it back and presented it to the knight.

░♔♚♔░ King Leopold grumbled, shifting uncomfortably in his throne. Isn't royalty supposed to be punctual? He pondered, narrowing his eyes and waiting for Queen Elizabeth. This wasn't the first time she had kept him waiting, but he was never tough on her. He merely nodded when she rambled on about nothing in particular, and listened to his wife's fretful rants. When he was younger, he was quite amused by them, loving her quirkiness and being attracted to her slightly unorganized lifestyle. He stood up from his throne and announced to no one in particular "I'll fetch her myself." With one decisive nod he marched from the throne room, walking down the wide hall. He had grown used to the familiar decor, many valuable paintings hanging from each wall, huge floor length windows that he preferred open. He liked the light it brought to a room. He slowly walked down a flight of stairs, up to the main quarters. He shared a bedroom with his wife, where she spent most of her time. He neared it, and breathed in the scent of her perfume. Yes, Elizabeth was here. He didn't smile nor frown, but merely entered the room expressionless.

"Elizabeth." He announced as he entered the room. The door creaked open to his touch, and he could see his wife sitting at the window seat of their bedroom, with a particularly yappy Corgi at her heels.

░♔♚♔░ Wyatt raised a brow at his sister and smiled "Oh... Nothing." He said vaguely, the mischievous smile still obvious on his face. He locked his hands behind his back, exiting the storage hut and facing his sister. He kicked the dirt, and said "Just... Thinking." He breathed in the fresh morning air, smiling and raising his shoulders, defensively putting his hands in front of him "I'm no harm to anyone here. Don't you trust me?" He cocked a brow, flashing a smile, and walking to her side. Suddenly, his smile turned into a frown "What do you care what happens in the lower city?" He said quietly "They are peasants. Nothing more." Quickly, he added "And the people of Ubus are the ones who should be afraid. Why should we suffer for their weakness?"

Grace sighed, "Well, with the look on your face, I don't think I can." Her voice was stern but her eyes were gleaming with amusement. Then her eyes went cold and her voice seemed to drop hundred degrees when Wyatt said his comment about the lower city. "Because we are part of the royal family, we must care for our people. Even the peasants. If you actually understood how hard it was to live them, you would understand," Grace answered coldly. "And I never said we were afraid of Ubus. I just said that they were being hostile. Once they come to their senses and make peace we won't have to suffer like this anymore," she continued briskly. "Anyway, I'm going to the stables. I'll leave you to your pranks."

Grace left before he could respond, turning sharply and walked off, her expression blank but eyes flashing. This comment about peasants has sent her good mood plummeting down. Ever since her week living in the lower city she has always been a bit protective of them. Grace hoped that a nice ride through the royal garden could lift her mood. She entered the stables to find the stable boy already working with a knight.

"Hello Xavier, I see you are here to enjoy a nice horseback ride on this fine day as well," Grace said, greeting the knight. She turned to the stable boy and asked politely, "And I'm sorry, it seems I have forgotten your name. Would you mind reminding me what it was again?"

"Oh!" Elizabeth crooned over Annie, giggling at the little dog's antics. "Come here, baby!" She bent down and lifted her onto the seat beside her, giving her a gentle pat on the head as she continued to squeal like a little girl over poor Annie. Elizabeth knew she must sound ridiculous, especially to some people, but so long as no one could hear her what should it matter?
At that thought she sighed, returning right back to her fretful ways. Some of her wondered even still if she should have agreed to marrying Leopold, he certainly could have done much better, perhaps someone who didn't worry about absolutely everything every single day. Not that she even always thought that way, some things she felt she was rather good at when it came to this queen business, but there was just as much if not more she knew she'd be terrible at forever.
"Elizabeth." Leopold's strong voice caught her completely off gaurd, causing her to flail in an extremely unladylike fashion and ultimately come sliding off the window seat and to the floor with a yelp. She mentally berated herself for the entire thing. Now he'd know she had to be up to something, no one reacted like that unless they had something to hide.
"S-sorry." She stammered, carefully getting to her feet again. Falling had never hurt so much when she was younger, another silly curse of old age, especially when you fell on stone floors. "You just startled me."

Appearance: A dark dark bay with the familiar white socks and long hair around the hooves of most horses of her breed. She stands at a huge 18 hands and a stripe down her muzzle.

Personality:
Soft spoken and sweet hearted is a good explanation of the show this tiny girl puts on. On the outside, her small features and happy attitude makes nearly everyone smile, but inside this little girl is in pain. The words she hears everyday are taken straight to heart, every single word. A very senstive girl with a very painful past are never a good combination, yet she manages. Alice plants a smile on her face everyday, wishing the pain away. As long as someone can get a chuckle or giggle out of her, she feels like she has accomplished something. Yet, when she is alone, the pain starts in. Her past riddles her delicate memory, causing pain and suffering at any flicker of anger or rage. Alice always tries to do her best, but sometimes, her best just isn't enough.

History:
A very sad story for her, but also much to common. She was born and raised by an abusive father after her mother's death. Alice is riddled with pain because of these memories, and won't talk to anyone about them.

Appearance:
A tiny girl in stature, she looks as if she could be a child. Her hair is a dark auburn, curly and thick. When you look at her, however, the first thing you notice are her eyes. Like that of a tumbling clear sea, her eyes are the bright color of sea foam. Her aburun hair often hides these little jewels, however, making them almost invisble to the eye. Alice does have curves, however small they may be, and her skin is a rich ivory which has pinkened along her back where multiple deep scars lay, abscurding her normal beauty. Shyness yet happiness is always on her tiny face, however, making up for most of her lacking properties.
