I mean, some people get pictures of draft horses and label them as Thoroughbreds - In my opinion, heigh doesn't affect the speed and stamina of a racehorse.

People use others art on the roleplay threads all the time. I ussually try to avoid doing so and if I do I credit where I got it from while also taking no credit for the picture itself. I also use people's nameless doodles that I'm pretty sure aren't anyone's actual characters.

A picture I was using got deleted by a mod in a roleplay (Along with the rest on my thread). No big deal really except the mod blatantly stated it as art theft. I honestly wouldn't call it art theft but whatever.

Except if you are going to delete all the pictures that someone doesn't own on one roleplay, you should be deleting all the of the others on EVERY. SINGLE. ROLEPLAY. ON. THE. WEBSITE. Such as anime pictures. There should be no double standards. None, nada, zilch, zip, zero.

And if me doing that is art theft, what about using photos you don't own? Isn't that art theft too? They didn't take the pictures either. Isn't that the same as drawing? And using pictures of other people you didn't take, isn't that art theft to?

My opinion is if you aren't going to delete all pictures/photos that weren't taken or drawn by a user, than don't do it all. And don't say it would be too many either. They're a mod, that's there job.

EDIT: Also, if that was considered art theft than wouldn't many if not most people's signatures and icons be considered art theft too?
